My 2004 Toyota Corolla engine dies off any time I pull out the oil dipstick or oil cover for engine, and this started happening after I just changed the engine rings.

This problem just started after I ring the engine , and before the rings were Changed you can actually open the oil cover and oils deepstick , and engine will keep running .
