crackhouse: oh they were clapping for the pilot, abi? Which means they put their hope on the pilot instead of God. Instead of them to give glory to God for the soft landing they were busy clapping for the pilot.I've clapped for a pilot before but not for the reason you mentioned. The flight was great and the landing was really, really good (no sudden dips, no screeching tyres, no sudden brake etc) and unlike some people who don't appreciate excellence, I make a point always to commend someone who's done a good job... so next time you clap when the pastor comes to the pupilt, or when a dignitary arrives at a public function, please ask yourself why you're clapping and what they've done to deserve it. |

Many people here seem to think leadership is stricly political. Fathers do you not lead your home, mothers don't you lead your children? Bosses, managers, team-leaders, headteachers, VCs, deans, heads of department, pastors, HODs, Immams, ... etc, are you not leaders?. Do you mean you've never bent the rules, paid money that was not due, turned a blind eye or kept mum about something you should have blown the whistle on, you've never carried someone's bag, run errands and practically kissed their feet or other parts of their anatomy, just to get something in return? If so, congratulations, you get to throw the first stone!!!!! Remember that by pointing a finger, 3 more are pointing right back at you so you better make sure you're not guilty. |
Timehin: Just received this pic on my BBTimehin, can you kindly remove the second picture in your 7.58pm post. It's got a dead person in it and it is not dignifying nor proper to broadcast this. I don't mean any offence. thanks |
