how old r u 12? u really think to find a sperm donor a girl needs to go to a sperm bank? why? when she could just stop taking birth control, travel out of town or abroad, fu<k someone, return pregnant and raise her kid happily without chances of the dude showing up. then there are those who dont care to go far and just invite ppl to their apartments and get pregnant, no one can prove it's his baby so she gets the single motherhood she craves. u really think ppl donated SPERM more in the 80s? more men are donating sperm in 2017 than they ever before, times are harder, ppl are more open-minded, so men are wiser now only applies if u mean they're wise enough to donate more sperm. dude, ppl are selling their kidneys what is sperm?

and lol, there are many sperm banks in private practice, as in many of them, that pay men with very good genes good money to donate sperm. and ppl rich enough to afford these hospitals can use the service or refer their rich friends. there are families where the man is impotent and it's no secret to his wife but a secret to the world, some of them use these services, they go there, find a matching genotype, the wife gets pregnant. they have a baby, they raise it and no one ever has to know the truth, then return 3 yrs later and repeat till they have all the kids they desire. this is fairly common practice. u might also try to argue nigeria does not do IVF or surrogate or cosmetic surgery yet but we have many private clinics that do.
stop fooling yourself, there are MANY ppl out there who never want to deal with kids, LIKE EVER! they dont like them, they consider them a nuisance, they find them messy, noisy, a lot of work and expensive to keep alive. the cry of a child in their house is their biggest nightmare, some just dont want the stress and responsibility of parenthood and opt out of it. i wont argue this with u either cos it's fact not just what "i know".

finally, there are many places where single ppl can adopt kids in nigeria and if u think i'm about to start dropping contacts on a forum like this, then u must be very childish to not know there's certain information that cant be used as an argument. this is not pls recommend me a good primary school. this is "oh we're having an argument and i'm trying to sh!t on u" so drop an address of the place u claim ppl can "get" babies on public forum. adopting is not cool, donating blood is stupid. drop an address of adoption centers(highly sensitive information) to prove a point and i'll phone a friend to verify. dude, you're very childish. i'm done with this conversation.

Mr man my aunt is 45 years old she is a single civil servant. she adopted her daughter when she was 2years old legally from a motherless babies home. I witnessed this. we adviced her agai nt adopting a newborn because of her physical challenges if not she would have opted for a baby.

secondly, rules in nigeria for adoption states that an unwed lady/man with a job that sustains, in sound health & over 25 yrs old can adopt, they can only adopt their own gender, that is the only advantage married couples have, they can adopt both m/f but a single man must adopt a lil boy and a single woman must adopt a lil girl. educate yourself on topics before u talk.



and um, who told u single ppl who dont want to get married cant just get a sperm donor and have a baby and raised it as single parents, do u know how easy it is to find sperm? many ppl do it all the time, so why are u making it seem marriage is the only womb opener? the ppl that might have a hard time are guys who dont want marriage but want kids, it's hard to find/afford a surrogate but women will be just fine.

dogs and cats wont drive u to the hospital, ppl should not be having kids to pass on responsibility of old age to them, if u can afford to have kids, u should be able to afford your retirement and your kids can chip in if they want. many old ppl have kids who are all abroad, their kids dont physically take care of them, they might provide the funds but they're not there to carry them around, they live with dogs and cats too, not their kids. so, anyone can grow old without kids and be just fine with dogs and cats, as long as they have made plans for retirement.
