I drank Zobo a lot when i was pregnant and was fine. I drank Fura & Nunu as well and was fine. A week b4 i delivered, I drank Fura & Nunu and spent the entire night throwing up and stooling and hubby as since den forbidden me from taking it.

I guess our bodies absorbs and react to things differently.

Morning All, its my birthday 2day.... Yippee..... This time last yr I got the most fantastic bday pressie from God and i didn't know.

Went to see a Dr cos i had some rashes all over my body and he told me it was an allergic reaction and prescribed Antihistamines for it.... Hmmmmm.

The alagbos in my hse asked me to rub bitter leaf water on my body and my cuzins recommended that i drank it to wash out whatever it is i was reacting to. I was desperate to get over the episode cos of the itchiness so I considered drinking the bitter leaf water.

Just before i drank it, I decided to do a PT( i wasn't TTC'n but didn't mind getting preg) Lo and behold i got a BFP and dat was d cause of the reaction. Thank God i didn't drink the bitter leaf water .

I pray to God for anoda fantastic pressie dis yr and pray that God answers all TTC with their BFPs and May all pushing mama's have a safe delivery.

Some1 pls gimme a bday mate.

Baby E started refusing formula at around 3+ months and I let her (thinking she was just being playful). it then became permanent. We tried different teats (shey you know bottles have different sized holes for each age) and she refused it. We bought softer bottles and she drank a bit and played a lot. We changed formulas, nothing. But guess what? SHE DRINKS FROM A CUP AND FROM A SPOON.

Some babies wean themselves off bottles and nobody knows why but it just happens. So put it in a cup and see if she will accept it. its actually common and whilst most eventually go back to the bottle (just keep putting it in their mouth they may eventually accept it). If you have tried Medium flow teats on her bottle and she refused it, try a cup.

And please don't introduce cereal yet. I have (rolls drum) 3 consultant paediatrician (who used to lecture in LUTH sef, one is one of leading authorities on malaria in children in Africa), plenty other doctors and Baby E's own paed and they all REFUSED TO ALLOW ME GIVE HER CEREAL TILL 6 MONTHS. and for the 1st year of life, most baby nutrition should come from milk. Ask your paed. But you have the final say in what you decide is best for your pikin.

Thanks for your response ma'am. Can i start giving him cereal @ 3.5months? I tried pap once and he pooped immediately he finished and d poo was watery and sticky so i stopped giving him.

Well i don't think there is anything wrong with it. As long as he's comfy and sleeps well. That's aw i put my son ro sleep. He his usually restless sleeping on his side or back but calm and peaceful when lying on his tummy.

My 28 Days old son sleep for long hrs when laid down on his tommy as against lying him down on his side.
I hope it wont affect him in anyway? pls help a ftm bcs dh is not comfortable with it bt i can see my DS is comfortable and enjoy his sleep better.

Double the trouble, fun and blessings. My twins have arrived! A girl and a boy by 11.29am and 11.30am yesterday,Thursday morning,weighing 2.6kg and 3kg respectively via c-section.

At my 35 weeks appointment,the ultrasound revealed that both my babies were in cephalic position. Was so excited. I even popped wine when I got home that day . U can imagine the disappointment when by the following week,the leading twin had become breech. Was advised to strongly consider the possibility of a c-section. By 37 weeks they were both breech and the doctor booked me for c/s against 37weeks+5days. Said they couldn't take the risk of having me fall into labour with them in that position as I could go into labour anytime from even the 37weeks because it's twins.

Anyway,i arrived early. The procedure took place as scheduled with me awake. I was anxious,scared and honestly even shocked after my LOs were out. Was just wondering....did I really carry this 2 precious bundles or was I dreaming. All in all,i give God all the glory for everything.

Sorry team december,i left you guys. I also hereby hand over the mantle of class captain to @ soonest. I know she's capable and up to the task. . Easy and normal delivery I wish you all ex-teamies and of course other pushing mamas.
