Christianity Etc › Re: Abrogated Verses In The Quran. Question For Muslims. by mustymatic(m): 10:30am On Oct 08, 2016 |
malvisguy212: There are big difference between made and form, The term "made" is translated from Hebrew word # 6212, which basically means "to PREPERE,"and the word "formed" is translated from Hebrew word #3335, which means "to form, FASHION, frame." Example :
Isaiah 45:18, "For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that FORMED the earth AND MADE it;"
In other words, God "prepared" every living thing in Genesis 1, but did not actually bring it into physical form until Genesis 2!
Genesis 2:4-5, "This is the book of the generation of heaven and earth, when they were MADE, in the day in which the LORD God MADE the heaven and the earth, and every herb of the field BEFORE it was in the earth [before it was formed], and all the grass of the field BEFORE IT SPRANG UP [before it was formed], for God had not rained on the earth, AND THEIR WAS NOT A MAN TO CULTIVATE IT [why was there not a man to cultivate it? Because no man was yet formed!]. "
"Not a man to cultivate it" this imply the herb and animal were MADE before man, But when we come to the "forming" of them, we see that, at Genesis 2:7, Adam was "formed" before the animals, then, at Genesis 2:19, the animals were "formed." Then, at Genesis 2:20, Adam named the animals. And lastly, at Genesis 1:22, Eve was "formed" from Adam's rib.
Now, back to topic, if you cannot answer my question, why are you a muslim ? All this your form and prepare is utter nonsense When your mother prepares food it means she makes it I'll make it snappy [b] Abrogation (Arabic Naskh) is a topic that is dealt with in the Sciences of the Qur’an. Abrogation is defined as the lifting of a shari`ah ruling because of the evidence of a later shari`ah ruling. Abrogation plays an essential role in the history of religion in the sense that the shari`ah brought by our Prophet Muhammad (Allah bless him and grant him peace) abrogated all previous shari`ahs. But there is also abrogation within Islam as well, when previous rulings are nullified by rulings that come later. A noteworthy example of this is the gradual prohibition of wine. It was first revealed in the Qur’an the prohibition of preforming the prayer while intoxicated: “O you who have believed! Do not approach the prayer while you are intoxicated…” (al-Nisa’, 43). Later, the ruling of this verse was abrogated by a complete prohibition of wine altogether: “O you who have believed! Wine and gambling . . . are of Satan’s handwork, so shun them so that you may be successful. Satan wants but to place between you enmity and hatred with wine and gambling and hinder you from the remembrance of Allah and from the prayer. Will you not then abstain?” (al-Ma’ida, 90-91) Among the wisdoms of abrogation was bringing ease by introducing rulings that were appropriate for the different states of the Muslims during the times of revelation. When the Prophet (Allah bless him and grant him peace) first brought the religion, it was not easy for people to leave their previous beliefs and traditions. Allah sent the guidance and the rulings step-by-step, with His divine care and concern, gradually purifying and raising the ummah until the religion was complete [/b] The new testament as the christians claim is the perfect example of abrogation of the old |

plappville: God created man and woman, He can use whoever He wants to use. The bible has numerous stories about women used by God for his work and also to help spread the Gospel. In Judges 4-5 Deborah a faithful prophetess was used by God to judge/rule Israel. God is able to use whoever he wants. He does not appoint leaders by using human criteria. When Samuel considered Eliab a suitable successor to King Saul, God corrected Samuel’s limited perception:
“Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him.
The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart” (1 Samuel 16:7).
You have no knowledge of what Paul was all about. You are just trying to stop me from exposing islam. But you have failed again.. LoL. |

plappville: Haha. keep falling it till now.. I know you will never get the message in your islamic head.
But i will still clear you even if you reject it.
Like i said before. If Paul prohibition was a permanent one, then he wouldnt talk about women praying and prophesying. Paul has already indicated that women can pray and prophesy in church check chapter 11, and a worship service includes two or three people prophesying in turn (14:29-32). Praying and prophesying was for men and women.
This means that it is permissible for women to have formal speaking roles in the church. Paul was apparently forbidding some other type of speech. Just as he did not allow tongue-speakers or prophets to speak out of turn, he did not want women to speak out of turn, saying things in such a way that they were breaking social customs about what is appropriate.
Take it or leave it, Paul did not silent the Corinthian women completely. The silence he commanded for the women was a temporary silence, just as it was for prophets and tongues-speakers. The goal of all these commands was an orderly worship service at that particular time. Man woman are all equal in the sight of God. Stop your twisting by reading the bible literally. I'm gonna need the holy evil spirit for this one

plappville: You are a clown. To you, the word Silent should also means. A woman should not pray or prophesies in the Church. By the way, This is a public forum. The OP asked a question? Or Did the bible say women should not ask questions? Failed fellow Yes it does... the following verses are from the Bible, you are not allowed to ask questions as your law says (if you have any) Cor 14: 34-35 Women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the law says. If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church. plappville: You are the failed fellow. U have no knowledge of that verse. Go and study the quran ciao.. You lack understanding or you're just plain empty...the Bible clearly prohibits women to teach, if you can overlook this one how will you ever understand the quran. 1 Timothy 2:12 I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent. Paul says that women should not teach men. She must remain in silence to learn from men but not teach them. I learned that you are a woman. You are not christ like. Lets see what Islam says about women being able to teach men... Saheeh Bukhari Volume 6, Book 61, Number 545: Narrated 'Uthman: The Prophet said, "The best among you (Muslims) are those who learn the Qur'an and teach it." This hadith is general and goes to all Muslims (male or female). It has no restrictions on women being able to teach men. As a matter of fact one of the Prophet wives used to teach men... |

shadeyinka: It is far easier to group Christians into their various sects and then say which sect believe in what instead of a blanket generalisation.
Its just like saying some Muslims believes suicide in the course of jihad is OK, some say suicide is not OK, some say jihad is just a struggle while some say jihad must be with the sword.
You can see that this my generalisation above is not right. It is subjective There's nowhere you can find suicide is allowed, only prohibition, whoever does that is hellbound. on the other hand, christians use the bible, it has all. |

shadeyinka: Sorry, it was the question you asked that betrayed you.
If you had stopped with the first question, it would have been wisdom asking questions.
..but your second question betrayed your ignorance in the sense that you are presenting a multiple choice question of which one option should be true.
Example: Your question is like asking " Who is the President of Nigeria?". Is it president or Buhari or Mohammadu or Aisha?
A question like this you will agree makes no sense.
I apologize for being hard/harsh on your post, its not in my nature. I hope you have forgiven me? truthmans2012: Firstly, we do not have god but God. Your Quran recognizes the God of the Bible as God and not god. Understand?
There are dispensations in the Bible. The Old Testament is the dispensation of the Father, while the New Testament when Jesus was alive in the physical is the dispensation of the Son and now is the dispensation of the Holy Spirit. Jesus said if he didn't go the Holy Spirit would not come, which means one came to replace the other.
Remember the Book of Genesis was written many years before Jesus came yet, we are told in Genesis that God said "Let's Us create man in our own image and after Our likeness . Doesn't this suggest anything to you? No it doesn't...and FYI the Quran doesn't recognise the Bible...hell even Jesus didn't know about it You just denied the god of the Bible SMH |
