The Billionaires Behind Tinubu Risking A Revolution
By SKC Ogbonnia
March 15, 2023

The meeting of some Nigerian billionaire businessmen, notably, Aliko Dangote, Tony Elumelu, and Femi Otedola with Bola Tinubu, an illegitimate president-elect, is as insensitive as it is provocative. That is impunity gone too far. As if the show of shame lacks in folly, Mr. Elumelu—the poster vainglory of the Nigeria’s shady banking system—had the affrontery to share a video of his family hosting the number one enemy of the Nigerian youths. What an eye-sore!! What a social miasma!!

The same Tony Elumelu is alleged to have weaponized his huge influence at the United Bank for Africa (UBA) to morph up the millions of scarce new notes which Tinubu deployed to rig the 2023 presidential election. This brazen sleaze took place at the time the ordinary customers of the bank were sleeping 24 x7 at its premises, begging to withdraw a few naira to feed their families.

The immediate consequence has been a move by some people to boycott the UBA where Mr. Elumelu serves as chairman. A boycott is commendable and ought to be extended to Dangote and Otedola businesses, as well. Yet, such move is not as troubling as what could follow.

The fact of the matter is that the Nigerian masses have not only become wiser, but they also act wiser. The apparent endorsement of a sham election by these billionaire businessmen is not being viewed as business as usual. The ordinary Nigerian people now know their true enemies, and they are very angry.

The masses are angry that their long-awaited opportunity to produce a leader of their choice is being sabotaged by corrupt politicians in cahoots with their cohorts in the private sector. The anger is most merited because even as the country has hit the rock bottom under President Muhammadu Buhari, these double-dealing mercenaries are colluding to foist a successor, who is destined to be worse than his predecessor.

The most provoking is that Dangote, Elumelu, Otedola and co are keenly aware that Tinubu never hesitated to make it known his intention to continue the Buhari policies that rendered the country hopeless. They are very aware that Tinubu is an invalid who no longer exhibits the physical nor the mental capacity to lead a nation like Nigeria. They are also aware that the man is the country’s shadiest politician ever to stand a presidential election, let alone winning one.

Combine the above with a myriad of evidence that points to the gospel truth that the former Lagos State governor did not win the presidential election. Follow that with the fact that the plot to impose a corrupt kingpin cum drug lord on the Nigerian people only goes to further damage the country’s image around the world. The explains the thick cloud of shame that has engulfed the Nigerians living in the Diaspora since the illegal declaration of Tinubu as president-elect.

Despite these existential misgivings which are bound to worsen the condition of the ordinary Nigerians worldwide, the money bags are hellbent on backing Bola Ahmed Tinubu as president-elect. But the reason for the do-or-die support is not far-fetched. It is an open secret. Institutionalized corruption has been the sole raison d'être for the success of the respective business empires of these tycoons. They simply want to stay the status quo of lawlessness that made it possible for them to accumulate huge wealth at the expense of the poor masses. Thus, they are resisting the change that a vast majority of Nigerian people voted for.

But, again, the Nigerian masses have become wiser. They recognize that the attempt to impose Tinubu is an existential threat. They now recognize that there must be consequences for bad behavior. They can now relate to an admonition by the then sitting Minister of Transport, Rotimi Chubuike Amaechi, that Nigerian leaders have continued to misbehave because the followers do not “stone” them. But the most relative and most instructive is the genius of a former American president, John F. Kennedy, who said that “Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.”

The point of this matter is short and simple. Barring the desired change from the status quo, a mass revolution of global consequence is imminent in Nigeria. Commonsense dictates that the masses—home and abroad—are merely waiting for the outcome of the court cases challenging the sham election. And, as recent events have shown, any “violent revolution”, as Kennedy had admonished, will not be a conflict between the tribes or between the Christians and Muslims, as Mr. Bola Ahmed Tinubu would wish. The common enemy are the ruling elite and their influential sympathizers. Stay tuned…!

Politics / Re: Why Does Most Igbo Businesses Thrive In Informal And Illegal Markets by Munamoqel: 3:11pm On Mar 16, 2023
akingangan:
It is a common saying that Igbo people like money
However, an observation when you travel to countries abroad with a big Nigerian population such as the United Kingdom, Dubai, and The United States, you find that the majority of the Nigerian shops and businesses are owned and operated by Yoruba people.

While in Nigeria Igbos dominate the markets which are mostly informal such as selling
Medicine (Many chemists selling Fake drugs were tackled by the Late Dora Akunyili who was a distinguished Nigerian of Igbo origin)
Pirated movies and music
Fake branded cloths
Used and modified Electronics
Hawking in the street
Car spare parts
and so on

The Agbero unique tax system which the Lagos government formulated out of the Federal government's restricted business environment is an exception but much complained about.

Gone are the heydays when there was order in the markets and shops like Leventis were the norm.
This begs the question: Why do Igbo businesses thrive in informal and Illegal markets
the only thrive in illegality the informal sector is a formal ground for hunting the next scam victim.

Stop spreading false information that people are planning anything against igbos during the governorship election in lagos.

Lagos is not the only place where election is going to take place.

as for why igbos were not allowed to go their separate way, Nnamdi azikiwe caused it. He should be blamed for removing the secession clause from the Nigerian constitution

why are Igbo more interested in Lagos election than their home state this suspicious .are Igbo they only non Yorubas in Lagos .why are other not trying state captures

Crime / Re: The Crime Of The Igbo Tribe Must Be Too Great. by Munamoqel: 12:01pm On Mar 12, 2023
Iykoto86:
*The crime of that tribe must be so great.*

In 1966: Nearly 1,000,000 of them were massacred in the North as revenge killings for a coup that was plotted by a young man that bears their name but had never been to their land.

They escaped back to their homeland and wanted a country of their own, but they were told that they must belong to one indivisible Nigeria

For three years, they resisted and lost another 3,000,000 of their kith and kin who were fed to the vultures. Their entire homeland was a killing field, they were killed, and they were starved. Kwashiorkor finished up their starving children. Many of their wives and daughters were raped and some were taken into forced marriages.

After three years of annihilation, the genocide ended. The few that were still alive crept out of their holes and re-embraced the country that has massacred them without a just cause.

To return to the country, they were economically stripped of their remaining dignity and offered only £20 (₦40) each in exchange for their money they had in the banks before the war broke out ....millionaires before the war restarted life with £20 (₦40). They did not complain, they accepted their fate and reintegrated with all.

Within a short while, the country embarked on an indigenization policy which enabled many of their South Western, South-South and Northern brothers to buy up major multi-nationals at a giveaway price... but with £20 (₦40) in their pockets, they could only watch .... those that owned houses in the big cities lost their homes to the criminal policy of 'Abandoned property' as enacted by some states aimed at committing official stealing.

In the civil service, the policy of the quota system made it impossible for many of them to be accepted back into their former jobs ... In trying to get a quality education for their children; the policy of giving admission to children from educationally disadvantaged states, saw their children score so high at entrance exams but locked out from most of the Federal Government Colleges and universities; even though they were coming from war and for three years did not have any functional school system, they were still categorized as educationally advantaged. 53 years after the war, the educationally disadvantaged states are still educationally disadvantaged and the Igbos are still blamed for everything and denied major government presence and projects.

Locked out of schools and locked out of public service, they embraced trading and other menial jobs that a man could do with his hands to feed his family. To survive, they spread out again to the big cities with memories of their dead ones and rundown homeland.

Everywhere they went, they lived frugally, sometimes, a master lived in his shop with his 5 boys until they made enough money to rent a one-room apartment.

Of all their brothers, the Yorubas were the most accommodating after the war and this made many of them quickly forget the pains of the war and settled down to play major roles in the development of the communities, in which they found themselves.

In their host communities, they never looked back in donating towards the building of schools, churches and whatever was required...Some even married the daughters of their hosts and some took titles. At drinking bars, you find Jide and Emeka drinking and laughing. At school, you find Ebube and Bisola reading and playing together as best of friends.

Soon, at the turn of the 90s, many of their town unions encouraged them to completely trust their hosts and join hands in opening up areas that were hitherto, uninhabited, especially the swamps and the mangroves....they bought swamps and the term 'sand filling' became popular, they bought thick mangrove forests and in mowing them down, they became Osuofia and the money coming from them, made their hosts happy because most of the places they bought and transformed had laid waste for years.

With vigour, they negotiated for lands to build markets, cleared the lands and built the markets and were happy to welcome state and local government tax and rate officials. If you slap them on one cheek, they gladly turned the other with a smile. When they build houses, they trust everything to their Yoruba builders, and even in their homeland, all their building projects were done by the Yoruba boys they have come to love and trust.

Then...
1999 came....all celebrated the re-emergence of democracy…
but gradually, a new anti-Igbo message started, but they ignored it because they have completely fallen in love with their host...

In 2014.....
The divisive politicians showed up in their numbers and made them; the Igbos the sacrificial lamb all over again...

Someone wrote somewhere and I agree with him completely that:
In 1993, the Igbos voted Abiola against Tofa who had an Igbo as Vice-President…

In 1999, the Igbos voted for Obasanjo en-block

Obasanjo is Yoruba

Obasanjo lost Yorubaland but scored 85%+ in Igbo land

In 2003, the Igbos voted for Obasanjo

Obasanjo scored 95% in some Igbo states

Obasanjo defeated Ojukwu in Igbo land.

In 2007, the Igbos voted for Yaradua

Yaradua was Hausa-Fulani

Yaradua scored his highest percentage of votes in Igbo land

In 2011, the Igbos voted for Jonathan

Jonathan is Ijaw

Jonathan scored 95%+ in Igbo land

In 2015, the Igbos voted for Jonathan

Jonathan scored a higher percentage in Igbo land than in the South-South Region

In 2019, the Igbos voted for Atiku

Atiku is Fulani

Atiku scored a higher percentage in Anambra than Adamawa

In 2023, the Igbos voted for Obi

Obi is Igbo

Once the Igbos voted Obi they became ethnic-bigots

Once the Igbo gave Obi what they had given to Shagari, Abiola, Obasanjo, Ya' Ardua, Jonathan and Atiku, Igbos became criminals.

My heart is very heavy as I pen down these few lines because I smell another pogrom aimed at Igbos loading and I can't see anyone stopping the genocidal messages spreading on many South-West and other platforms

... People are speaking of the coming Governorship election in Lagos on Saturday 11th March 2023 (now shifted to March 18th) as if it is a day that has been marked as D-Day for something very cold and un-Lagos.

And I ask again, what is the crime of the Igbos?

Some said Igbos claim to own Lagos and I laugh, someone who owns a place is buying land and paying tax and rents in the same place?

I am that ‘Kwashiorkored’ Igbo child (now 54) born in the war that you are trying to retrigger.

The dark clouds are gathering once again. Can someone please send this to all Igbo politicians who help in whipping up this anti-Igbo sentiments just for selfish political gains.
We know them and they know themselves.
it seems kwashiorkor has damage you head .ibo has been attempting state captures since 53 for reason Best know to them . From killing northern region and Western to trying to put south south and mid west in their fake baifra republic .to abusing his fellow Igbo man from Ebony

Health / Re: IVF Treatment In Indore: What To Expect And How To Choose The Right IVF Centre by Munamoqel: 6:26pm On Mar 06, 2023
ladygynecologis:
In-vitro fertilization (IVF) is a complex medical procedure that involves the fertilization of an egg with sperm outside the body, in a laboratory dish. IVF is a popular fertility treatment option for couples who are struggling to conceive naturally. With advances in technology and medical science, IVF has become more accessible and affordable, and there are now several IVF centres in Indore that offer this treatment.

IVF Centre in Indore: What to Expect

If you're considering IVF treatment in Indore, you'll likely have several questions about the process and what to expect. Here's an overview of the steps involved in IVF:

Step 1: Ovarian Stimulation

The first step in IVF treatment involves stimulating the ovaries to produce multiple eggs. This is typically done through the use of hormone injections. The goal is to produce as many eggs as possible, which will increase the chances of success in the next step.

Step 2: Egg Retrieval

Once the eggs have matured, they are retrieved from the ovaries using a minimally invasive procedure. This is typically done under sedation or anesthesia, and it involves inserting a small needle into the ovaries to remove the eggs.

Step 3: Fertilization

After the eggs have been retrieved, they are fertilized with sperm in a laboratory dish. This is typically done using one of two methods: conventional IVF, where the sperm and eggs are mixed together in a dish, or intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), where a single sperm is injected directly into each egg.

Step 4: Embryo Culture

Once the eggs have been fertilized, they are monitored in a laboratory dish for several days to allow them to develop into embryos. During this time, the embryos are regularly assessed for their quality and viability.

Step 5: Embryo Transfer

The final step in IVF treatment involves transferring one or more embryos into the uterus. This is typically done using a thin catheter that is inserted through the cervix. The embryos are carefully placed in the uterus, and the patient is then monitored closely for signs of pregnancy.

Choosing an IVF Centre in Indore

If you're considering IVF treatment, it's important to choose a reputable IVF centre in Indore. Here are some factors to consider when choosing an IVF centre:

Success Rates: One of the most important factors to consider when choosing an IVF centre is their success rates. Look for an IVF centre with a high success rate, as this will increase your chances of success.

Experience: Another important factor to consider is the experience of the IVF centre. Look for a centre with experienced doctors and staff who have a proven track record of success.

Technology: IVF treatment requires advanced technology and equipment. Look for an IVF centre that has state-of-the-art technology and equipment to ensure the best possible treatment.

Cost: IVF treatment can be expensive, so it's important to consider the cost when choosing an IVF centre. Look for a centre that offers competitive pricing and financing options.

Patient Support: IVF treatment can be emotionally and physically challenging, so it's important to choose an IVF centre that offers comprehensive patient support. Look for a centre that provides counseling, support groups, and other resources to help you through the process.

In Conclusion

IVF treatment can be a life-changing experience for couples struggling with infertility. If you're considering IVF, it's important to choose a reputable IVF centre in Indore. Consider factors like success rates, experience, technology, cost, and patient support when making your decision. With the right IVF centre and a little bit of luck, you may be able to achieve your dream.
