The president is right on this one, from the content of this statement, the presidency intentionally avoided that meeting. Its even possible some of the other African nations convened such in order to play a fast one without first consulting with Buhari on the relevance of such meeting. I'm just speculating anyway but Nigeria remains a leader in the african continent and deserves a lead role in such events that involve it as a nation
