In 2012, an estimated 2.3 million individuals worldwide were newly infected with HIV, according to the World Health Organization (WHO). Many have prayed to see the day a cure is found and those prayers may soon be answered. Researchers at Temple University in Philadelphia have found a way to destroy HIV and AIDs by operating on the DNA system. Professor and Chair of the Department of Neuroscience, Dr. Kamel Khalili, talks with CBS about how they did it: Basically converting infected cells to un-infected cells and that is very important because the current therapy can not eliminate the virus from cells we have a cure for HIV elimination. We have a system to eliminate HIV from the cells in the laboratory. According to CBS Local, its now just a matter of bringing the system of elimination discovery to life with clinical trialson animals and eventually humans. According to Dr.Khalili, there is not a specific period that the discovery will make its way to clinical trials, however many people are tuned continue here @ www.musbolaj..com/2014/07/the-end-of-hiv-university-scientists.html?m=1

The 10 Secrets To Make Her Want You Okay, so there is a woman whom you really like and you would love to charm her. Check out the tips given below which can help you to Gain her thrust. 1. Do not consider yourself as unattractive. If you feel that you are not attractive then there is no way in which you can make the woman find you attractive. This type of thinking will influence your body language and the way you think. Take some care over your appearance so that you feel at your best, and start telling yourself that you are attractive. 2. Do not bore her. There are times when men tend to bore women without even realizing that they are doing that. Never talk about your work, sports or weather when you are with a lady, unless you know that she is truly interested in the subject. She may listen for hours and even say she is interested just to be polite. Then she will go home without agreeing to a second date, and you are left wondering why. The reason is, you fell for her pretence of interest, and ended up boring her. If she is genuinely interested in a subject she will not just ask questions and listen, she will have a lot to say about it. For example: if she asks you which team you think will win the Super Bowl, she is pretending to be interested. If she tells you which team she thinks will win, and why, then okay, she may be interested in football. 3. Do not talk too much. If you talk constantly, you can make the lady turn her back on you. She will either think that you are babbling because of nervousness, or if not, she will find you boring. Try to get her talking too. Even with the shyest woman you can do this if you help her to feel relaxed and find out what she is really interested in. 4. Never ask too many questions. I know it is weird when you are with a woman and have nothing to talk about. However, this does not mean that you have to keep asking her questions after questions. Asking a few questions can make a conversation interesting but asking too many questions will make the lady want to run away from you. Instead of interrogating her, pick up on hints in what she says, that show you when she has some real feeling about something. A good way to do this is to repeat something she has said back to her in a questioning tone of voice. This will encourage her to say more but it comes across as interest rather than another question. For example: You: “What kind of movies do you like?” Her: “Oh, I guess … comedies mainly.” You: “Comedies?” Her: “Yes, like , Meet The Parents.” If you know that movie you now have quite a lot to talk about. You can discuss that movie and the follow-up and think of some similar ones that she probably likes too. Remember, you are not just chatting to pass the time. You are building trust by creating connections and letting her see similarities, things that the two of you share. With this technique you must only repeat actual words that she said. If you say “What kind of comedies?” then that is another question and she may feel she is being interrogated. 5. Avoid Yes / No Questions. Avoid questions that can have Yes or No as the answer, e.g. “Do you like movies?” This can kill the conversation. 6. Do not treat a woman as a prize. A woman does not like the idea of being a prize or a possession. She will not be attracted to you if she thinks you are showing off that you are with her, or if she suspects that you will boast about your conquest of her to your friends. continue reading here-------- http://www.musbolaj..com/2014/07/the-10-top-secrets-to-makes-girl-want.html |

The Bayern Munich defender announced the shock news on Friday on the back of lifting the World Cup Bayern Munich star Philipp Lahm has revealed his shock decision to retire from international football in the wake of Germany 's World Cup success. The 30-year-old captained his nation as they overcame Argentina 1-0 in the final, making seven appearances to help them to their first major trophy since Euro 1996. "I told Jogi Low about my decision to retire from international football on Monday," Lahm told Sport Bild. "I'd been thinking about it over the course of last season. Fasting is good for diabetics patient.. experts says. A senior official from the Ministry of Health said on Sunday that fasting would help diabetics type 2 to regulate their glucose levels. Speaking in the ‘Hello Ramadan’ program on Sunday, Dr. Eman Shasha, an endocrinologist, said fasting is beneficial for diabetics type 2 patients. She added that it is not advisable for insulin-dependent patients to fast during the holy month since they are likely to be suffering from other chronic ailments related to diabetes. The phone-in program, ‘Hello Ramadan’ was launched last week with its first program entitled ‘Your Health in Ramadan’ to receive people’s inquiries regarding various health problems they encounter during the holy month of Ramadan. The year, the program is focused on ensuring Muslims maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle and will stress on the importance of taking prescribed doses of medication in a timely manner during the holy month. The service is available on the toll free number 800 249 4444. It will be operated in Arabic and is open to the public from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays. A panel of specialist doctors in various fields will take questions from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays throughout the month. The physicians will also interact with the public through social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook. “Diabetics in general should follow medical advice strictly when they fast during this month,” Shasha said, adding that doctors prescribe the dose of insulin they should take during the non-fasting period. She also explained that diabetics could experience low blood sugar or hypoglycemia during the period of fasting with symptoms including shivering, excessive perspiration, dizziness, and sugar levels dropping to 60 or 70 mg at the beginning of the day. “In such instances, the person should break their fast immediately. “Diabetics should have small meals frequently between the iftar and suhoor period,” she added. Meanwhile, Mukhtar Khan, who has done extensive research on diabetes and is currently working as a Research Coordinator at the Medical and Rehabilitation Consultancy House, Riyadh, ridiculed the idea that fasting during Ramadan carries health risks for diabetics. He was referring to an article, “Fasting during Ramadan: The health risks for diabetics” published in the Independent, UK dated July 4, 2014 with questions and answers by Dr. Neesha Patel, a psychologist at Manchester University. “Fasting is actually beneficial for diabetics, if properly planned with patients being advised by their doctors on dietary management,” Dr. Khan said. He further said, “There are several scientific research works published in journals of international repute, which prove the health benefits of fasting for diabetic patients.” He added that some diabetics who are prone to hypoglycemia, diabetic ketoacidosis and dehydration need close supervision by doctors to continue here http://musbolaj..com/2014/07/fasting-is-good-for-diabetics-patient.html |
Fasting is an age-old practice, which has been performed for several millenniums by most ancient cultures and religions to cleanse the body; purify the spirit; and teach patience, strength of character, and abstinence as well as keep control over food, overconsumption, and sensual desires. In Islamic teachings, fasting protects against temptation, sins, offending others, misbehavior, anger, altercations, lies, gossip, evil doings, crime, and other types of transgressions. Allah Almighty, prompts Muslims to do good deeds and attracts them with His blessings and rewards for the virtuous and pious acts such as supplementary prayers, Zakat, (tax imposed on the rich for the benefit of the underprivileged), charity, kindness to others and the underprivileged, abstinence from evildoing, feeding the hungry and the fasting, cladding the unclothed, caring for the orphans, treating or financing the sick, telling the truth, hosting a guest or traveler, smiling to others, or even saying a kind word. By observing Ramadan, we end up collecting physiological, mental, and spiritual benefits. Now, I will resume my analysis of certain scientifically proven health benefits that come from proper fasting. When I say proper, I mean to fast the way fasting was ordained and that it should not be followed by overconsumption, especially with the wrong types of food like sugar, syrupy desserts, chocolates, doughnuts, creamy pastries, soda and soft drinks, fries, and fast fatty foods. Moderation is key in all our lifestyles in order to be healthy and well. Studies in the last couple of years came up with interesting and astounding results about fasting. They have shown that a sudden drop in food and calorie intake, such as consuming between 500 to 800 calories a day only, can “trigger protective processes in the brain…” and prevent the risk of degenerative disorders like Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s diseases. Fasting two days a week can also prevent the brain from shrinking. Research indicated that excess weight gain and obesity are causes for the brain to shrink. This phenomenon is an indicator of future brain disorders (dementia, Alzheimer’s…). It was shown that fasting and calorie restriction protect the brain from decline because of the subsequent weight loss, which promotes the regeneration of neurons. Calorie restriction can help the brain cells to become more resistant to stress as well. It has an important role in restoring the functions of the appetite hormones, leptin and ghrelin. It regulates them by fueling the metabolic rate in order to control weight gain, obesity, and other metabolic syndromes. Leptin and ghrelin have another important function than regulating appetite; they also regenerate brain cells in the hippocampus, where memory is located, making it protective to the memory cells. According to Dr. Mark Mattson, professor of neuroscience at John Hopkins University of Baltimore and senior investigator at the US National Institute of Aging, obesity disrupts the internal balance of the two hormones, especially at around forty and fifty. He says “Obesity at that age is a marker of cognitive problems later.” The good news is that regular two-day fasting has been shown to reverse brain cell damage in rats, improving the memory and making it significantly more active. Fasting also triggers hormon............ continue here....... http://musbolaj..com/2014/07/many-benefits-of-fasting.html |

The heavily armed NSCDC personnel stormed the office around 10am, forcefully dragging out security men manning the office and whisking them to their office, on the allegation that JAMB refused to engage their services. Ugbole was said to have fainted in the NSCDC, before cell before he was rushed to the medical centre. Speaking with newsmen, the state coordinator, Daniel Agbo expressed surprise with the “commando-like manner officers of the corps” invaded their office saying it was crude and uncivil. Showing journalists bruises all on his body, Agbo said he was fell thrice, even as “one of them pointing his rifle” at him He said cash from sales of scratch cards and forms, mobile phones and other personal effects were carted away by the attackers. When journalists made to hear from the NSCDC state commander, Mr. Dayo Adesuyi, on what transpired, his men barricaded the road, raining abuses. One of the officers, Akusebio, T.
