The Calabar Carnival alone boost traffic to Calabar. and also don't forget there are some companies in Calabar like Lafarge ,Dangote ,etc. and the international conference center ,Obudu cattle ranch and other tourist places. Calabar Airport gets more passengers in December alone than Owerri Airport gets in 6 months . Also, Enugu has the most passengers in South east , most people from Anambra,Ebonyi and Enugu use Enugu Airport, not Owerri airport. Why do you think Akwa Ibom Air began flying Calabar -Abuja,Lagos -Calabar. that is because Uyo airports does not get a lot of traffic they are going where the money is . Mostly politicians and their family use Uyo Airport , same with Owerri Airport. most visitors to Owerri drive from port harcourt and other south east states . Owerri has maintained 4th for long and will soon dethroned PH and take 3rd. |

Ebubu7: who first insulted Ebonyi state? The Ebonyi man or the Anambra man? The earlier you realize Anambra is the problem of SE the better. They’re also the ones causing problem in Lagos between them and their host. All of SE take the fall for it. Check this thread see where he first insulted Ebonyi, despite his state having enough things to insult with from insecurity to dearth of infrastructure. I'm from Enugu State. Ni discovered you are always anti Igbo despite claiming Ebonyi. You opened your dirty mouth to say Igbos have no professionals. Why are you crying now. Nwa Abakeleke |

FreeStuffsNG: You are right only that in this case you failed to realise that these steps are leading to freeing up funds from welfare beneficiaries in all of us. When you open your mouth to lament why there's low infrastructures, you are part of those who took the funds away as a beneficiary of these numerous subsidies. Is it not your people that love welfarism more? Igbos have been paying for everything and have the money to pay any time |

ede1: One important question Nigerians are not asking is thus . After removing these subsidies can the government give us both short-term and long-term plans on what to do with all these funds realized from the removal so we can monitor the judicious use of it?
Or they are just creating more funds to be embezzled. Tinubu go just pack the money |
