Lol...not at all, living standard is kinda high in SA. Plus if ure serious minded you'll know most of these funds will go with your research.

The competition for funding is always high...but places my own university...it's automatic once you're a postgraduate student registered. I get N90,000 per month for my monthly busary and N750,000 for my project itself...which is handled by my supervisor. My point is ...there re other schools you need to apply to.

Wow! What uni are you? My friend in Stellenbosch Uni had a fully-funded PhD scholarship.

Lol...there is a lot of misconceptions about this xenophobic issue. Anyways the answer is NO. I'm just saying if you're looking at spending almost nothing and getting same standard of Education you get in Europe...You can try. I graduated from Coventry UK, I see no difference.

Yes...not all, I'm a student in South African presently and I don't pay a dime. Plus we (international) students get monthly allowance.

If you're looking at spending almost nothing for ur postgraduate ...I'll advise you look at South africa. Tuition free and you get busary too.
