In a follow up to ‘part one’ of a statement released on Facebook last week, in which he accused younger brother Rotimi of taking 21 mobile phones from a French football academy, Adebayor has now claimed Rotimi stole a shirt given to him by the late Marc-Vivien Foe, a signed jersey that belonged to Real Madrid legend Zinedine Zidane and a £25,000 Cartier necklace the former Arsenal star had bought for his mother. Adebayor, who recently met up with Chelsea striker Didier Drogba to discuss his personal problems, wrote: “In 2002, I went to play the AFCON in Mali and I had the huge privilege to swap my shirt with Marc-Vivien Foé. May his soul rest in peace. When I got back to Togo, I put that shirt in a secure place. My brother found a way to steal that shirt and sold it. “When I moved from Metz to Monaco, we reached an advanced stage in the Champions League and we played against Real Madrid. It was one of most beautiful days of my life because I was lucky enough to get a signed shirt from the football legend Zinedine Zidane. As I brought that shirt back to Togo, my brother still found a way to steal that shirt and sold it. “When I was in Metz, I was earning about €15,000 a month. I wanted to get something unique for my mom to thank her for all she did for me. I wanted to make her happy. So I decided to take an amount worth three months of my wages and I bought her a Cartier neckless for about €45,000. "Rotimi and his friends Akim(@Yam Freedom) and Tao (@Sao Tao Oyawole) made a plan and stole that precious neckless. They sold it for about €800. When my mom and I found out, my mother asked me not to bother because he is the younger brother. Despite the situation, I would like to take this same occasion to wish all the mothers out there a Happy Mother’s Day!” ...Adebayor’s increasingly bizarre behaviour is even worrying some of his closest friends and confidants. Sources close to Adebayor, whose £100,000-a-week Tottenham contract still has a year to run, fear his repeated rants will put off any clubs who were thinking of entering into negotiations....over a potential transfer or loan deal. Babaneh:must you e-thugs turn every single thread into political campaign rhetoric? hope you annoying id1ots are actually getting paid for all these stupidity being displayed online |
RedEboe:This sh1t has actually become rather pathetic....our interesting nairaland we used to enjoy has now turned political campaign tool with fake political sycophants ruining each and every front page thread with their campaign propaganda; really annoying, person no fit enjoy nairaland again |
ferdimako:smh...well, I'm currently in Germany now studying while most of the antagonists in that thread are still there searching for visa...most of the peeps in that thread, if not all, are not even personally financing their own studies/stay in Germany because they've never held a job a day in their life; they enter Germany and start looking for low end jobs that they won't be caught doing in Naija, making Germans look down on Africans, but I am the one that is broke? smh...I mentioned the personal reasons I chose to study in Germany not to brag but cos the people in that thread instead of answering my simple questions decided to abusively divert enquiry to why as someone from the US i was coming to disturb them in the German thread...I told them why and the abuse continued now you want to bring it into this thread ehn? |
WHY HAS nairaland FRONTPAGE BEEN TURNED INTO A POLITICAL CAMPAIGN PLATFORM. THIS FORUM IS BEGINNING TO SUCK DAY-BY-DAY |
I co-sign this thread I once entered the traveling to Germany thread to ask a couple of questions I was curious about and once the hoard of desperate nigerian-based visa applicants learned I was based in the US they all banded together and went on an all-out vitriolic attack...smh All na just unnecessary bad-belle |
northernigbo101:you don't condone violence so, how come you lay blame on others (westerners, the media etc) for the atrocities of those killing in the name of your useless god ? |

sbaks:ok, makes sense. i try to avoid nairaland these days ever since the front page turned into childish tabloid/gossip section bereft of anything meaningful or intellectual but this your statement makes sense as i remember the jihadists threatening the forum's owner in the past which forced him to create a separate section for them i just came to check to see nigerians take on this global headline news since we ourselves incessantly face the scourge of islam via boko haram but it's sad that the same tactics of fear to suppress freedom of speech/expression employed by these barbaric killers in this modern age is winning here in our own nairaland...is cowering to these animals not a way of encouraging their savage tactics of slaughtering anyone who disagrees with them? ...and watch the adherents of this so-called religion of |
Barbaric religion of a known peadophile This is breaking news all over the world but celebrity aproko is more important to our own nairaland's front page...useless nigerians |

taiwoGEEE: And john Terry passes to Makalele, the french did quite well to link up with Frank Lampard and Lampard gave a terrific ball to Ballack, Ballack chose to use the flank by linking malouda up with what i can only describe as a well polish pass. malouda did well to get pass zabeleta before putting the ball in to the danger zone of city for Didier Drogba to score.very unfunny...lame azz nigga |
are most of the people working in this fraudster's church like ushers not working for free? |
Kelly32: when it comes to this game of right or wrong I prefer to keep my opinion to myself. One thing is for sure, Nigerians are only realizing the challenges and responsibilities of a market lead economy. In such a scenario, things including education are expensive. Its unfortunate that corruption has lead to the failure of the public sector, but the problem is Nigerians don't seem to understand this. Our Government in Nigeria cannot give us the quality of education we need in this contemporary world. Thus the private sector must come in.sharrap there and quit trying to defend obvious fraudsters feeding off the gullible |
bushdoc9919: Charity unfortuantely comes with limits.you forgot the part where it was the blood, sweat, and hard earned cash of most of the members who cannot afford to attend that was used to build the school...they're actually the real owners of the school cos it was their contribution, no matter how small, that was used to build the school |
