Do you use an Airtel line? Does it browse fast on normal data?
If no, then they probably have terrible network in that area.

I have tested it this night to confirm what the network is but it's still poor

If you have any line of sight of any mast, try positioning it towards it to see if your speed improves.

Please o, is this thing truly unlimited? Or does it have the Fair Usage Policy? Because I think mine is capped at 1TB. Since yesterday, my network has been annoyingly slow. It has been running at 200kb/s since morning till today.

Constantly attacking and referring to anyone with a differing opinion as a marketer wouldn’t elevate you.

I don’t think I’m ever letting go of my X25 pro. It think this is one of the best and greatest routers Airtel has ever launched.

And the icing on the cake is I’ve had mine unlocked and can use all network.

hold onto it o! The main reason I bought my current router was because it made no sense spending that much for a 5G router while subscribing for 20/50mbps

MTN has had a Fibre broadband service for quite a while now but is now quickly expanding its coverage. I looked into it at the start of the year, and was happy to see them finally begin rollout in my estate months ago.

I also use the hertz6. I usually get 20mbps but for the past 2 weeks, sometimes it goes as low as 500kbps. I can't stream anything but YouTube on 360p

The past 2 weeks has really been terrible, it takes forever to load pictures on my phone and some sites don’t even load pictures on my laptop. This ODU should definitely improve your speed.
I am weighing my options between FibreX and this at the end of the month.

I am thinking of getting this new odu router. Tho I already have an airtel router but recently network has been bad. High ping and latency which makes streaming problematic.. Will h getting the odu solve these issues for me

From the experiences of people here, you’re likely to see improvements.
I use the hertz6 router and on average I get 5mbps and below constantly, it goes up to 10mbps occasionally.
Yesterday people complained of experiencing bad network which was 15mbps, which to me would be great network. This alone indicates to me that I am going to have a better network when I eventually move to the ODU router.

Saw them laying the fibre cables on my street, I just wonder how long it’ll take them to test and go live.

Went on their website only to see that they’ve completely removed the available locations around me and replaced it with streets in Lagos , I guess they’re working on updates.

When I am on my Airtel WiFi, it doesn’t load certain images on a course I am taking. I didn’t even realize until recently when I made use of my Mtn WiFi.

Just made my findings and it was NAMA that got 200% FAAN got about 25%.
NAMA is now approximately 460k +/-

I tried this POE i used for my former router that has an ODU just like this Airtel, but i was surprised it couldn't power the radio, cos the indicator was just red. What can we use as power bank ?

Was the selector in the 15v or 24v when you tried it?

That’s the antenna, and there are only 2variant which are identified by the chipset used.

I don’t have any close one making use of it, but by month end my neighbor and I(still weighing my options) may get it.

I thought one would see the sim when it's being registered. But you can check on the sides of the outdoor unit if there is a removable Sim card.

If you search “g5f” on YouTube, you’d see that there’s provision for sim, it’s just covered.
