Hmmmm Mil stays here in lagos n my mum stays in abuja but had to lock down her shop just to stay with me.infact she came along wit my 16yrs cousin staying with her.
I don't knw how I wil survive wen she goes n hubby goes back to work. Let me enjoy it now sha.

I'm a 1st time mum and both my mum and mother in law stayed just 1 week (mum cos of her biz in lag and MIL had to go back cos of work)

Mehn i had to adjust when I realised i was on my own with hubby and God blessed me with a peaceful baby that i know its either food or sleep when he cries. But he can eat for Africa. Can wake evry hr to feed.

My dear, I hav not really started d vigilante tins oooo cos my mum is seriously spoiling me.my baby only wake up twice @ night or @ most on few occasion 3 times.i do express milk n keep so they feed her while I sleep. Infact am yet 2 learn how 2 bath baby.my mum is leavin 1st weekk in dec n I wish my dad can jjust allow her stay longer.

I used National hospital, got no complaint whatsoever.

Personally I prefer a wooden crib, neva even considered a play pen. I saw this picture online and i got a good furniture guy to make something similar for me.

Good day to all the mamas in the house and congrats to all the new mums. Please I need some advice Fromm experienced mums oooo. Trying to shop for my baby's crib. Pls which is advisable? The wooden baby crib or the play pen? Someone said the wooden crib is not safe cos it's not as deep as the playpen and so there's tendency of toddler climbing out eventually and also the baby hitting their head on the wooden crib Don't know how true this is..... Pls experienced mums should help a first timer out oooooo. Thanks all.

Rota and pneumo are not free in National Hosp Abuja. I was told we have to pay for them.

. Its free in UCH Ibadan,OAUTHC Ile-ife, National hospital Abuja,should be free in LUTH as well(not tried that though)...are u sure you are not mixing up state and fed? Not HMO or NHIS o....free for children,d only issue is d crowd...u cld hv to spend close to 3 hours if u no sabi anybody.

MiddyO, it's well with you dear. Congratulations to those who just delivered their LOs and those who have successful POEs and Visa.

Good morning mama, I mix a tiny portion of Hydrocortisone cream with shea butter and apply on my son's skin whenever he has rashes / pimple like stuff on his face and it works like magic, u can try that.

PS: it was recommended by a Pediatrician.

Good morning, I think that is about right because my son's has always been counted d same way. Gave birth on d 5th of Aug, had his BCG on d 6th, 6wks appt on d 16th of sept, 10wks on d 14th of Oct and his 14wks is on d 11th of Nov.

Thanks 4 ur reply jare sis.My baby took BCG wen he was 8days old,so d nurse dat did health talk told us dat we should start counting next appt frm dat day n not frm birth.Den they gave us on d 18th sept as our 6wks appt instead of 11th...n on d 16th oct 4 our 10wks instead of on d 9th.And now we re given 13th nov instead of 6th...But anoda nurse told us yestrday dat we shuld start countin frm birth n not frm d 1st day of immunization... Once they start talking stories we will go to Fed Staff.

Hello, my son was given d penta 1 when he was 6wks and we went for his 10wks appt yesterday and he was given penta 2 and he his to collect penta3 when he's 14wks. We haven't had to pay for any of his Immunization injections so far. Mayb u shld try General hosp or something, I use National hosp.

Hello, that's the mucus plug. Labour might not start immediately (i still didnt go into labour 12 hrs after i lost my mucus plug and water broke, the had to augment labour after 14hrs)but i'll advice u go to the hospital and not take chances.

Pls is it necesary I go 2 hosp or wait til I c any oda sign? I dnt want 2 waste my time n money goin 2 hosp, only 2 b sent bk.
