We all know that America is the place to be, some people on this thread are just reluctant to admit it. One thing that I have always found hard to understand is how Nigerian Government officials never learn anything when they visit America. Why don't they try to invest in a project at a time to make Nigeria more like America in terms of the infrastructures and amenities we enjoy here? For example why can't they say that by the year 2020 they will build a subway system in Lagos city or upgrade the electrical system so that there are no more wanton power outages? Or just clean up Lagos city streets that are sometimes used as improvised garbage dumping site for crying out loud. Until foreigners begin to go on vacations and tourism in Nigeria in large scale, America is healthy for me. |
@ alabiyemmy Indeed, there are exemptions and I'm happy that you are one of them. One of my wishes is that Nigeria should become as developed and advanced as America sometime in this century or two. ![]() |
@Omo Eko I was referring to stilettos and j-girl who were concoring with alabiyemmy's stance. It is very unfortunate that in the American media and perspective, Nigeria happens to be a Country marred with corruption and 419ners. So one has to wonder, how does one get rich in such a corrupt and desperate Country doing honest work? |
@ Omo Eko Relax Hun, I wasn't referring to you, enjoy ![]() |
@alabiyemmy Let your opinions about America be practical. @ Omo Eko My words are very credible, @ the other girls who are agreeing with the pretentious one, alabiyemmy why don't y'all just accept the truth about life in America. That life here is better than life in desperate and hopeless Nigeria, well unless one comes from a rich family which is mostly 419 money anyway |
@alabiyemmy I can see that you are full of pretense. You are not even in Nigeria and you are talking as though you are. Let me tell you the truth, unless one comes from a family that has material and financial fitness and security, life in Nigeria can be simply hellish and hopeless. By the way do you not know about the thousand upon thousand of Nigerians who enter the American visa lottery program every year just for an opportunity to come here? I don't think those Nigerians will be entering the lottery program every year if Nigeria is as hopeful as you try to present it. The average Nigerian today would slap you across the face if you try by stupid opinions to discourage him/her from doing anything they can to come here. |
@ Linda M. Not exactly, they show different historic programs, yes including war because the planet, unfortunately has a history of wars, some of which America reluctantly got involved in. But it is very educational, entertaining, informational, and credible. ![]() |
@9ja4eva Oh unrelenting parasite, are you not a virus and a cancer on this thread? I assure you your rotten body is going to stink like a skunk when you quench. Are you not going to die of jealousy? All those people you mentioned and I have one thing in common, we are all enjoying America and you are not. So don't get mad, just go and hang yourself and rest in pieces. The bottom line is I am here and you are not. |
@ O mo Eko Its not a deal for me. |
@ j-girl I born into planet earth, that is home enough. @ Omo Eko America has a very effective 911 system, those people should aquaint themselves with it and learn to use it accordingly. |
@ Omo Eko Or should I call you sisi eko, I am less afraid of death. It comes to us all no matter where you are on the planet. There is by far more security here in America than anywhere else today. |
@Omo Eko I have tried to be polite to you because you are a female, don't let me begin to get nasty with you. All I know is America has done for me what my Country of birth, Nigeria couldn't and can not do for me so don't hate on me because I've got the best taste. |
@Omo Eko And when you get there, stay there permanently and try and make Nigeria half as developed and advanced as America. |
@Omo Eko Why don't you relocate to your beloved Nigeria, (child of Lagos city) and stay there? you can't have it both ways.I have seen better, and I'm going for the best this life has to offer. I'll take your outburst as a compliment. |
@ Omo Eko Wake up girl, this is it, enjoy. America is the closest to a heaven there is today. @ The One I would have freely answered your questions but we live in a world today where it is healthy to be skeptical. I choose to retain my confidentiality. But I'll tell you this much, I am a naturalized US citizen and I'm glad to be one. |
@Franc 1982 Thanks for the complimentary review. Valentine Valentine's day is for lovers, No man wishes to be loner, Journeying through life like an island Sleeping alone on a beds' corner, Yearning for her to join him a little sooner. Melting for her torch with desire Like a burning candle melting beneath the heat of its own fire. Red roses are his token of love for her. Blue is the color she feels inside of her. Oh, what a pacifying feeling, Relieving the heart, mind, body and soul From stressful needings. No longer alone, today Valentine's day is here to stay. |
@9ja4eva You are beginning to sound pitiful, anyway I didn't know you were a female, different mentality. Let me inform you, Americans use proper English when speaking and writing. I don't know where you learned to write like that, but I must tell you, your writings are full of poor communication skills. |
@superfool Don't let my reality check pend on you like a bill upon an insolvent. As an American, I kick asses and take names, thats what I do. |
@Omo Eko Please, vividly demonstrate to me that 9ja4eva is really a female. |
Basket mouth Like a manufacturing company manufactures tangible products So does the mouth manufactures lies. It speaks eloquently, That which it can not eloquently verify. I asked, where is my inheritance? But it refuses to answer. So I asked again, where are my treasures? But it declined to respond. Then finally I asked, where is my money? But see?, it makes like a Mexican who refuses to speak in English. |
@ Omo Eko If you can somehow prove to me that this backwardly vain 9ja4eva is a female, then perhaps I shall relent and go easy on him/her for her unrelenting ignorance about my Country, America. |
@9ja4eva Why don't you spell out you words properly, I am finding it difficult to process your poor spellings and grammar or maybe you just don't know how to spell and write properly. As far as I'm concern, you are not an American and you are not welcome here. |
@ Linda M The rich do get richer here by a long shot but not at the expense of the working common man because America has a well established and enforced labor and employment lawsthat protects the interest of the lower class, unlike some underdeveloped Countries. |
@ Linda M The history channel is very a credible source of information to learn some American history from or go to your local library and do that American moon landing research. You will learn that the event did occur. |
@alabiyemmy I and my opponions about America are for real. America is one of the few Countries where there is vivid hope for the common man, unlike many underdeveloped Countries where due to poor leadership and corruption, the rich get richer at the expense of the working poor. |
@alabiyemmy Those people who send money from Nigeria to their relatives overseas are part of a very tiny minority. The majority of people in any third world Country would jump on any opportunity to come and do any kind of job here because they know that they can still earn more than the high paying jobs in these third world Countries due to the high currency exchange rates. Be real about it, most people are not as pretentious as you. |
@ Omo Eko I troway salute, But why do you refer to the primitive 9ja4eva as a her? @ texazzpete Indeed it is nice to travel, I for one have been entertained and educated by the sights and sounds of the people and places I have traveled to. @alabiyemmy Think before you reach a conclusion. The high currency exchange rates can be a major enticement for anyone in a third world Country. |
@9ja4eva You speak about god as though you know it, as though you and this god hanged out in the dance club the other night after a drink or two. Even you yourself won't deny that America is a blessed Country filled with riches and prosperity. Why don't you ask this god of yours to bless your beloved Nigeria as America is blessed? If every Country was like America today, I believe this world would be the closest to a heaven there could ever be on this planet. I tell you sincerely, you are a very shallow mind who refuses to consider the totality of the entire circumstances of the many helpful roles America play in our world today. I can understand why you are bitter, it is because you are not in America like I am, enjoying the closest to a heaven there is today. Don't get mad, just go to the US embassy in Lagos and hope they grant your stupid and ignorant ass a visa to come to a heaven like America where you can start learning your ABC and 123 because you are an illiterate fool. |
@ Linda M. Oh, sweet heart, perhasps then, it is you who needs to steep yourself in American history and start watching the history channel on your local cable network. Indeed, it is a factual historic event, ask anyone who knows a little bit about American history and I guarantee you, that person will verify it. And please, don't continue to be like the dog that continues to bite the hands that are feeding it. You being an American and enjoying the good things in America aught to be able to show significant and consistent loyalty to your Country of benefits, America. |
@Linda M. If a dog continues to bite the hands that are feeding it, how will those hands be healthy enough to continue to feed sure ungrateful dog? Will such dog not begin to starve? There are video footages of American Astronauts walking, collecting moon rocks/soil, and even playing improvised golf game on the moon. So let those millions upon millions of unenlightened minds be educated. It was a factual historic event where the phrase" One small step for man, One giant leap for mankind" was popularized. |
@Linda M. I assure you I knew about that and the space race between The United States and Russia. America won that race hands down. By the way, are you for America or against her? You need to join me and help me defend our Country from some of the ignorant and uninformed minds on this thread. ![]() |
@mamaput Don't lie, these inventions are very useful indeed, they make life fun and liveable. They are informative, educative, and entertaining among other important roles they serve in our lives today. @superfool How long shall you be stupid? |
