AWKA: The Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano on Tuesday 5th February, 2019, swears-in new Board members of the Anambra State Universal Basic Education Board.

Section 198 of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as amended, empowers the Governor of Anambra State, to appoint and swear-in boards and agencies of Government.

His Excellency, in his remarks, reminded the newly appointed members to consolidate and surpass the achievements of their predecessors. He was apt to remind them that, His Government would not hesitate to dissolve the boards or remove any non-performing member.

The newly appointed members are as follows; - Ugbaja Patrick Ejike (Chairman), - Mrs. Vivian Ebele Anyadubalu, - Dr. Peter Ekemezie, - Mrs. Nonye Udegbunam, - Gladys Edewor, - Mrs. Grace Adichie.

Shortly after the swearing-in, the new Board Chairman, Mr. Ugbaja, on behalf of the members, expressed satisfaction for his the Governor's gracious kindness in finding them worthy to serve in his government. He however, promised that, him and his team, would not let down the privilege given to them.

Congratulations to the newly appointed board members.

Okoroawusa was a very poor useless man as at 2011 he contested to govern Imo state. It was Emeka Offor, Ifeanyi Uba that bankrolled his election back then to defeat the incumbent Ohakim. Okoroawusa is saying this now to cover up the massive looting he carried out in Imo state.

The same way Ihedioha was sponsored financially by Arthur Eze, maybe tomorrow he will claim that he had 100b before he contested.

Nigerian Team from St. John's Science & Technical College, Alor that won Bronze Medal at the International Festival of Engineering, Science and Technology which took place in Tunisia paid us a courtesy visit today at Anambra Broadcasting Service.
