I dont know which direction exactly the igbos are facing...before it looks like GEJ or no one else, but when GEJ lost, and the lagos crisis began, they adopted Jimi agbaje, then it became Jimi Agbaje or no one else. And the war turned to Ambode vs Igbos, When Jimi agbaje Lost, every igbo remembered there was a biafra, serious agitation began Somehow...not so long before the war between Fayose and APC law makers in Ekiti began, and Igbos became Nigerians again, throw their full support to Fayose, it became fayose all the way...They hate northerners, accused them of having born to rule character but when SARAKI and DOGARA emerged victorious, they suddenly became their heroes...am afraid their next plan would be to support Shekau of BOKO HARAM to defeat the APC government....though am happy that Igbos have accepted the position of Deputy senate president, Atleast we can have one Nigeria for sometimes before idea of Biafra comes to their minds again. |

Tragedy struck yesterday at Karu a suburb of Abuja the federal capital territory when a police man armed with an Ak47 shot dead a fellow officer and a woman point blank. Trouble started when the gunman came visiting his girlfriend who sells recharge cards by the Fidelity Bank junction at her business place and reportedly found her in company of another officer. Without wasting time opened fire on them. The police man realizing what he has done was said to have place his jaw on the nuzzle of his riffle and pulled the trigger thereby blowing his brains out. The three dead bodies where however taken to the Karu divisional headquarters where the police confirmed them wrongfully dead. According to the DPO investigation will commence immediately. The bodies have since been deposited at the mortuary. http://idomapeopleofnigeria.com/ cc; lalasticala

Relax. This isn't just about mothers and sons. With Mother's Day approaching, however, we've all been thinking about our mothers and how they've shaped and continue to shape our lives. These lessons could just as easily apply to mothers and daughters or fathers and sons or parents and children, or anyone, really. If they seem familiar to you, it may be because some of them are pieces of wisdom that are, in a sense, universal: that we should be kind when we can and learn to be resilient and self-reliant aren't ideas exclusive to any gender or familial role, but are rather essential ideas that help us grow up. I can only speak to them as a man who learned these things from women. The lessons here were given to me not only by my mother, but also by other maternal figures in my life. They included friends' mothers, aunts and grandmothers, people I worked with, and various people who've taken me in over the years. In short, these things all came not only from the family — and mother — I was born to, but also the family and mothers that I chose. I will let them speak for themselves here. |
