Yea, I did read some of her preceding post, they appeared as though she had a divided loyalty and comprehension towards America's charitable efforts.
TravelRe: What Do You Think Of America? by Multitask(m): 7:27am On Jan 15, 2007
@ Ndipe

Well, some of her post and opinions about America are not very loyal.
TravelRe: What Do You Think Of America? by Multitask(m): 6:41am On Jan 15, 2007
@ Linda M.

Perhasps you'll get it if I apply this approach. OK America did her part and contributed what she could at that time. It is now the turn of you and the Nigerian government to send edible items to the starving Africans and make your own contribution to help them out. Again, America is neither obligated nor mandated to give to other Countries, they only do it because of their compation and generosity. So instead of criticizing their positive and helpful efforts, you should be appreciating and encouraging it less they close their hands and give nothing at all, get it?

Tampons- Needed by women for bleeding control.
Tennis shoes- Worn on the foot for protection and also use for walking from place to place/trecking.
Bandage- Use to protect minor cuts and bruises from germ and bacteria infections.

I don't know about you but this are some useful everyday items here.

Finally, I retain a healthy doubt for the source of your information, American usually include food items in every relief parkage they send to poor and hungry African Nations. I have heard stories of how some corrupt top officials use donations that are meant for the poor for their friends and family.

@ Linda M.

You just don't get do you? It is better to give those useful items to those needful people than not to give anything at all. America is not obligated to give. The bottom line is "Something is better than nothing"

FamilyRe: Nigeria's High Birth Rate by Multitask(m): 6:17pm On Jan 13, 2007
I believe a well established and implemented family planning will be one of the major remedies to African's difficulty toward achieving and retaining a good quality of life for more Africans especially in Nigeria where there are more people than available resources.
TravelRe: What Do You Think Of America? by Multitask(m): 7:30pm On Jan 11, 2007
Simply put, on this planet, America is the place to be. Every other Country comes in at a distant second and third places.
There is no one I know today who wouldn't jump on any opportunity to come and live in this advanced and beautiful Country. And for all you Naijas who are saying all this negative comments about America, I've got this reality check for you "Like it or leave it"
TravelRe: What Do You Think Of America? by Multitask(m): 6:37pm On Jan 10, 2007
@ eslynera

I believe it is those restrictions and rules and their implementations that makes America the developed Country it is today. A lawless Country can not have much room for growth and development.
Music/RadioRe: Why Isn't Nigerian Music Very Popular Internationally? by Multitask(m): 7:55pm On Jan 09, 2007
It is because of the African way of speaking the English Language in the music and songs. Most International audience don't understand the words if they are not in English and can't sing along or dance to it. If Nigerian music could be presented in the language and accent of the international audience like Sade Adu is doing, I believe Nigerian music may become popular internationally.

BusinessRe: How To Sell A Business Idea To A Company by Multitask(m): 5:28am On Jan 09, 2007
Ideas are the easiest things to steal, before proposing to sell your business idea to any company, make sure you have secured enough protection for it by filing patents and trade names and trademakes applications as applicable. If you can afford it, you should get an attorney who specializes in this area of work to do the applicable paperworks for you. Finally, trust no own when it comes to making money.

Barbel was a lucky find
Who knew so much good could come out of a one night stand
Too many close calls is no good for me
I have being through hell
And now I am here
Experience indeed is the best teacher
As vigilant as the meerkat manor
So has become my approach in every manner
From now onward
May only favorable things come to me
From the casinos of Las Vegas
To the restaurants of London
I said
Let there be fun
Even fun without consequence.

ORIGINS

Oh Nigeria, the land of my birth,
How long shall you suffer?
worn out by the weight of hopelessness
Amongst wishes for better qualities of life.

Whose desire for incorruptible leadership
Is as distant as the starry skies.

Oh sweet land of tropical bliss,
Do your mosquitoes still bite at night?
Do your cocks still crow at dawn?
Yearning to announce a new era of hope for your children
From the hardships and desperations of your ghettos.

Oh Nigeria, my Fatherland
Does your endless political strives still
Drowns the mind with uncertainties.

Like a burning candle,
Melting beneath the heat of its own light,
I melt with compassion for you,
My Motherland

Oh sons and daughters of Nigeria,
How long shall you long?
From wishful thoughts.

It is I,
I said,
Let me cut your coats for you
According to you sizes.

Like Oliver Twist,
I wanted more
Bean cake and Fried cassava porridge
Processed on worn out kerosene stoves.

I'm from the tongue that discerned the taste,
I'm from the stomach that couldn't discriminate.

I am from the Country of power outages
Whose electric bills had been paid
Yet there was no electricity to use.

I am from fields of shattered dreams,
I lent a helping hand
From my broken wings,

I couldn't afford to buy some glue
I've had too many mouths to feed.

@ Iseg007 , Nigeria is one of the few Countries that has the favourable climate/environment for growing coaco, (The crop used for making chocolate products) a very popular food in the USA and Europian Countries. It is also very profitable, Americans just can't get enough of chocolate products. So if you can engage in coaco farming, I can find potential buyers for you in America.
