@greenpea, thanks for the info, when you say they sent out people to go and learn how to do acupunture, do you mean like a training on the act of acupuncture? for people who wish to start their own acupuncture service centre?

I didn't attend the programme but I have done acupuncture a coupla times and a believer.
1. It helps blood blow to the uerus. Removes stagnant blood especially for those with endo
2. Helps balance the body
3. Said to aid build healthy endometrum (as an effect of no. 1) and aid implantation,
3. Frankly my best part, helps me relax. The regular acupuncture not the electro acupuncture gets me 100%relaxed. I imagine if the uterus is calm it will be more receptive.
Essien is the only one I know in Lagos. He has offices at Ajah and Festac. Google him but PLEASE bargain well and don't tell him u saw about him online so he dosent increase price!

@AyaSunday, Please go for hsg, as this will help widen the cervix and after the procedure you can use Ibuprofen and Beecham ampiclox for 10 days to help it heal properly and not stick when healing afterwards you can start using clean point.

i just came across this forum today, im ttc , i had my right fallopian tube removed in march from ectopic pregnancy. The doctor say my left fallopian tube is okay but my problem now is i ovulate from only my right side and since right fallopian tube is not there, its making it difficult to concieve, please any advise on how to get my left ovary ovulate too. the right side is more dominant....i really need to get preganant again, my first child is almost 8 years old. Thanks

@creamyice, you just got me laughing...there is no advise on how to get one ovary or the other to ovulate.......normally women ovulate from the left or right ovary from month to month and secondly when one tube has been removed the other becomes very active provided it is patent....it works like a right handed person who lost his right limb after a while the left hand becomes active and can do virtually every thing....so absent of one Fallopian tube does not hinder conception....do your research on google and worry less.

Biko nu umunna, is it possible to take a trigger shot & still not ovulate & what are the implications of taking the shot after one might have possibly ovulated(took letrozole, so early ovulation is a possibility)? Just confused

@CovenantBabies, trigger shot is taken when a follicle of about 18mm has been seen through scan.... what did you sight before taking the shot? If you wself medicating you need to apply wisdom, in fact, you self medicate when you must have followed your gynae for some cycles and know what he does in different situations and also use Google to confirm why he does some things

One dh friend told him he wished he didn't have a child and wishes his child could die....he was married for a while no baby and they decided to go for ivf and ended up having an slowpoke, now he's wishing he waited on God, so thank God for every state you find your self cos there are people who wish they 're like you and most times they hide their pains and feel better when they succeed in making you feel sad #NoMoreTaunting

For me, TTC has taught me to be a fighter....no one can intimidate me with belle or pikin o.....one day I was at the clinic and the nurses who know how long I've been coming to see my gynae were like, your own never still enter? Later they started gisting, saying children are what keep marriage.... and I burst in o...I told them categorically that children are not what keeps marriage but God, that some people have 5 kids both male and female and their husbands still walk away from them or kick them out meanwhile there are couples who are childless for 10 years and they are still together...So God is the one that keeps marriage and that made them shut up their mouths.

Another time a driver in my office asked if I don't want children that I and dh are doing well how come we don't have kids? So I was like we want kids but they are yet to come and he said, that he timed his wife and got her pregnant the first time and immediately his daughter was approaching 2 he fired the second one....lol...So I told him every one has their challenges and the aim of this challenge is to draw us to God for solution, that some have kids and can't feed them and some have the money and the children are not there, the guy had to tell me that feeding is a problem that infact he can't even pay hospital bills for his baby and pregnant wife and he's wishing they could increase his salary to 25k

The one that always calls to pray for me, I stopped saying amen cos I realized the prayers were not genuine and I told the person to stop praying for me cos it's not their prayers that will give me children that God is fighting my battle for me....

Friends and relatives who hid their pregnancies and acted like I was going to steal their pregnancy, after delivery they come back and try to monitor me, asking unnecessary questions all I do is create an invisible boundaries they can't cross...

So what am saying in essence is don't let anyone bring you down cos you are yet to have a child, go to facebook and UNFOLLOW people that make you sad and follow sites that encourages you....ttc calculation is much for you to let someone else scatter your maths with worries o.

In fact this e family is a place to be....a place you can get all ur questions answered, a place where pelt won't try to ock you or intimidate you cos you don't have kids yet....

i have done hsg,had patent tubes. scans show I have normal ovaries. I am certain I ovulate because I have regular cycles ,ovulation pain and positive opk. my obgyn prescribed clomid and vit e. He says it's to improve egg quality

@Dazzle86, to the best of my knowledge, clomid doesnt improve egg quality it only tricks your brain to ovulate more hence the release of multiple eggs and a better chance that one of the egg will get fertilized.....i wish you best of luck
