There is a story i saw on cnn about a shootout that happened in a cinema house in 2012.A gunman walked inside a cinema started shooting at ppl while they were watching a movie titled the dark night rises.one of the female survivors told reporters how her boyfriend pulled her down to the floor and laid on top of her.He collected a bullet in the back and died in the process but she survived.It happened in the US.Some ppl dey ready to die for love but those are ppl who are really in love and not in lust.

Educate me? I think you overestimated you own understanding. Of What benefit is to me as a Nigerian if Lawan or Gbaja eventually becomes the SP/speaker of HOR? The constitution specifically states that the members of the national assembly, not the party , shall elect the leaders of the house amongst themselves . This presupposes that external interference is an aberration. In which other clime with stable democracy do you hear of political parties exercising an overbearing influence on the elected representatives of the people. In places like United states, you hardly ever hear about party officials, once the election period is over they recede to the background

This is Nigeria not united state and please what does the law says about sharing officers in the national assemby and reps.?

The truth is Saraki and his father played a fast one on Kwara people. The ACN candidate Muhammed Balgore was gaining momentum, Saraki's father had to play the Gbemi card by forming ACPN to confuse the electorates and split the ACN's vote. In fact, on June 5, 2011 just 8 days after Gov Ahmed was inaugurated , Olusola Saraki and Bukola Saraki "re-united" after Bukola "begged", the PDP and Pa Saraki ACPN merged as one BIG Family. Pa Olusola Saraki was again affirmed to be the leader of PDP in Kwara. Saraki and his sister Gbemi were to play the same trick in 2015. How? Gbemi remained in PDP after Saraki moved to APC in 2013. She caused lots of troubles and had her faction and then dumped PDP to APC on the eve of 2015 Presidential election after deliberately destroyed the party from within

Barcanista i disagree completely. First of all, these guys are both politicians not some skilled footballer that solely depends on their flair, these guys depend on the ppl and are at the mercy of popular opinion, ones the ppl stop liking you no matter how smart and influential you once were you're done. Secondly, Saraki and Tinubu these guys both want to be president one day so the senate presidency and Tinubus fancy political résumé is just a means to an end, my point is from were we stand today saraki seems to be winning the war. Judging from recent events it will be safe to assume that the south east and south south will favour a saraki presidency over a tinubu one. Saraki also has a considerable amount of influence in the north that i believe he will stand a good chance even against tinubu, in the southwest tinubu has enough enemies that will undermine him and give saraki a whole lot respectable result even from that zone. In all tinubu was great once, but now he has passed his heydays and saraki is the new rising sun

Despite the fact that I am not a fan of both rogue, I cannot but say it's an insult to compare saraki and tinubu... Tinubu is much more...

A close look at saraki responds makes a lot of sense were free democratic laws are followed. Let the senate handle their issues, APC should just be like a guild and advice were necessary.

I am not a fan of tinubu cos I know he is ripping what he had sown nor can I ever be a fan of saraki but come to think of it... Has tinubu been a godfather in lagos state brought about development in Lagos state? What has saraki been a godfather in kwara state been of kwara... Those of us that had stayed in kwara sure knows that amongst the worst if not the worst godfathers in Nigeria is bukola saraki... Talking about democracy none of them can come out and spew rubbish cos the both dictate who becomes what in their states. Tinubus godfatherism has brought about emergence of brains and development in lagos but sarakis has brought about emergence of dullards and backwardness to kwara... NOTE: I haven't branded tinubu an angel, mind you when Bukola saraki father was to hand over kwara to him, that was exactly wat people said, who is competing with him naw, nobody, so it won't be a problem, if all senators had voted for him,I wouldn't have complained but his emergence is very bad for the masses...
