It doesn’t load images and logos in some websites and environments.

If you have the connect even today you you can get in....and they've staff quarters that is not so bad
What’s their current remuneration? You can give the range if you don’t want to mention the exact figure

The highlighted on the screenshot is for those who claim MTN FibreX is not susceptible to vandalism. This is coming from the Chief Broadband Officer of MTN himself.

FibreX doesn't just appear in your estate. There are miles-long laid cables that lead to your estate, eventually connected to poles in your estate.
True. The head of NCC was recently praising ONSA for arresting/disbanding some cartel destroying Fibre lines.

let him turn on 5G Optimization in the router settings.
IYGEAL:
You mean ODU or the ZLT X25?

X25 has an option where you chose 5G optimization or something like that. When you do that, you don't see the 5GHz SSID for devices that support but see the main SSID. What happens is that devices which support 5GHz will connect to the main SSID as 5GHz whereas all others will connect to the main SSID as 2.4GHz. You will know which one is connected to which one when you login to the router interface and check the connections.

If you don't select that optimization option, however, and your PS5 doesn't see the 5GHz SSID, it can mean a few things:
1. The PS5 does not support 5GHz. Many devices don't.
2. There is a strong enough barrier that blocks the 5GHz signal. You already said there is a wall. Most walls won't block it but still...

5GHz, while faster, is prone to physical barrier blockages, and it travels smaller distance than 2.4GHz. You can still have good enough speeds with 2.4GHz, depending on your use case.
I’ll relay your suggestions to him, thanks

My neighbor uses the 5g router, his PS5 sees the 2.5ghz but not the 5ghz even though it’s just in the next room separated by a wall. He has to connect his phone to it then share it to his PS5. Anyone experiencing this or with a solution?

House please, is there a way out for anyone who has exhausted his Airtel sim registration slots to register new sims aside going to unlink those numbers at Airtel offices? Someone said if you retrieve a number that it will free up a slot. How true is it?
Doesn’t retrieving translate to reactivating a number? That doesn’t feel like freeing up space.

Because of lawlessness; if not, the device is obviously theirs and you signed.
Yeah true. Same lawlessness is the reason why I’ll pay for 20mbps and they’ll be giving me below 5mbps.

Doesn't work that way mate, na you use subscription, no be them use am cheesy

But realistically, it's impossible to be going from one customer's house to another to retrieve their devices because they didn't subscribe for some months, what about the one ones that relocated, or the ones the device got damaged maybe by bad NEPA light, will they ask the person to pay for the damageshuh
grin You’ve highlighted a few of many reasons, when even NEPA Dey collect beating.

a lot of people are already using it on this thread.

You’ll pay only for subscription and an installer will come and install it in your house.

You’ll sign an undertaking at the Airtel office that the ODU is not your property but the property of Airtel and when you don’t subscribe for 2-3 months straight Airtel has the right to come and collect the ODU back from your possession.
Undertaken on top router grin . Resources that they should invest in their network is what they want to be chasing people around the country.

have anyone heard about the recent Airtel ODU router. It must be purchased from their office and they will send their own technicians to come fix it at your house
You’re in Anambra right? I believe they’ve got an office in Onitsha. Fixing it isn’t much of an Herculean task.

If U are getting a 5Mbps at times I think you shouldn't tamper with the router settings .. all you have to do it .. change the location of the router.. look for a place in your room that has good and stable network and put it there .. even if you have to put it outside your apartment
What is the settings you mentioned?

If there's FibreX in your location, then go for it. If there's no FibreX, get the new ODU and hang it outside, you will be amazed at the improvement.
I just renewed my subscription a day ago, by end of this month I’ll have either of them. I just wonder what I’ll be doing with this current router as it’s barely a month I got it.

ah is this the unlimited plan? This speed is very poor

Mine below on 50mbps unlimited on X25 pro router.
yes, unlimited 20mbps. On average, it fluctuates between that and this. Reason why I am urgently waiting for the FibreX to be laid .

So the Sim spec of the odu .. the Sim is inserted in the one outside .. that means to remove Sim and use with my 4g router wen I am going out with it I have to be climbing up and down everytime I am going out .. if that is the case den... Make I dey manage my 4g router... Airtel network is very bad in my area I used to get 700kbs maximum 1mbps but after I did some inner setting on it... I am getting minimum of 8mbps .. at home and most times 20mbps at work.. I am okay with that, i am still doing the Norma data Sha .. the area data plan ..
Drop the settings please, I don’t even get up to a third of this.

Same here. They’ve been digging trenches and laying pipes these last 2weeks. It remains for them to pass the cables through, I am hoping it’s done before the end of this month as I have just renewed my terrible Airtel subscription.

I just realized mine has both physical and esim. You can also check yours in the settings. The physical sim is the active one at the moment, but it can be switched in the settings.
Those who have purchased the e-sim variant should follow and check if their device has the option.

They don't give this particular device to you to go home with it after registration. They will send an installer to your place to install it. They're very strict with this ODU, unlike the initial one. You can't find it with agents or resellers. Even their registered distributors don't have it. Their head office here in Abuja also has a quota they're allowed to sell per day, just so they don't pile up devices for installation.
Please where’s their office in Abuja? The one close to me is calling 70k. I am considering changing the hertz6 I got a month ago as I get really poor speed.
