24SEVEN: You are already sounding extra shallow to claim parts of Imo state make up Onitsha metro area. Same way parts of Ogun make up Lagos metro area and parts of Nassarawa make up Abuja metro areas. Place like PH, Aba, Ibadan do not have urban sprawl like Onitsha. Guy, grow up. State has nothing to do with Urban sprawl. Metroplolitan area are measured by population cluster, nothing concern state boundaries. Thank God it's Imo state not anywhere in South south before you bring your south south madness into it |

Putinofrussia: The more reason why it is the politicians that are greatly impacting the stats. Politicians from the 36 states travel multiple times to and fro Abuja with the slightest excuses. They do this mainly by plane. If it were solely due to the middle class,Lagos state has the highest number of middle class in Nigeria more than any other state. But you claimed that every big politician from other regions lives in Lagos. E be like say they no longer live in Lagos but now travelling to Abuja from their states |

24SEVEN: The joke is on you. Go to Orlu in Imo state or even go to Ihiala or Ekwulobia and tell them that they are part of Onitsha and see their response.
If Google tells you you're now from Kogi state, you will say yes because Google said so? Even Nkpor, Obosi etc are officially not Onitsha. We are talking about metropolitan area, get the difference. This was how Tokyo was formed. Tokyo is just a small town but greater Tokyo metro is 40million and made up of different towns that fused tyogether due to economic expansion. burp18: It's laughable because this comparison is dumb. Anambra with it's paltry meagre population still managed to find itself in list of states pushing drug. We can make an exemption for Kano and Bauchi states because of their high population. But anambra with it's meagre population? This only means one in every 5 person from Anambra is a drug addict
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Nigerian_states_by_population Onitsha metropolitan area alone 7 million. Even from your own data, Ondo is less populated than Anambra yet ranked higher in drug

AuschwitzPrefec: Olodo, these are arrests carried out within Nigeria and involve local drug dealers.
In Katsina and Kano, your brethren are the bulk of those arrests just as they account for 98% of intercepted smugglers at border points.
Wait for Marwa to publish names and state of origin of those arrested and see how you guys are still number 1.
This is why I am happy Marwa insisted that state and LGA of arrested drug peddlers and smugglers be included in their mug shots. Lol, to fabricate consolation no de hard una |

In that map you included, you clearly added all towns and villages in Anambra and also included Imo state as Onitsha.
I have used the light green colour to indicate Imo state boundary for you.

Port harcourt metropolitan area covers an area of 1,900 km2 (700 sq mi).
So where's the 10x bigger coming from? Where is your source? See Google satellite pictures. But even in your own data, Onitsha is still greater. Onitsha metro is even larger than Lagos by landmass

proeast: Lol, the bigots thought that Lagos has arrived and nothing can shake it again, so they started threatening other Nigerians. Unfortunately for them, nothing is static because human existence is dynamic in nature.
If Warri people were told in the 1980's that their once economically vibrant city would today be reduced to a shanty town were Keke riders and POS operators are the big boys, they won't believe it.
If Jos people were told that their city with nice climate and beautiful scenery where foreigners and Nigerians rush to, will today become almost forgotten, they will never believe it.
Same will happen to Lagos if the bigots are not stopped. Already, the property sector in Lagos has been hit badly. If you doubt me, ask estate developers or property agents in Lagos.
Airport traffic also shows that Abuja that is less than a quarter of population of Lagos has overtaken Lagos! Abuja that is far from reaching its peak! Compared to Lagos that is nearing saturation point. Then you will see that Lagos is already declining!
They should continue with their ronu battle cry, body go soon tell them! They think these things happen overnight, they don't know it happens gradually without anybody noticing till it's too late. |

Please tell us
Also did you read the data for 2018 2019
Did you comprehend it? Obviously not
Finally what do the figures for 2022 show?
In summary The domestic flights to Abuja were higher in 2021. Not 2019 or 2018
International flights from/to Lagos were more throughout Read and comprehend This is 2019 data when Abuja overtook Lagos in domestic flight and has maintained the lead since then

You hate country basis...
You hate state basis...
You just want to be shielded by Lagos, the former Nigeria capital as other part of SW has absolutely nothing to show.
Why didn't you use Ibadan airport...? Always hiding behind Lagos.
Other regional HQs, like Enugu and Kaduna are pulling their weights except the one of SW They want to "Ibadanize" Lagos but we no gree |

Aside Lagos and Abuja, where else do we have huge government investment in infrastructures.
Stop crying unnecessarily. All the places you mentioned are state capitals except Warri which is nothing to write home about. All those state capitals can't compare with Aba and Onitsha in terms of economic activities and urban built up
