When you can achieve something with a simple pass and you go for something dazzling, it is showmanship. It is not by saying perish. You can't stop tactical advancement. It is nature.
And that's why the game has lost its flourish. Dead, sterile football. It will perish.

You argue like a young man who was introduced to soccer during Pep's era.

No reasonable human will rate De Bryne ahead of Zidane. De Bryne will not even make the list of the top 20 footballers of all time! Abeg rest this disrespect!
Na Pep na im be him alpha and omega in football. Before Pep there was no football, after Pep they will be no football.

They are talking about footballers, he's mentioning De Bruyne. Chai, football has fallen off its high perch

Zidane is known for showmanship please.
False. Are Messi, Maradona, Pele known for showmanship? No. These are players whose every touch was purposeful. It's just that in playing purposefully they did so with flair. But the flair did not diminish the purpose but rather enhanced it.

May tiki taka aka machine football perish

and what made you think that zizizou and his likes won’t adapt to today’s football that is based on high intensity?

Intensity ko!!
Na lie Bro. There was intensity in the days of Zidane. He likes to create imaginary criterias and run with it. Go and ask the players who played in Serie A in the 90s. They will tell you that their training regime was so intense that players used to vomit. I've read about it. Allow TheGoodJoe make him Dey talk him gibberish dey go. Intensity ko, immensity ni

You see that Zidane, you see how effortlessly he moves with the ball, he was fast and strong.

The passes and touches is not the problem but workrate. De Bruyne and Modric run like crazy on and off the ball.
Work rate my foot. Football is not rugby

My good doc, I disagree because in today's game, it is hard to have room for the magic.

Let us use Foden for instance. He is strictly a direct goal threat and focused in being key to our wins.

Not taking anything away from Zidane. What I am saying is,

Zidane is better than the new breeds of 10s when it comes to magic.

But these new breeds are monsters when it comes to goal contributions. Muller for instance is better than Zidane when it comes to work rate and tactical discipline in the offensive third.

See the bolded. That's why I hate this soulless machine football spawned from the deranged mind of an unfeeling monster. May tiki taka perish!

Does not change that Muller has more goal contributions than the magical touch.
Does not change the fact that Muller recognizes magical football rather than the deadpan football of tiki taka full of numbers and statistics

I will like Osimhen to work with Enrique due to his offensive style of play (Taka). However, PSG coaching department is so unstable that I won't want Osimhen caught in the crossfire of their incessant sacking.

Arteta has not fully convinced me but he looks tactically sound and I believe he can improve Osimhen.

I agree with a move to Arsenal.
You say taka? Osimhen cannot thrive in tiki taka abeg

Okala is a common surname in Ohafia, Abia State. Most Okalas I know are from Ohafia, and a few from Owerri. I still remember one brilliant law student then who graduated with first class honours from my school she was a native of Akanu Ohafia - Miracle Okala. Though, Emmanuel Oguejiofor Okala was born in Anambra, I don't think he is from Anambra State neither is he Igalan. Do Igalans or Anamberians bear Okala?

Nb: My first post was deleted by spam bot, but I just discovered that they have restore it after I made this post. You can find my first post directly under your original post where you asked about the state of origin of Okala
Yes Igala people bear Okala or Ogala

Both have different applications and or uses.

Dennis is a player who understands defending from the front, he does that better than all our strikers. He is a player that likes to win, he carries Osimhen kind of vibes. He is a fantastic dribbler. He seems to have redefined himself especially in the striker role.

However his passing, holding on to the ball, are areas he needs to work on, those deficiencies limits his role as a winger, but he excels well as a striker.

Lol.

If you don't pass the ball, then how do you intend to move it from your half of the pitch, to the opponent's goal? Dribble your way through? Long range shots from your half? grin
That's not possible. You have to pass the ball; your teammates need to have a feel of the ball.

Tiki Taka epitomizes the true intentions for the creation of the beautiful game called football( a TEAM SPORT created to entertain fans---emphasis on "team sport" ).

Football is not a one man show; it's not for selfish and aimless dribblers, who only care about showboating and taking all the glory. If I want that kind of entertainment, then I could easily watch those events that are specifically made for ball jugglers.

Football is about scoring your opponents and preventing your opponents from scoring you, and what better way to prevent your opponents from scoring than keeping the ball away from them? 🤷🏽‍♂️. Football is not Table Tennis or Lawn Tennis. It's not give me, I give you 😆.

Tiki Taka is the only football philosophy that emphasizes on playing as a team. When I watch football, that's the kind of entertainment I want. Unfortunately, there're are very few players right now who have the skill-set and intelligence that the likes of Dani Alves, Jordi Alba, Carlos Puyol, Sergio Busquets, Xavi Hernandez, Iniesta, David Villa and of course the master himself, Lionel Messi had back in the day.

Tiki Taka is life, but when it's done the right way 😄.

😂😂😂 Give me Samba, give me Jurgen klopp football not the travesty called tiki taka. May that scourge, that abomination called tiki taka perish

Passing the ball around without purpose is not Tiki Taka; that's just cluelessness. Look at the Barcelona teams of 2008-2015 and examine how they played their Tiki Taka; you can't compare it with the nonsense that the current Barcelona and Spanish National team play. There's a clear difference between them.

I get irritated when people refer to the nonsense that's currently being played, as Tiki Taka; it's not Tiki Taka. Passing the ball around without purpose is just borderline cluelessness, and it showcases an inability to be creative.

The Tiki Taka system is very complex, and it requires a certain skill-set from the players. If the right players aren't available, the system will fail.
Whether purposeful or not, tiki taka is the epitome of machine football. Pass pass pass from morning till night. I even hate the name. Sounds like the sound of a mechanical contraption.
