Gabriel1992: we go dey try harder, trust in God more, pray harder and take advantage of good opportunities with open minds. One day Baba God will pick our calls and cause us to rejoice and celebrate |
Where these people dey see these Kain money sef?. Anyone that knows a real legit way should tell me o |
All through the night I was hoping this guy would survive it. I just got the shock of my life hearing he passed after I had seen videos of people rejoicing he pulled through. This is very pathetic. This happy go lucky guy. And an only child of his parents for that matter. In the video when he was on the river, he was even begging the ferry guy to be careful because he was an only child and would be the one to raise his 3 boys. My heart is broken |
7demons:shut up jobless fool. Idiot. Hope your clapback puts money in that kolo under your bed. People are arrogating good things to themselves and you are proud to call your self an unfortunate clap back master on nairaland. Pervert |
okerekingsley90:don't mind the drunken pervert. He is a waste of space |
7demons:you are not just a demented idiot but also a psychotic pervert. How dare you insinuate that what your parents and entire generation have been doing and will continue to do is the same thing that respectable married people with children will do. God Will definitely punish your life for this false accusations. It will never be well with you bastard. So because you are unfortunate in life and apparently have neighbours that avoid you, every other person that has a good neighbour and relates well is a sexual pervert like you. My neighbours are not juvenile delinquents like you, but matured well established married people with children One would have thought that you should be happy that at least I have good neighbours irrespective of our tribe and religion knowing what we are facing in Nigeria, but see you ranting like the bastard son of a peadophile that you are You this silly child that stole his father's android phone at night to mention me with this rubbish, goodness from God and men will be far from you. Because you believe there are no good people, you will never meet good people in your life. You will toil endlessly and you will continue to fail. |
I am lucky o 😄. My neighbours and I coperate o. We even share Christmas and Easter food. We have a WhatsApp group and we dey open gates for ourselves when our aboki security guard takes off from the gate house to pray or run errands. We also charge phones in any neighbour's house that puts generator on and borrow iron from each other if any body's own gets spoilt ![]() |
Slymonster:I was trying to draw the attention of the suffering of festac residents as it concerns powerin Lagos state irrespective of the distribution company |
georgecso:That 1 ear is still expensive and you would not get it for 1.500. Maybe the teeth or tip of the cow tail is what one can buy for 500 now ![]() |
donproject2:BAND W |

chillex8:I use a Volkswagen Passat and my dear the car AC na die o. Then Avalon AC is one other car that is crazily cool for it AC coolness. But you see Peugeot eh!! That product na die. When my Passat was having compressor issues, and I couldn't get the compressor easily,my mechanic and electrician advised me to do Peugeot conversion. Infact I respect that car AC |
Finally oooooo!!! Haaa!! All these Lagos thugs that use every avenue and opportunity to intimidate molest and rip people off their hard earned money. I was in Lagos, actually that same yaba bridge and I saw it happen live. Infact as they will say with my korokoro eyes. A lady was being intimidated by those thugs to drop money for them because she bought what looked like bedsheets. Omo, she stood her grounds and refused to pay Shi Shi. I could not believe the effrontery of these thugs. I didn't understand initially until after they had let her go, I walked up to her and asked her what happened and she told me what it was. I was flabbergasted. You have to pay those idiots for buying something with your hard earned money, if not they will waylay you on the bridge and scatter or make away with your purchases |
So true true, my favourite actor has actually died😭😭?. I had been living in self denial for weeks refusing to accept it, until I watched a video of Charles inojie eulogising him yesterday and I became devastated. This man's death pained me o. It's not like people would not die, but when people like this that bring so much joy and laughter depart this world, it is heartbreaking. May his soul rest in peace. Please John okafor greet Sam loco Efe and other artistes that helped us laugh away our pains and sorrows |
For the past 3 weeks I have been climbing that bridge. I have lost weight , because na serious exercise. Until I discovered the flat part of the bridge, I used to use the stairs and it was not funny with people running into you, or hitting you. Earlier in January there was one opening by the fence people used to pass through, but by the time I returned there in February, it had been blocked. So if you need to go over to the other side 10 times, you have to climb the stairs or use the other part. One day I almost collapsed due to exhaustion because I had to go on that bridge 4 times back and forth to purchase some items for someone o brought to the hospital around there |
Emmanuel Amuneke, my bros any day anytime. Cool, calm, collected Nice to a fault. He is not your average Nigerian. The guy only depended on his salaries that were not even paid as and when due by NFF when he was coaching under 17. He didn't do kurukere or put his players under pressure. Very lovable person. We used to celebrate his birthday on the 25th of December in my house when he was in Nigeria. Abeg let them give him that coaching job. Sentiments aside, he will do a good job. He is a devoted person |
jasent:thank you very much. I appreciate |
jasent:please I need your help on this. I have sent you an email. You mean sending items from Nigeria to Ghana. Please check your email. Help your sister |
I spoke about the experiences my late mother and a school mate had in that place and one uncouth person here called me names. You all should know that there was Simon the sorcerer who did magic and also craved for Jesus' powers. I can never idolize or reverence any man, even a man of God. People began to reverence TB Joshua and it is obvious with the comments and attacks that people who don't see him as perfect get from his adherents. No man is perfect no matter how humble, forgiving or sacrificial he appears. If you study your Bible very well you will know that the coming of the anti Christ will be well received if we could have gotten so carried away with a mere mortal who lived amongst us. Only the wise and the discerning will understand my words. The RCCG pastor said some of the things I heard so many years s back. But I know people will still bash him for saying what he experienced. Shalom |
Daystar7:how did you feel when you called me a borderline retard? A high obviously?. You untrained fellows cannot make simple statements without insults haba!. It is my opinion and I stand by what I wrote here. State your own opinion and stick to it. I found out that people that throw insults at every given time especially when things are not going their way are usually bullies You guys just talk any how like you people have monopoly of grammar or insults. My late mother didn't tell me hear say. And if can't respect your mother even if she is alive, I respect mine even in death and I believe her 100%. If you guys can't read people's comments and not foam in the mouth, then stay off nairaland |
My late mother who had cancer went to his church and she had bitter experiences. she died few months later. even before then, I had followed that man's ministry and I knew it wasn't real. it takes he who has the spirit of God to discern real from fake Secondly, my junior in school then was conscripted into his fold. We didn't see her for a long time. Few years later we ran into her, and she told us with fear in her eyes that she had been in TB Joshua 's church. We ran into her at okokomaoko in Lagos. We asked her if she was going to come back to school, but she said no. We felt she wanted to tell us a lot of things, but we noticed she couldn't, like she was afraid or something. 2 years ago, my friend in Texas called me to say he had reconnected with her, because growing up, they were neighbors and she confided in him everything that was going on there. It was heartbreaking. Her parents were aware but because TB was assisting them financially, they turned blind eyes to her ordeals She said she was abused in every way you can imagine. She is free now and has started learning hair dressing. She told me friend in Texas a lot stories of what goes on there. My friend was happy when he heard Joshua had died. Infact he called me to confirm his death. Some of us in Lagos knew what was going on, but people were just afraid to talk or were basically leaving in self denial. J So for people saying why are people coming out now to talk, I will refer you to the documentary of Jim Jones, Asahara and a lot of other church like cults. Most of the survivors only speak at the death or arrest of their masters because they have been manipulated into silence. My late mother told me that a lot of fakery was going on there and she had to throw away his miracle water she bought in anger. She made a lot of feeble attempt to tell people what her experiences were, but most people felt she was lying because she was not healed. She actually went to synagogue without telling me because she knew I would have raised hell because I had been following that man s ministry and knew it was the more you look the less you see. Please let's all know that there's always an iolta of truth in some rumours. If you didn't see or experience some certain ills in that church, don't draw conclusion that he was perfect. I remember the day that Chris okotie went live on air on DBN TV to call out TB Joshua. He was yelling and telling of his spiritual battles with TB. Eventually DBN had to cut off that live program because it was raw and harsh. Even after that interview he still kept granting interviews in the print media and also had issues with Chris oyakhilome because okotie couldn't understand why oyakhilome was aligning with Joshua. The men of God in Nigeria knew things about that man and that was why they kept him at arms length. He didn't even have a relationship with the most liberal of them haba!!. People knew when he was a white garment hchurch goer and also a herbalist my brother in-law ran into someone that knew him closely and people really could not contain their shock when all of a sudden he became a pastor of a mega church, just like that from no where?. And what came out of the collapse of his building where souls were lost?, He gave a story of his building being shot down by ALIENS or what?😅 So whatever it is, don't always disbelieve people. But above all, have a personal relationship with God and like Jesus said even you can do greater works of healing and deliverance. You don't need to depend on a mortal. You can have a greater grace to do exploits if you walk in righteousness with God. I am not passing judgement on him. May God have mercy on him, on me and everyone that has offended our Heavenly father in any way. Nobody is perfect |
Goldenxtim:Thank you for your response |
iamclime:oh wow!! Awesome, thanks. I used to leave around okoko while growing up, had all my education in Lagos including LASU. But I Left Lagos and that area about 25years ago. So I know it will be kinda nice to go around there again. I will let you know. Thank you |
bluefilm:my favorite too especially those programs that deal with forensics and thorough investigations. Some one once accused me of loving SNAPPED because I wanted to know how to kill him 🤣🤣 |
What of badagry beach? Who has been there of recent?. It used to be my family's resort spot those over 30 years ago, and that was because we lived around that axis Beautiful scenery, lush coconut trees and coconut fruits, very neat., Enough waves, quiet and not noisy like other beaches farther in town. Though we used to go to bar beach then . I left Lagos so many years ago and would really love to know what badagry beach looks like. I had been telling my children that I will take them to Lagos from my present location so they could have a feel of beach life in Lagos But this analysis is not encouraging at all. I can imagine my daughter's sharp mouth comparing the beaches in Lagos to what is every where else. Once I was in Ghana and I can't remember the name of that beach now, but it was beautiful. We didn't get harassed or bullied by area boys and it was a fun time we had. The place was neat, enough foamy waves crashing every where. Chai it was really nice o |
18wheeler:🤝 deal |
Irupetepete:let's motivate ourselves. That is my aim for this year too. I want to drop like 30-35 kg before September. It takes hard work and dedication. I used to be a fitness freak and was looking so fit, trim and young even after 4 children. I was a good size 12. But a lot of water passed the bridge these few years and I realized now that I practically breath hard when I climb the stairs. I am going back to fitness o. It may be difficult but with dedication I can build back the stamina I used to have of running for 35 minutes, road work and ending up doing 8.5 on the treadmill for 25-30 minutes. My stamina was something else for a woman. But nowadays, just small walk , I will be panting like a puppy denied of water. And after God and my children, exercise used to be my joy giver. I am going back to it. Ironically, my daughter is a fitness coach and karate trainer, but I keep dodging her . But this year she said she is ready for me🤣🤣 |
This man that doesn't help people even with the collosal amount of money he has amassed wituall his years in government. And he is saying help will come. Maybe he should start by helping people first |
YelloweWest:this is the comment I was waiting for. You as a parent cannot connive with a child to despise your spouse. Children see things and have even helped in investigations in domestic violence. A lot of people will be blaming the son, but he must have seen things. I remember seeing my father abuse my late mother from when I was 6 years old. And if I say the things I know and saw, probably some myopic Nigerians would say my mother Brain washed me at this my age abi? My children also saw how I was abused by their father and I didn't need to convince them of anything. They have formed their opinion about their parents and will stand by it So for those people that treat their spouses badly and expect that their children will keep quiet or even bully their children into silence by saying their mother or father brain washed them, continue, when it is time for your children to sing out their pains, they will do so. I am not holding brief for either of the parents, but what I know is that none of them was perfect in that marriage, but I believe one of them was more reckless than the other |
The best decision I made was committing and dedicating my children to GOD whilst they were still in my womb. Making good prophetic utterances concerning them which eventually came to pass. |
