I stay in Kano. Can u work in chicken republic

I'm a graduate from one of the south west university in Nigeria, and i spend all my life in Lagos state , and also a yoruba guy from Lagos State.

But due to the rising and unavailability of good jobs around, i have been thinking of moving over to the North for greener pasture, i want to leave my comfort zone.

So, two states are on my mind, plateau state or gombe.

I really want input of individuals on this issues:

Cost of living

Availability of jobs

Security

Acceptability of strangers, and many more.


Which state do you guys think is ok, I'm really in need of a good job.

I will really appreciate this topic to be in frontpage so as to reach wider audience.

Someone like me now that stay in Kaduna and have to go to Ilorin frequently, there are only two routes, either I go through birnin gwari and enter Niger or I pass through Kaduna abuja express and follow okene, now , the two routes are ladened with kidnappers and robbers, how I go take do naa, and my power never reach to afford flight,!! Lord into your hands I commit my life!!

Most vexhiles don't pass birnin gwari again oo since 2017. They passed inside Niger town. Dont dare pass birnin gwari oooo

it was under ministry of Interior (Internal Affairs) prior to renaming to nimc and being moved to Presidency

It is so irritating telling pple how we live with electricity here, it is so annoying and even sometimes I asked myself if we are living at the back of the world. For the past 15years now, it has been one day on and one day off. The most terrible thing is that, that one day on might not be more than six hours light on. I wonder y d govt and the pple of my area are so wicked like that, I hate living here as I believe no drastic solution has been taking to cushion the effect....I live in Offa Kwara State.

The situation of electricity in kwara state is bad. Ilorin to be precise. Even when all other states are enjoying we are still complaining. The wind of change never reach here ABEG

While people were complaining about light in vgc i never understood it until on sat the light went off and they sent us messages that it was faulty. They restored it on sunday evening. Now its gone again i hope it doesnt take a day because for two years now i dont have a gen constant light. But I'm not complaining cos the weather is cool

It's not been good in my side also...we used to enjoy quite steady light all these years ooooo but it got so bad recently, we had to go and buy gen because the light became unpredictable and my foodstuff in the refrigerator was getting spoilt anyhow.
