Nezan: The main tenets of Islam can be very appealing,
   a. A call to believe in one God, the God of Abraham, Moses, and Jesus
   b. A call to repentance and submission to the will of God
   c. A call to holy living, involving diligent prayer, fasting,
      charity, and pilgrimage

Yet the early history of Islam and recent events have many people wondering,
   a. Is Islam a religion of peace?
   b. Does Islam allow people to live together in harmony regardless of
      race, class or beliefs?

Most Muslims say they are for living together in peace and harmony,
   a. Especially those living in countries where Muslims are in the
      minority
   b. Yet one might ask, "Is this because of Islam, or in spite of
      Islam?"
   c. Would there be calls for peace and tolerance if Muslims were the
      majority?

Islam is a religion of peace $ the only acceptable religion before God whether anybody likes it or not.It is a pure religion given by God to Prophet Muhammad{S.A.W}.Unlikely other religion that were formed by human e.g Judaism,Budhaism,Christainity etc,Islam stood out among all.No matter how this perfect religion is being tarnished with terrorism,suicide bombing or Al-Qaeda,it will continue to grow because it's not a man-made stuff, That's why all muslims are one i.e they pray together,go for Hajj in Mecca in respective of race,colour,social background,financial status,political status be u president,governor or a common man, They come together to form the largest congregation that any other religion can never beat, Perhaps God has said it all in the Quran that He will be the one to take care of His religion which He will continu to do till the last day.No matter the conspiracy by Jews $ Christains to rubbish Islam,Allah himself will continue to defend His religion by Himself, Surely,I seek refuge from devil & his agent, Ma salam

Suhaibu: @Viaro. Quran is not a book of history nor book of stories unlike bible where certain stories (most of them false) and erroneous genealogy of a Man, Jesus that has no genealogy (Luke 3:23-38; Matthew 1:1-17) and pornography also in the bible (Ezekiel 23:1-49) among others.

He is so beneath contempt that he did not deserve a mention in the word of God (SWT). So it was left to the Prophet (PBUH) to warn the human race about the up and comming fitna. There are reams of ahadith which relate to Dajjal. And as I remember alot of them actually give a physical description, ie. black curly hair, strongly built. This would lend credence to the fact that the Dajjal may actually be a man (not just a system). Of course the system preceding the emmergence of Dajjal, would have to significantly weaken the spiritual resolve of humanity - so that the evil in all men could be then exploited to its full - so (as Shiekh Imran Hossein says) perhaps Dajjal is behind the scenes and is waiting to make his apperance. And, of course Allah (SWT) knows best.

The second is that it is a moot point to mention him, because if you follow the majestic Quran and the excellent example of the Prophet (PBUH), then the Dajjal's power will not be able to effect you anyway. It is said in the Hadith, that all rightly guided peoples on the earth at the time of Dajjal, will be able to see the word "kafr" clearly written on the forehead of the Dajjal. Also, the Prophet (PBUH) said that if anyone is confronted by Dajjal, then they should recite the first 10 verses of Surat Al-Kaf (The Cave), and Dajjal will be powerless against them.

It's funny how this Christian puppet are making false allegation about the religion of Jesus. O' Yes! Islam is the religion of Jesus.

most men prefer younger women. The kaaba is a house which prophet Ibrahim(A.S) and prophet Ismael(A.S) built as a sacred place for worshipping Allah. During the time of prophet Muhammad(S.A.W) the muslims used to face the Aqsa mosque when praying later, Allah Commanded prophet Muhammad(S.A.W) to face the kaaba which is in Mecca when praying. So, Muslims do not just face the east when praying, they are facing the kaaba from all directions.

We are doing that out of obedient to Almight Allah,Who creats everything you can either see or know and those behind our ability to know. People mostly utter some words out of ignorance, If any of you wishes to know more on Islam or Muslims let him peak Al Quran and read it very well with all sincerity of knowing the truth.I believe God will show him alot of reality which are in Islam only and no other religion.

For the believes: ALLAH said they will never believe no matter what u show or tell them.

As for me I am proud to be a muslim that understand his religion very well.

Any matter on religion is very broad but most people know less about what they are talking about.I don't think any religion issue can be finalise online.

If by new world order you mean conquest of non-muslim nations and compelling them to convert to Islam, then i still fail to see how that's something new given the fact that many Muslim countries now were once Christian.

of Maalula last week forced at least one person to
convert to Islam at gunpoint and executed another
one, residents said Tuesday.
"They arrived in our town at dawn on Wednesday
and shouted 'We are from the Al-Nusra Front and
have come to make lives miserable for the
Crusaders," an Islamist term for Christians, said a
still frightened woman who identified herself as
Marie.
She spoke to AFP in Damascus, where she was
attending the burial with hundreds of others of three
Christians from Maalula killed in last week's fighting,
the long line of mourners led by a brass band playing
dirges.
"Maalula is the wound of Christ," mourners chanted
as they marched through the narrow streets of the
capital's ancient Christian quarter, their voices
nearly drowned out by the rattle of automatic
gunfire in honor of the dead.
There was an irony in that, as the assault on Maalula
came only a couple of weeks before a major feast,
the Exaltation of the Cross.
Maalula, around 55 kilometers (34 miles) from
Damascus, is one of the most renowned Christians
towns in Syria, and many of its inhabitants speak
Aramaic, the language of Jesus.
Home to around 5,000 people it is strategically
important for rebels, who are trying to tighten their
grip around the capital and already have bases south
and west of Damascus.
Maalula could also be used as a launching point for
attacks on the highway between the capital and
Homs, a key regime supply route.
Clashes first erupted on Wednesday, when Al-Nusra
Front fighters and other Islamists attacked an army
checkpoint at one entrance to the town.
The advance raised fears of attacks on churches or
Christians in the town, but on Friday, the opposition
Syrian National Coalition said rebels had withdrawn.
On Saturday, the Observatory said rebels were
fighting pro-regime militias in western Maalula, and
were also clashing with Syrian troops on its
outskirts.
Tuesday night, the Free Syrian Army said rebels had
withdrawn from Maalula to spare its people and
heritage, but only on the condition that the regime
kept its forces out as well.
Recalling the events last Wednesday, 62-year-old
Adnan Nasrallah said an explosion destroyed an
archway just across from his house that leads into
the town.
"I saw people wearing Al-Nusra headbands who
started shooting at crosses," said Nasrallah.
One of them "put a pistol to the head of my neighbor
and forced him to convert to Islam by obliging him to
repeat 'there is no God but God.'"
"Afterwards they joked, 'he's one of ours now.'"
Nasrallah, who spent 42 years running a restaurant
in the US state of Washington named after his
hometown, said he was devastated by what
happened in Maalula.
"I had a great dream. I came back to my country to
promote tourism. I built a guesthouse and spent
$2,000 installing a windmill to provide electricity in
the town.
"My dream has gone up in smoke. Forty-two years of
work for nothing," he lamented.
But worse, for him, was what he said was the
reaction of his Muslim neighbors when the town was
seized by the rebels.
"Women came out on their balconies shouting with
joy, and children... did the same. I discovered that
our friendship was superficial."
But Nasrallah's sister, Antoinette, refused to
condemn everyone.
"There are refugees from Harasta and Douma [in the
suburbs of Damascus] that we have taken in, and
they are spreading the poison of hatred, especially
among the younger generation," she said.
The most tragic story was that of Rasha, who
recounted how the jihadists had seized her fiance
Atef, who belonged to the town's militia, and brutally
murdered him.
"I rang his mobile phone and one of them answered,"
she said.
"Good morning, Rash rush," the voice said, using her
nickname. "We are from the Free Syrian Army. Do
you know your fiance was a member of the shabiha
[pro-regime militia] who was carrying weapons, and
we have slit his throat."
The man told her Atef had been given the option of
converting to Islam, but had refused.
"Jesus didn't come to save him," he taunted.
