Family / Power Situation In Nigeria: A Nation In Darkness? by Mummyfour(f): 6:02pm On Apr 19
What exactly is the reason for this abysmal power supply we are experiencing in Nigeria?.
What exactly is happening?
Why are Nigerians not crying out?.
1 hour or less of power supply in 24 hours ?
From Lagos to Abuja to Owerri, umuahia, Ibadan and infact every where
It's affecting households, small businesses and even large businesses that have to depend on the expensive diesel and fuel to operate their generators.
What exactly is going on?.
We have never had it this bad.
Is it every day that the power grid falls like they want us to believe?
Is our power grid standing on bamboo sticks
I feel so pained that there's really nothing the ordinary man is benefitting from being a Nigerian.

How is the light situation in your area and do you think we should keep quiet about it and leave it for God as usual?

yes. Most police officers I know actually go back to school to study law. Most times for promotion or just to add to their CVs. Some of them use it to prepare land documents when doing land business as a side hustle

Religion / Re: Dunamis Church 'Fake Testimony': Anyim Vera Deserves An Apology by Mummyfour(f): 9:50am On Apr 15
Honestly, I watched that testimony time and I really pitied that lady. That was a global embarrassment because a lot of people are usually tuned to dunamis programs from every part of the world whether they are members or not.
Like I told my daughter whom I watched it with, pastor Enenche didn't do well at all. Even if he needed to prove a point, he should have allowed her, then later on come on the altar at the end of testimony time and just make a statement that people should not lie on the altar and all that without making reference to her.
That blunder he committed is enough to make her depressed or even suicidal. It takes a lot of guts to give a testimony in a massive congregation like that. And secondly, even though I am not holding brief for her spoken English, but most times, stage fright can turn one's grammar upside down, no one is perfect.
This is the reason most people don't like giving testimonies, because of embarrassment and at times again members are practically cajoled to give testimonies so as to appreciate what God has done and so that others could strengthen their faith through it.
But with this embarrassment, a lot of people will refrain from giving testimonies.
I can imagine the embarrassment.
Not to talk of how her family members, friends and colleagues will be mocking her.
Honestly pastor Enenche didn't do well, but he is a human being.
This graduation picture I have seen posted on social media just proved she actually went to the school and graduated. But like most people have said, she should improve herself because if she speaks that type of English in front of a judge, she will be thrown out of the court.
But again at a point I heard her taking corrections and she admitted it was LLB when pastor Enenche was trying to correct her.
She may have actually forgotten.
Nobody is perfect.
Though Like I said she should improve on herself

And again, she may have just gone to that school to become a graduate to prove a point that she has a certificate, not necessarily because she wants to practice with it

By the time he starts threatening to call his customers out from the EFCC cell, they will overturn his conviction sharp sharp grin grin. Because the gut this guy had that made him to be so noisy on social media and every where stems from the fact that he is rubbing shoulders with some high placed men and in my own opinion I feel he is doing homo pimping racketeering. But he was just too noisy. I hope he learns his lessons and come out a changed person, and make amends and also lie very low.

All through the night I was hoping this guy would survive it. I just got the shock of my life hearing he passed after I had seen videos of people rejoicing he pulled through. This is very pathetic. This happy go lucky guy. And an only child of his parents for that matter. In the video when he was on the river, he was even begging the ferry guy to be careful because he was an only child and would be the one to raise his 3 boys. My heart is broken

I was in Lagos, actually that same yaba bridge and I saw it happen live. Infact as they will say with my korokoro eyes. A lady was being intimidated by those thugs to drop money for them because she bought what looked like bedsheets.
Omo, she stood her grounds and refused to pay Shi Shi. I could not believe the effrontery of these thugs. I didn't understand initially until after they had let her go, I walked up to her and asked her what happened and she told me what it was. I was flabbergasted. You have to pay those idiots for buying something with your hard earned money, if not they will waylay you on the bridge and scatter or make away with your purchases

For the past 3 weeks I have been climbing that bridge. I have lost weight grin grin, because na serious exercise. Until I discovered the flat part of the bridge, I used to use the stairs and it was not funny with people running into you, or hitting you. Earlier in January there was one opening by the fence people used to pass through, but by the time I returned there in February, it had been blocked. So if you need to go over to the other side 10 times, you have to climb the stairs or use the other part. One day I almost collapsed due to exhaustion because I had to go on that bridge 4 times back and forth to purchase some items for someone o brought to the hospital around there

Let me explain how it works. Bottle of water in Nigeria goes for 150 Naira retail price.. wholesale may be lesser. The same bottle of water in Ghana goes for 3Gh, which is over 300naira in equivalent. Tekmosor soap in Nigeria is 250 to 300 naira retail price. Here in Ghana it's 12Gh, almost 1300 naira. If you factor in the logistics you'll also be left with alot of profit. But please note: I only used the water and the soap to make example. I do not export them because I can't sell them online. People are exporting though.

For me,I bring in Products that I can promote online only.

When you're promoting products online your conversation rate will be high, because the people that will contact you from online and those that need the product. They've just call to negotiate the price, and then proceed to make order, that's the beauty of online selling.

You can as well bring in people and help them put the products online, everyone will be profitable at the end. How you understand
thank you very much. I appreciate

Religion / Re: TB Joshua Made Childless Couples To Exchange Spouses –ex-worker by Mummyfour(f): 4:40pm On Jan 12
I spoke about the experiences my late mother and a school mate had in that place and one uncouth person here called me names.
You all should know that there was Simon the sorcerer who did magic and also craved for Jesus' powers.
I can never idolize or reverence any man, even a man of God. People began to reverence TB Joshua and it is obvious with the comments and attacks that people who don't see him as perfect get from his adherents.

No man is perfect no matter how humble, forgiving or sacrificial he appears. If you study your Bible very well you will know that the coming of the anti Christ will be well received if we could have gotten so carried away with a mere mortal who lived amongst us.
Only the wise and the discerning will understand my words.

The RCCG pastor said some of the things I heard so many years s back. But I know people will still bash him for saying what he experienced.

Shalom

So everyone that goes to church for whatever reason get answers at that instant? You said a lot of he said, she said, reached a conclusion on the basis of she tell me say, he tell me say and then concluded with "I'm not passing judgement" You sound like a borderline retard. Why not get ur own personal relationship with God right and ask him to reveal the truth to you since u want him crucified so bad u wish whatever is said of him is true to satisfy ur hatred.
how did you feel when you called me a borderline retard? A high obviously?. You untrained fellows cannot make simple statements without insults haba!.
It is my opinion and I stand by what I wrote here. State your own opinion and stick to it. I found out that people that throw insults at every given time especially when things are not going their way are usually bullies

Religion / Re: SCOAN: TB Joshua’s Church Counters BBC Investigation by Mummyfour(f): 2:09pm On Jan 09
My late mother who had cancer went to his church and she had bitter experiences. she died few months later. even before then, I had followed that man's ministry and I knew it wasn't real. it takes he who has the spirit of God to discern real from fake

Secondly, my junior in school then was conscripted into his fold. We didn't see her for a long time. Few years later we ran into her, and she told us with fear in her eyes that she had been in TB Joshua 's church. We ran into her at okokomaoko in Lagos. We asked her if she was going to come back to school, but she said no. We felt she wanted to tell us a lot of things, but we noticed she couldn't, like she was afraid or something.

2 years ago, my friend in Texas called me to say he had reconnected with her, because growing up, they were neighbors and she confided in him everything that was going on there. It was heartbreaking. Her parents were aware but because TB was assisting them financially, they turned blind eyes to her ordeals
She said she was abused in every way you can imagine. She is free now and has started learning hair dressing.
She told me friend in Texas a lot stories of what goes on there. My friend was happy when he heard Joshua had died. Infact he called me to confirm his death. Some of us in Lagos knew what was going on, but people were just afraid to talk or were basically leaving in self denial. J
So for people saying why are people coming out now to talk, I will refer you to the documentary of Jim Jones, Asahara and a lot of other church like cults.
Most of the survivors only speak at the death or arrest of their masters because they have been manipulated into silence.
My late mother told me that a lot of fakery was going on there and she had to throw away his miracle water she bought in anger. She made a lot of feeble attempt to tell people what her experiences were, but most people felt she was lying because she was not healed.

She actually went to synagogue without telling me because she knew I would have raised hell because I had been following that man s ministry and knew it was the more you look the less you see.

Please let's all know that there's always an iolta of truth in some rumours.
If you didn't see or experience some certain ills in that church, don't draw conclusion that he was perfect.
I remember the day that Chris okotie went live on air on DBN TV to call out TB Joshua. He was yelling and telling of his spiritual battles with TB. Eventually DBN had to cut off that live program because it was raw and harsh. Even after that interview he still kept granting interviews in the print media and also had issues with Chris oyakhilome because okotie couldn't understand why oyakhilome was aligning with Joshua.

The men of God in Nigeria knew things about that man and that was why they kept him at arms length. He didn't even have a relationship with the most liberal of them haba!!.

People knew when he was a white garment hchurch goer and also a herbalist my brother in-law ran into someone that knew him closely and people really could not contain their shock when all of a sudden he became a pastor of a mega church, just like that from no where?.
And what came out of the collapse of his building where souls were lost?, He gave a story of his building being shot down by ALIENS or what?😅

So whatever it is, don't always disbelieve people. But above all, have a personal relationship with God and like Jesus said even you can do greater works of healing and deliverance. You don't need to depend on a mortal. You can have a greater grace to do exploits if you walk in righteousness with God.
I am not passing judgement on him.
May God have mercy on him, on me and everyone that has offended our Heavenly father in any way. Nobody is perfect

What of badagry beach? Who has been there of recent?.
It used to be my family's resort spot those over 30 years ago, and that was because we lived around that axis Beautiful scenery, lush coconut trees and coconut fruits, very neat., Enough waves, quiet and not noisy like other beaches farther in town. Though we used to go to bar beach then .

I left Lagos so many years ago and would really love to know what badagry beach looks like. I had been telling my children that I will take them to Lagos from my present location so they could have a feel of beach life in Lagos

But this analysis is not encouraging at all. I can imagine my daughter's sharp mouth comparing the beaches in Lagos to what is every where else.
Once I was in Ghana and I can't remember the name of that beach now, but it was beautiful. We didn't get harassed or bullied by area boys and it was a fun time we had. The place was neat, enough foamy waves crashing every where. Chai it was really nice o
