Goodvibes007: Ps:. The Israelites have told you over and over again that you are not one of them.
The only black people they accept are Ethiopians via the king Solomon's line. That's why it's not uncommon to see Ethiopians amongst the IDF soldiers. Who are "you people". Different people migrated from different places. Those claiming Jewish are less than 1% Igbo population. Their clan well identified. Stop parading Oduduwa story because the Jewish story by Igbos is even more realistic |

Goodvibes007: The Greeks have gods that live in the sky and often fall to the earth too. Christians believe angels fall from the sky too. Story of Noah.
Inferiority complex is what makes some black negro people in a jungle inside Africa to attach themselves to Jews/Arabs Ancestry from the middle East. Greek mythology is now history? Migration happen throughout history. Eri could have come from anywhere but he met people when he arrived Igboland. Please don't be lazy. Give reasonable story of Oduduwa |
Culture › Re: Between Coming From Isreal And Falling From The Sky by MXrep(op): 8:02pm On Oct 24, 2023 |
Thorough research on Eri has led to dicovery of the towns founded by his descendants are stopping the claim that he fathered igbo people. But yorubas have accepted that Oduduwa is the father of all yoruba. Oduduwa lived around 10th century. Yorubas have been existing for thousands of years before Oduduwa |
Culture › Between Coming From Isreal And Falling From The Sky by MXrep(op): 7:54pm On Oct 24, 2023 |
While the story of Eri coming from Isreal is difficult to prove and has been subject to debate for long, why has Oduduwa falling from sky (something practically impossible) become a settled matter and accepted by supposedly sophisticated people? And why are they always the first to mock whenever Eri Jewish connection is discussed? Can they really launch serious research on Oduduwa origin instead of the cheap tales of falling from sky?

mecustika: Ibadan is big city with vast land while nsukka is very small town surrounded by rural villages. Ibadan has big businesses and companies with a large population while nsukka town is a very small place with no big commercial activities nor any company at all. It equally has a very tiny population. The high cost of properties at nsukka is as a result of all the people living in adjoining villages struggling to come up to the small town and the usual Igbo man's greed. Ironically most of these properties are not owned by people living and doing businesses at nsukka, but by outsiders, mostly living abroad or doing businesses in other big cities. More over most of these properties are just used as status symbols because most the houses are unoccupied, as most people living in nsukka can not afford the rents. For me it doesn't make sound economic sense to invest that kind of fund on properties that do not bring any returns. Properties at good location in Ibadan have much more economic value than nsukka. See this. The total land area of Nsukka urban sprawl is larger than Ibadan

Kalvan: I've been perusing the various texts on the precolonial kingdoms that existed on what is called modern-day Nigeria, and I'm surprised to see there are no renowned Igbo monarchs. By renowned, I mean a ruler similar in stature to Oduduwa, Oba Oranmiyan, Alaafin Shango, Oba Ewuare of Benin, Sarki Abdullahi Burja of Kano, Sarki Yaji of Kano. Does anyone have any examples?
Please no tribalism While you were struggling with primitive monarchy igbos have already evolved into advanced democracy. If monarchy is good why was it overthrow all over Europe? Only Britain still keep theirs for ceremonial purpose only. It's the backwards monarchist mentality that keeps Nigeria backwards |
