Waiting for Christ's return does not stop you from doing your daily business. The waiting here means remaining holy and pure through prayer and his word. If you are genuinely saved ie washed by the blood of Jesus and aspiring towards perfection, you are already a saint. Forget the way some churches give it as a title, it's not biblical. When church give someone the title, they may not know if God is pleased with the person, only God know his saints. It's not supposed to be a title.
