Mcfemad: How it went? I had a strong feeling to visit my mum on a weekend and we agreed to go Fri, 20th July. Wife, mum and my siblings tallked till 1am and I was concerned when she woke up around 6am to say she has headache, feeling nausea and weak. "I can't get my self", she told me. We felt it was a sign of malaria and planned getting Coartem before she said there's no need as she's now feeling better. (She had gone to the toilet earlier where she passed out watery faeces) She later vomitted and mum suggested we go to the hospital, she didn't like the idea as she had obviously got better.

afrobaby: @mutty.babe, at this stage, I think the best thing is to stop worrying, when one is close to delivery, all you need do is keep your mind at rest.
My dear, I will accept CS over and over again if that is what God says, afterall, it is God that bestowed the gift of operation on doctors.
If on the day of delivery, your doctor mentions CS, abeg, accept o, the most important thing is to have your babies alive and in good health,
God will grant you safe delivery and you will share your testimony soon

dominique: Madam, you're still not getting it. Position of the foetus is not the only factor that brings about a caeserian section. Size of the baby as well as position of the placenta also matter. What you should be praying for is to have a safe delivery with zero complications rather than the direction the baby is facing.

lullabi: yes dear, its my first baby, its better to be safe than sorry, though i read tthat waking on a fours round the house and swimming coud turn the baby, but i no get strength for that one.

lullabi: my dear, fear not, i had a cs and was awake throughout the procedure, my baby gir was breech too and i had to do the cs at 37weeks, so just isten to ur doc, pray and eave the rest to God- u can opt 4 an epidura too

debrief08: My Sister sorry for my harsh comments, I understand what you mean.
Let me tell you, the cases of CS where lives are lost are cases when it is done as an emergency, mostly when the mothers have been told earlier and reject it and after prolonged labour CS becomes the option by then they have lost so much blood and may loose their lives, or the baby has already grown tired and died in the process.
Also in cases where the mother didn't attend antenatal and was not monitoring hers and babys condition. These are mostly the cases where the person dies.
But for straight forward and first option CS it normally takes less than an hour.
Calm down, anything is posible, prepare your mind and stay calm.
