RomanceFacebook User Advises Nigerian Ladies To Have Sex For Money by MyBeardGang(op): 5:29pm On Feb 12, 2020
The question of morality in our day to day love and relationship life keeps getting questioned daily, and this is noted in this very controversial post made by a Facebook User, Rapulu S. Oramali, that Nigerians girls should have sex for money when presented the opportunity.

This controversial post has since generated a lot of reactions online. Read the post below:

As a young girl in Nigeria, there may come a time when someone who is insanely rich wants to have sex with you and give you big money. Money enough to start up a life or a business for yourself.

Please I'm advising you, accept this offer. Infact, add different sex positions.

A lot of people will tell you that you are cheapening your body by selling it, they are wrong. Ask them what they are worth now, they that haven't sold their bodies.

In Nigeria, there's only one worth of note: financial worth.

If you are absolutely sure that this person will give you this money and that the act is not against your sexual orientation, have sex with the person and start up your life.

Opportunities like that don't come often. It might look like a demonic opportunity but it's opportunity nonetheless.

People are going to accuse you of making it through bottom power, don't get angry, don't be ashamed, own it up. There are over 3 billion bottoms in the world so it's an honour for yours to be among the few that has a power attached to it.

They will accuse you of being part of the problem with Nigeria, own it too. Nigeria has too many problems, if they solve others and it's only you remaining, then you are just a little problem.

They will tell you that you are pouring sand on people who are working hard and you are cheating meritocracy. Ask them how Buhari is president and osinbajo his deputy. Ask them to give you ten instances where merits and hardwork alone helped a Nigerian. If they give you instances truly, thank them and wish the merit class well.

Remind them that you are not committing any crime according to the laws of Nigeria.

Your only crime is against God and since they are not God, they shouldn't play God.

Take this money and invest in yourself and in a business. A man who sleeps with you today and gives you a million, if you invest the million wisely, he won't sleep with you tomorrow for a million. It's either he tops up or he cannot afford you. At some point, nobody can afford you.

This might look like I'm cheapening you to buyable commodities, it actually is but don't feel sad. Most guys will jump at same offer from a woman. Everyone has a price.

We live in a difficult time. We have to take difficult decisions.

Whatever you have to do that's not a crime, do it to make money.

HealthThe African Black Soap Hack For Growing & Grooming Beards by MyBeardGang(op): 12:42pm On Sep 24, 2019
A month ago, I went visiting a friend at Lekki.

On getting to his house, I stumbled on his wife using a Black mixture to shampoo her hair. My curiosity drove me to inquire whether she wanted to dye her hair since, obviously, the mixture seemed black and I had never seen a black mixture that lathers before. Only for her to tell me she is using the African Black Soap to *shampoo* her hair.

I was surprised. Was there a liquid African black soap for Hair? The ones we know are the DuduOsun, SheaMoisture of this world that works on our skin. I am sure you know about this too.

She went further to burst my bubble. She told me, even her husband uses the African Black Soap Shampoo as his Beard Wash. My eyes popped out of their sockets shocked shocked and I decided to try it my own way, being a beardking. LOL!

Hence, research started.

I got home, decided to check out the friendship and eventual marriage between the African Black Soap and the Beard.

You'll be surprised at what I found about the African Beard Soap for beards:

Unlike the synthetic soaps, you would find at drugstores, the black soap is handmade from plant-based ingredients in Africa.

Produced mainly by women, especially in Nigeria, the common ingredients usually employed to use during the manufacturing of the African Black Soap are ash of African plants (especially from cocoa pods, plantain skin, etc.), shea butter, palm oil, coconut oil, etc.

Is African Black Soap Good for Beards?

I never thought of the African Black Soap for beards. And I dug further into the properties and realized *perfecto*, Our organic African product for the beards of the regular African man.

Without attempting to beat around the bush, the answer to this question is YES. The African Black Soap is good for the beards. Factually, the African Black Soap offers a great deal of importance to the beard.

In other words, this substance is an underrated gold in the business of beard-grooming!

Just in case you want to know the properties of the African Black Soap that makes it suitable:

1. Moisturizer

The African Black Soap is also a beard moisturizer. Recall that when mentioning the ingredients from which this soap is made, Shea Butter was made mention of.

The presence of this Shea Butter in the African Black Soap is what causes it to act as a moisturizer. Fine, Shea Butter is known more for helping in relieving itchiness and all, it as well adds moisture to our beard.

2. It is Anti-inflammatory

The African Black Soap is anti-inflammatory. This is caused by the presence of some essential vitamins in the soap.

Black soaps have been tested and confirmed to be very rich in Vitamins A and E. With these vitamins, the African Black Soap can combat efficiently, free radicals and attacks on the beard. And/or otherwise, attacks on the underlying skin tissues of the beard.

3. Combats Acne

While on the course of mitigating against itchiness, irritation, and all, the black soap also helps in fighting acne.

In other words, while ensuring that the underlying skin of the beard has a balanced level of natural and essential oils in other to stimulate proper beard growth, the African Black Soap helps in repairing damaged skin cells.

4. Safe for All Type of Skin

African Black Soap is good and safe for all type of skin.

Perhaps you possess a sensitive skin or maybe a dry skin, just name the kind of skin, which might be off-point for some kinds of beard washes, then you need not worry any further, as the African Beard Soap suits just every skin type.

This soap is naturally free of fragrance. It is always a win-win situation with the African Black Soap.

There's more to the functions of African Black Soap but I will stop here for now. All Bearded men on Nairaland should note that it is important they do away with the regular soaps they use for washing and shampooing their hair and beards and jump on the Black Soap.

Remember that you need to be careful when using the African Black Soap though it may strip your beards or hair of its oils when you use it frequently, and that is why it is always advised to immediately use a Beard Cream after washing or shampooing your beard/hair.

This is a product that we will soon be making for all bearded men and *bearded men to-be*, as we have decided to go on this journey to creating something different for the African Man.

Away with foreign imported products that do not suit our African Hair. All the ingredients we need for hair grooming are all around us and it is important we leverage African Products for the African man.

Do you need more information on how to grow and groom your beards? Feel free to send me a DM or check out beard grooming issues.

HealthCommon Beard Myths Demystified by MyBeardGang(op): 8:15am On Sep 17, 2019
Here's what we discussed...

He asked, “Hey, Bro! You've grown up to this age, why haven't you grown beards yet, what's the problem?

I answered, “that's something I don't really understand myself...

...what could be the trick behind growing beards? Is it that complicated? Well, I'll follow this up to that.”

He replied saying, “while someone is looking for the tricks for fast beard growth, that person can come across false and incorrect myths.”

*Clicks the pause button*

To proceed, let's disclose to you those myths you would always hear of in your quest to grow beards.

Note that, to demystify these myths, you have to opt-in for the right information about growing beards; else you would only wallow in ignorance despite being educated.

Let's look into some of these myths. Ready? Let's delve in.

1. Your Beards Will Itch Always

If you hear these words from anyone, refuse to believe it because it's false information. Yes, the beard may itch, but the itching does go beyond the early growth stages. Usually, the itching doesn't last for more than a month. After a month, you may still experience itchy beards, but this time caused by beards hair that's too coarse or dry skin.

With proper grooming, you can get rid of such itching. That's the reason why purchasing products such as beard oil or the beard cream is highly essential. Beard oil plays the role of supporting the skin's production of natural oil called sebum. It ensures that the skin and your whiskers are properly hydrated all the time.

A moisturized beard doesn't know what itching is all about. So, while you may observe itching in your beard, note that it doesn't always itch and will not itch if you properly care for it.

2. Shaving Your Beards Would Make it Much

It's a complete NO for this one. Have you been curious about growing beards? Then, you must have come across this particular myth that demands that you shave the whole of your beards for a thicker one to grow. In other words, start all over, and you'll see thicker beards grow.

But, the appropriate thing to say about is nothing but these three words, “forget about it.”

Dermatologists, doctors and beard gurus all have openly debunked this myth in many ways, and here is the real bottom line: shaving only ensures that your beard hair looks thicker. Why?

You should know that your beard follicles are naturally tampered right at the end. When you shave them, you are cutting the thin shaft and exposing the hair's thick part near the skin. All parts of your beards grow at the same rate.

3. You Won't Be Able To Get A Job

Having a beard doesn't disqualify you from getting a job. In today's work environment, there are quite a lot of bearded men, so that makes this one a myth, too. True, some jobs are more friendly for those with beards than for those without beards. Some corporate jobs may have strict guidelines as regards to facial hair.

But, above all, many companies look out for skills and not physical appearance. What speaks louder is your resume. Keep this in mind: before going for a job interview, ensure that your beards are professionally trimmed and shaped.

Make sure that you're looking sharp - from your clothes down to your shoes, and also your haircut.

4. You'll Have A Full Beards In A Week (Or Two)

Back to the growth-phase and that notion which depicts that the beard of every man grows at a completely different rate. Yes, you may think that's a myth, too — but it isn't really one of the myths. We all know of a person who grows beards in a short time — maybe, immediately after shaving. For most men, growing a complete beard takes about two to three months, at least one which is fully developed.

In growing beards, one of the things you should adopt — if you don't have it — is patience. And make sure you stay on course. Doing these will give you your desired result in a short time.

5. A Beard Makes You Look Unattractive

Saying beards look unattractive show that you've ignored the fact that many people actually do find beards a lot more attractive.

According to a study, women find security in guys with beards. They believe that guys with beards will be able to protect their children. And to add, they find guys with beards more attractive.

Now we've known about five of the myths you always hear, as long as getting the desired type of beards is concerned, let's move into telling you a few things you should do to help you demystify the myths listed above.

How to Demystify the Beard Myths

1. Stop Looking In The Mirror

With all the issue involved in growing beards, the more you stare at your beard in the mirror, the more you judge your goal around having a perfect beard. And hitting perfection with your beard is something that's out of your control. By always judging your beards, you're only discouraging and bringing yourself down. So, while you grow beards, don't look at the mirror.

2. Quit Picking At It

Yes, you have to pick at your beards for the morning grooming, and you can't control the urge to pick at your beards while being lost in deep thought or meditation — but you should still try your possible best to keep your hand away from your beards.

3. Clean It Up

It's said that a clean beard is also a fuller beard. Just like the hair on your head, if you keep it clean, it'll surely appear much fuller than if you allow it become wholly dried out or too oily. To achieve a decent beard, you can go for products such as a good beard wash and softener. They help to keep your beard clean without you torching it.

4. To speed up your beard growth, you need extra help

You may decide to speed up the rate at which your beard grows by either using a beard booster or a beard cream created specifically for fast growth.

Anything other than this, your beard would only grow at the expected rate which your body enables.

The World Beard day 2019 fell on Saturday 7th September 2019, however, was celebrated on Sunday, 8th September by Jameson Nigeria in collaboration with @fomo.lagos at the PatioLagos, Lekki Phase1, Lagos, Nigeria.

Jameson Nigeria has recently called out men to join in the celebration of the imminent World Beard Day 2019. They partnered with popular photographer, Emmanuel Oyeleke and Konbini Africa to display bearded men through a variety of visual content in an atmosphere of food, games and the best music.

You have a point. Truth is not everyone can grow beards, but a lot of people do not even know they can grow.

Some people will wait for beards to sprout on their faces before they conclude. What if the beards do not come out? A little consultation with a hair care professional can help determine if you can grow beards or not.
Health5 Shocking Things You Don't Know About Growing Beards by MyBeardGang(op): 2:42pm On Sep 10, 2019
A lot of people prefer picking the blessing of having beards to any material item - just to show you how desperate people can be about growing beards. In this article, I'll point out the things guys without beards don't know.

If you have not grown a single beard in your life before, there's quite a lot of things that are involved in it which you need to know about. Beard consists of numerous secrets — yes! Secret; I'm not trying to be figurative about that statement.

Here are a couple of things guys without beards don't know:

Ready? Let's ride.

Things Guys Without Beards Don't Know

About two years ago, I was discussing with one of my childhood friends with whom I saw at a shopping mall.

Just so we could comfortably discuss, we had to look for a place to sit.

In the middle of the conversation, I was forced to ask him this:

“How have you been with your girlfriend?”

Without him going back and forth, he said, “I don't have a girlfriend right now; the funny part is, one looked straight to my face and said that I'm not her mate - because I don't even have a beard.

...I'm becoming desperate about growing beards.

...my friend, this thing is gradually killing my self-confidence.”

Mark that word “Self-Confidence.” So, guys are not aware of the fact that growing beards can, in a drastic measure, increase the rate of their self-confidence — one of the important things guys without beards don't know and should know.

That brings us to the number one of the Things Guys Without Beards Don't Know.

Ready to know about them? Let's hit it.

1. Builds Your Self-Confidence

Men who are bold and have more confidence in themselves usually tend to be more successful in every aspect of their lives. According to Jebiga, beard makes a man have a sense of confidence. And it becomes noticeable to everyone around him. Having beards gives a man a sense of power, too.

Let's even think about it for a minute. Why would a girl ask a guy such question?

Well, one shouldn't blame the girl, because, without beards, a 30-year-old man can look 21. So, it's essential that the man should sort out for possible ways through which he can grow beards within a short period of time.

Instead of the girl asking, “Am I your mate,” it changes to: “you're the kind of guy I have been praying for; I love older guys...”

Whereas if you check very well, she might be his senior.

A major benefit of growing beards can be squeezed out from the short story I told.

Therefore, you should know that taking the decision that you want to start growing beards is another way for a man to set for himself a higher standard beneficial to his person. And with such decision of growing beards, he's likely to become more confident and upbeat.

Let's move to other areas.

2. Blocks UV Rays

Extensive scientific research has disclosed that thick beards have the ability to prevent the sun's UV rays from the skin. Beards don't only prevent your skin from the UV rays of the sun, they also keep cancer away from your skin.

3. Shaving Gives You Acne

If you have grown a few beards, then it's not incorrect to say that you have a really smooth skin beneath the facial hair. According to ThoughtCatalogue, shaving your face gives the bacteria that causes acne to spread. This simply means that healthily growing your beards and maintaining it properly improves the health of the skin on your face.

4. Keeping Beards can mean your romance life is amazing

This number got you wondering, right? You're already asking yourself, “how exactly can keeping beards be related to a great romance life?” Well, that's why this article is for you.

According to a book named The Dependent Gene, when one indulges in sex more often, the secretion of testosterone increases. And this is likely to impact to beard growth too. Because the more the testosterone level in you, the higher the possibility of beard sprouting on your face.

The telegram writes: "Facial hair, or beardedness, is a powerful sociosexual signal, and an obvious biological marker of sexual maturity."

5. Beards Can Assist Those With Asthma

Similar to the prevention of throat disease, beards effectively provide another barrier between your body — skin — and toxic exposures. "If you have a reactive airway condition just like asthma, [a beard provides] an additional filter before [toxins] enter your lungs,"

One of the things that indicate maturity is the presence of beards; but even though you don't have beards, you can still grow beards without hassle.

Keep Bearding!

HealthWorld Beard Day: All You Need To Know by MyBeardGang(op): 9:18am On Sep 07, 2019
Today is the World Beard Day 2019 and I am excited to share this with all my Beard'ren on Nairaland and also all aspiring Beard'ren who are in the process of becoming a BeardKing.

The World Beard Day holds every first Saturday in September and the World Beard Day for 2019 is TODAY, September 7, 2019. It is a time around the world when bearded men celebrate themselves and what they stand for.

Bearded men are known to be people with charisma, courage to challenge the status quo or the stigma attached to growing beards in some part of the world and likewise promote the art of beard growing, connect with individual e.t.c.

So let's briefly look into what world beard day is all about and how to get started:

Let's quickly look into the history of the World Beard Day

World beard day started when a group of anonymous bearded men organized an event to honor the tradition of Scandinavian until it caught the attention of the international audience.

Other sources have it that the exact origin of world beard is unknown, there is the only evidence of Danish Vikings dedicating a special day to the celebration of bearded men as far back 800 AD. Back in those days, there is no specific date to honor the beard, but we have multiple celebrations throughout the world. Some of the celebrations are crazy to talk about.

Let's take for example, Donskborg, where people without beards are banished into a nearby forest to for 24 hours.

Who is saying the truth here? Nobody can say, as history can be subjected to a series of manipulations to suit each man's agenda.

Who is the Organizer of World Beard Day 2019

It is a day where bearded people from anywhere around the world come together to celebrate beard. The organizers for each country vary. However, for Nigeria, the popular Jameson Irish Whisky brand will be hosting Bearded men to a gathering of good food and whiskey in Lagos.

Last August, they announced that world beard day will take place and that the brand will be doing something to celebrate it.

How World Beard Day is Celebrated?

Public events involve contest or display of bearded prowess among attendants. Music shows and special food are not always far from there. You will see a lot of amazing activities where attendants paint their faces to mimic different beard style.

Private events are made up of activities where bearded brothers engage in masculine activities. It is usually in two categories. Constructive ones are building of the bearded human pyramid and destructive ones such as the building of bonfire.

The 2019 World Beard Day in Nigeria will be celebrated at Lekki in Lagos with complimentary Cocktails for all Bearded Men and their friends, on the 8th of September 2019. Where will you be?

You can also use that as an opportunity to catch up with me on growing and grooming your facial hair.

Happy World Beard Day 2019!

Fashion is everywhere bro, that's what you see grooming beards as. Which is perfectly fine.

To us, we see it as a style. A lot of people have been grooming their beards before it became a *trend* thing like you said. Do you even know the number of Nigerians grooming their beards before it became trendy?

This "beard gang" movement is nothing but a trend that will pass.Unfortunately, many men following this trend don't have slim faces that will make the look standout on them. Many of their faces are fat/chubby which makes them look "roguish" and unkempt
I disagree Sir.

It is not just only a movement, we also try as much as possible to evolve.

The real question is, why are men not grooming their hair, like women? TheBeardgang movement goes beyond the beards but the facial hair in totality.

The essence is to build a generation of millenials that will not only take care of the hair on their head, but also their facial hair.

Why not just leave the beauty? Let it grow as God made it to be.
