@ all I can tell you that the usb 3g modem can work on your 4930l` all u need to do is to input your isp apn settings like you do on the modem eg web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net password and user name should be web web do the same for other networks using their respective settings. I have done it and it works u can even surf the internet with it however its performance is qui

no grts gambia is only available in nigeria via cband, there is no way u can get it on ku band , hope it answers ur question.

make sure your amos is hitting close to 70 %

ok using multitv as a reference point ,input the freq of ur desired sat ie amos or w3c, then keep adjusting ur dish upwards and voila w3c wld appear.

@xpset let me clarify you, arriyadia is both on nilesat and eutelsat 7 deg west, also we have what we call nwa beam ie north and west africa and mena ie middle east and north africa, now arriyadia on nwa beam is als tnt and it shows epl,but as at yester day the the channel was not active

@dolpaz arriyadia is on eutelsat 7deg west on nwa beam currently there are abt 7 or 5 channels on snrt package but with no video and audio

my brother rdv is on eutelsat 16a @ 16 deg east, it is above multitv which is abt 28 deg east

@esekem if u ve been able to track multitv and dstv then amos 5 wld be a piece of cake, the sat is abve dstv and multitv,but u wld need to move ur dish a bit to the right of both sat, when u are done u wld be suprised that u have 2 sat in one , @all, on the capital one cup ,i dont really known the modalities but am sure we wld not be able to watch most games, cld u believe that the chelsea match was not even shown on their club channel chelsea tv,,but rest asurred the man utd and l/pool match wld be available today, provided u are an active subscriber on the paytv networks

@onome, your info is wrong, what they have at that time is a replay of a dutch league match btw ado den haag vs ajax, even sky sports uk does not have the chelsea game on their programme schedule, pls do not mislead others.

Hitv failed to take a very good advantage it had over its competition and its competitions are now capitalising on its weaknesses to succed. One of hitvs weakness is that they almost built their platform on football such that when u dont have a live game to watch other programmes would not serve as a substitute. Take a look at Mytv. It does not show live matches of the biggest leagues in the world and yet its customer base is huge , u can also relax and enjoy other programmes outside sports most especially it is affordable @ 2500 likewise dstv family and Access. Hitv also has this issue of packaging their content, when they had exclusive laliga rights i hated them 4 it cause d pic quality was poor st no audio and they made it less interesting, but now go and watch a laliga match on dstv or aljazeera well packaged and very soon premier league might loose its flavour in nigeria due to hitv. Lastly hitv is over protecting its content rights while others are allowing more subscribes into their network

hi guys u are doing good job here and infact it is affecting peoples life positively, i have various free to birds as well but i have one question to ask , is it possible to use a dstv card that is meant for the rest of africa here in Nigeria cause i would like to kill two birds at the same time thank you

Ha @micros men u are saying the truth , recently i paid my cousin a visit in owerri and to my suprise i saw 3 aljazeera and 2 showtime channels on ctl's bouquets and they are gearing up for the new season, this guys are not scared ooo are the joking or what how can they infringe on someones exclusivity, i dont think the managers are in their right state of mind or do the want the company to be sealed off. For the record hitv has the exclusive right to both epl and uefa champions league in Nigeria while in the middle east it is by showtime and aljazeera respectively period. Pls sb shld give me the ph no of ctl's owner his managers wan finish him, or wait a min, i suspect that there might be an arrangement btw the 2 companies if there is good news to people in the east, bad news to soccer centres across the nation, but if there is no such thing , i spell DOOM FOR CTL

remember what happened to cmtv in i think cross river or akwa ibom or bayelsa , i cant say for sure, but they had a contract with hitv and for some reasons they overstepped their boundaries, hitv is not ready to joke with their tv media rights, and if Ctl do not have the right to broad cast the leagues then it is bad news for the subscribers and a serious issue for the company especially, cause NCC will get at them , but it would be a wise thing if ctl could at least have an arrangement with Hitv . They blew their opportunity when the had an overwhelming control of the pay tv services in Nigeria Thanks to their directors who made terrible decisions in the past and are still making them up till today. i love ctl and i used to be a subscriber and now i have hitv as well, they are both indigenous companies i pray they grow

Need i remind you that pay tv is a buisness and the motive behind every buisness enterprise is to maximise profit, and if hitv believes that the most effective method to communicate with its audience is by airing different programme highlites on their various channels, i believe it reserves the right to do so. If u have ever watched showsports u would be suprised to see show movie showcomedy or showcinema programme highlites on their sports channels, the idea behind this is to intimate people on their various packages . Pay tv is a capital intensive and competitive buisness that requires sustainance for its survival (GTV and setanta) hence The high cost of subscription. I think it is time you stop criticsizing hitv, we have various Dth pay tv companies in nigeria , you can go for the one that suites ur interests , pls stop talking down on hitv over nothing.
