It will take tens of thousands of naira to transport the cements from Benin to Lagos through bad roads and they also need to make their profit. BUA should have explained to us that the price slash was for distributors not final consumers

I wouldn't know how and when BUA explained that but I don't think he ever made that explanation. Despite the high cost of trucking, the price retailers and consumers get cement is high compared to what the distributors get it for. I can tell you that for free

The problem is with the major distributors not the retailers, they distributors add a high profit margin after they must have gotten it at a discounted price from BUA.
