The National Aeronautics and Space Administration, an independent agency of the US has given a warning that there are five asteroids currently in earth's trajectory and will flyby earth as it passes earth's orbit.

The space rock will cross through the empty space between earth and moon at a close of 71,805km. Owing to the fact that the distance between earth and moon is 384,399km, this is really a scary and close call.

Asteroid hunters at NASA's Center for Near Earth Object Studies has warned that the oncoming asteroid called ASTEROID 2011 ES4 is going to fly very close to earth during its flyby on 1st September at around 10:49am EDT or 3:49pm BST.

Should the asteroid go of course, it's impart on earth will be catastrophic on a large scale level, but it wouldn't end life on earth as it did in the past.

For emphasis, the Chelyabinsk meteor of February 18, 2013 released an energy charge which was 33 times larger than the atomic bomb blast dropped on Hiroshima.

Meanwhile, some asteroids will flyby earth at a safe distance today, tomorrow (Tuesday), Thursday and Friday.
