Politics › Re: Pdp/LP Should Suggest How FG Can Get Money For Projects Without Loans by MXrep: 7:24am On Jul 02, 2023
helinues:
The Nigeria oppositions have been fuming at almost every move by the new administration on how to save government excesses and also generate new income as we are avoiding unnecessary loans.

Without taxation, how then can FG raised money for projects and development of the country?

The Nigeria oppositions should proffer a way on how government can run her business without unnecessary loans. Enough of Wailing
Lol. The only thing yorubas know is loan and tax. Easy money

I shock ooo. Although the loan was facilitated by Okezuo. The only good thing he did for the state. And thank God they lost, this loan would've been shared amongst themselves
Thank you very much, one Ronu terrorist is praising Adesina as if AfDB is his personal property. Does bank give money if you did approach them with good plans?

And to correct your gaffe, Mr acient generation, OBJ facilitated the debt forgiveness in his capacity as the President while Ngozi was sent to sign the neccessary documents as his subordinate. And as soon as OBJ found out that she did a shoddy job during the negotiation, she was immediately demoted to a junior minister-- FACTS!
Lol, yorubas are funny. Buhari failure is now Okonjo Iwaela fault while Alex Otti's success is now credited to Adesina. Jokers

Finished product for who lol 😂.

Those cocoa that are been transported, do they mine them from the ground or is it not through gross scale farming? Farmers invest massive amount in those cocoa fields and they sell their surplus.

Are you equating cocoa to crude oil coz I don’t understand the jargons you’re talking about.

You have chocolates factories in the SW and even Akeredolu built one few years ago. Not all countries consume that raw food, some process and export for foreign earnings and that’s what the farmers are doing.

If it’s easy to just dig cocoa from the ground, why you no dey mine am for under second Niger bridge river?

Lastly, if you want to see indigenous Yoruba companies and firms, just go through this thread to feed your eyes. You’ll see us feature in all sector of production both goods and services.

The major reason there was a drastic reduction from 900,000 passengers in the 4th quarter of last year to 400,000 in the 1st quarter of 2023 was due to insecurity. At some point, force majeure was declared and services was completely shut down for a few months.

AfganWestern and AfganNorthern Lol. You can see how your regions are insecure. SE remains the most secured region

Lol 😂, now foreign investment is now a bad thing according to Shinedu from erosion ravaged land. Hope you know foreign investors only invest in profitable states. No one care about terroristic ridden region like the SE.

Cocoa processing companies are enormous in the SE and most are domiciled in Ondo state. You have their chocolates scattered everywhere.

Just so you know, Cocoa export is the largest share of the Agricultural export out of Nigeria according to NBS and SW contributed majorly to that from those local farmers.

We Yorubas are contributing meaningfully to Nigeria to earn $$ while you in erosion ravaged land couldn’t export anything meaningful rather than turn Nigeria to import ground for fake materials and items.

Mention one export from your region that surpass this Cocoa figure for agricultural export?

NBS data: https://nigerianstat.gov.ng/download/1241297
Export of raw agricultural product is nothing to celebrate. Grow indegenous entrepreneurship to transform them to finished products.
Palm produce that we have in the East this how we transform it to finished products by indegenous industialists

This is awesome! Thank you Norway. Thank you to all those who worked hard to make this happen.

A special post-humous appreciation to Mr Abiola Aderounmu, the brain behind the deal who died during covid 19 while pursuing the success of this deal. It is unfortunate that he is not alive to see this part of his dream come true but his loyal associates never abandoned the vision and dream.

May God bless you all.
Shout out to all the entrepreneurs out there. You are our nation builder and innovators, please don't give up. Your dream will come true too some day if you don't give up.
God bless Nigeria!
Ordinary cocoa that grows in your backyard, you need Norway to process it. Yorubaland is nothing but center for Capital Flight. It's not in every sector that you allow foreigners anyhow. Laziness too much for yorubaland

I said it Weeks back. I didn't economic analysis of those trains and most of Buhari projects... I called them failed projects that are just feel good projects

I went on to show why it's makes no economic sense to use borrowed money to build things like this... I even compared them to cocoa house Ibadan... Beautiful projects to show wealth but have zero economic sustainability

Again I would warn if tinubu should borrow to build infrastructure Nigeria is finished

"Borrow only to provide access to credit for import substitution and export oriented businesses " That's the only way.... That's the only solution
Exactly what Peter Obi has been saying
