I didn't know the terms Us. president and world president are interchangeable. ![]() |
Laura B:Age is of great importance in this context and so is the environment. Your implication touches on perversion and not all parents clean their children with the intent to molest them. Most parents do not do this. It is the responsibility of the parent to take care of the child's personal hygeine until he or she is able to do so, self-dependently. For convenience, many parents choose to take baths with their children when they take their own baths. As long as you don't engage in some improper practices with your child while you bath, a lot of times the child will not suddenly develop a fixation for perversion. |
Not true. I do understand what you're saying, but keep in mind that two wrongs don't make a right. I would definitely not advise any coach to sit quietly and watch his team get punked constantly by bad refereeing. It's unmanly and obviously stupid. What's wrong with those other teams is their inability to voice their disapproval of their maltreatment. They shouldn't be afraid to protest against incorrect officiating. Phil did not shy away. Instead, he stood up for his team. Yes, that shows a lot about his character. It show hsi desire to fight for a just cause. It's not in Phil Jackson's job description to fight for calls for another team's benefit. His team was wronged and he was outspoken about it. That's not to be mistaken for whinning. There's a difference between bad officiating and imperfect officiating. Nobody is perfect, that's expected. But, the referees have to make a seeable effort to making sure their calls are consistent. They must do away with those ticky-tack fouls that benefit one team as opposed to another. Your biblical quote does not apply in this context. Sure, in time whatever is hidden will come to light, that happens a lot. However, if he turns a blind eye and instead chooses to be vocal after the series is over, of what benefit is that? The league office will not demand that the games be replayed, instead they might apologize for the horrible officiating and vow to fix it. Clearly, that's a long shot. Speaking out now affects the outcome of the games being played now, and brings the focus on the plays and stupid non-calls made by the referees. Hence my reason for strongly disagreeing with your input that he should wait it out until the mattter is brought to light. If the system is faulty, those who feel the effects have every right to rally against it, at any time. |
JeSoul:That's where your error in judgement comes into place. That's an issue the Jazz have to address. It is the responsibility of their coach, their players, fans, the analysts, and their organization. Phil Jackson will not make it his mission to complain that he received X number of fouls while the Jazz received x'. Take for example a situation at work where you get qiute a decent chunk or raise relatiev to your co-worker who you feel works just as hard as you do. Do you feel it is your duty to refuse your raise simply because your said co-worker did not get as much as you did? Of course not. You would either shut up about it or ask her to file a complaint. As such, Phil should not be reprimanded for speaking up for his team and you should not expect him to keep quiet when he sees something wrong. He is the leader and coach of that team and has every right to do what he finds necessary to make sure his team gets treated fairly. The oficial politicking in the Nba is way too much. David Stern has done too much to protect his officials and the system is vile and autocratic. Whereby, if any player or coach bashes the Nba officials, it is an automatic hefty ban, and it discourages them from trying it again. |
As if Nigeria is not already destroyed. Women or men and trust, do risk at your own peril. |
My lakers wet the bed terribly last night. After being up by as much as 24 how did we manage to relenquish the lead. Anyway that's another story. JeSoul:I still don't understand your biased aversion with the calls made in game two. Face it and deal with it already, ever since Phil managed to complain about the referees we saw Tim Donaghy levy some serious allegations against the league office about fixing games. It definitely couldn't have come at a better time, and since then I feel and see that the calls took a turn for the better. The problem is not with the celtics and their play. Phil is not calling you out for playing agressive basketball and drawing your fouls. You got about 38 fouls in that game and you deserved most them, but the lakers only got 10 while they should have had more. This is not the first time a ocach has spoken out about terrible officiating in the Nba. Those who do speak out either get fined or suspended. Majority of the people who look back at the Heat - Mavericks series can see how that series turned out after Derange fade spent more time on the freethrow line than he did at his own house. Congratulations on your win, but keep in mind that the series isn't over; obviously. See you on sunday for game 5. |
dudu-bobo:No. Support patriotic troops who were lured into, or wilfully joined, the US. army to protect their nation and to combat against terrorism. To fight against Hussein's regime and to bring liberty to the people of Iraq. The idea that the US. government has a different agenda should not prevent you from backing the troops, who by the way, are just doing their job. |
The war in Iraq has done more harm than good for the US. economy. But let's continue to support those troops, no matter what. |
Don't you think they're being a little hypocritical? I know not too much about the man so I can't really say much. The loss of a human life, in general, is grave. I'm sure he has family, children, and friends who are pained by the loss. My heart goes to them and I hope God gives them the might to cope with the loss. |
She's just a confused person. Merge. How did we go from an argument that blacks are insensitive to their culture, to an argument centered on the need for an igbo religion. Of what benefit is this, and how does it hold merit to your beginning claim? |
merge. At this juncture, you have stopped making sense. What role will the needless existence of an "igbo" religion play in improving the cultural sensitivity of blacks? - Not that there's a need for one anyways. What would comprise this igbo religion? |
merge:How and why is it important? It is not important just because you "think" it is. That reasoning will not suffice. Moreover, why the stupid fixation on igbos? |
merge, please stop trolling. I'm beginning to question your maturity and age. It appears you're simply an ignorant hobo. Through it all you have chosen to turn a blind eye to supporting your claim. Yet, here you are a promoting an unhealthy prevarication about the lack of cultural responsibility in Nigerians. Amidst your nasty claim you have suddenly decided that you are right and won't listen to what others have to say. |
Contrary to the question you have asked, merge, why don't you give me examples of why you're right? You wanted to make a point but you still haven't. All you stated is that you "see" and you "observe", whereas there's a possiblity that you could be suffering from eye delusions. |
Yes, while I agree that you do need to stop being naive, you still need to recognize that there is no element of truth in what you say. It isn't set in stone. You're still unable to suggest a liveable argument that supports your affirmation. |
What you see from where and based on what, that's what you should explain. It strikes me that you're one of those who take one or two samples of a whole, and decide to exaggerate the significance. |
You are wrong and probably can't even explain what your observations are based on. I'm sure your principles are shallow. |
JeSoul:And keep in mind that the lakers, with the exception of the machine and kobe, didn't show up for the game, too. |
JeSoul:Don't get your panties in a bunch. The spurs could not have complained about the brent barry call. Prior to that posession, as i mentioned before, the Lakers should have had the ball back, and BB travelled before the foul.If it all goes well in game 4 on thursday this series will be knotted at 2 games a piece. Phil Jackson had every reason to speak out against the refs biased and stupid phantom calls. KG set illegal picks all game today and you expect laker fans to be happy with that? Yeah right! See you on thursday. |
YEAH!!! YEAH!!! YEAH!!! WHAT DID I SAY! WHAT DID I SAY! I TOLD YOU! 2 - 1 What's up with KG and his moving (illegal) picks? He must have done that all game and the refs only called it once. Pathetic. |
YES! We WILL Win tonight. If we don't, I won't post on these forums for one month. Mark my words. SeanT21:Victory I can accept, but I cannot accept defeat. If you watched the games at all you will realize that the freethrow discrepancy (38-10), in game 2, is more than mind boggling. And I blame it on phantom calls. |
If they're on crack, they're on the right kind of crack. It's about time they divert their attention to cracking down on criminals. I don't see anything too wrong with this law - except you might argue that the fees and fines are on the high side. It's definitely a good way to discourage traffic offenders from putting innocent lives at risk everyday. If that means losing a decent chunk from their already undersized pockets, so be it. Road safety is very important. Let's just hope the police officers don't see this as a way to upgrade their pockets. |
landis:No negro, YOU'RE missing the point. We do have fine intelligent people in Nigeria but our resources are awful. On top of that you're also generalizing. They do identify with Nigeria. Their national identity can be traced back to culture, and culture is people's way of life. In one form or another they identify with Nigeria, either by language or by dressing, or you name it. There's a difference between patriotism and madness. Should people continue to lose their lives over senseless governmental failure, no. That's why some of us choose to leave. If your economy cannot provide adequate living standards for the people, they're allowed and free to find ways to live fulfilling lives. Still doesn't strip them of their loyalty to Nigeria. Don't continue using fundamentally unsound axioms in situations where they don't apply. The government of Nigeria has been stealing from her people and raping their souls, but you, Landis, chose to ignore this. The leaders have been stealing from the nation and stashing the loot in foreign bank accounts, why not blame them? The key to the problems we face extend far beyond what's in the name "Port Harcourt". If you can't see this, go have your brain examined. Instead of blaming the problems on artificial ideas, why don't you focus on addressing the real problems that plague Nigeria. |
Too late. You already responded. ![]() |
JeSoul:Negro please. What you're seeing is the Lakers vs. the refs. Yes, Boston plays solid 'D', I give you that, but don't go pretending it's all gravy and flawless when the refs have consulted with David Stern to steal this trophy. How are we going to get in a good flow if the refs decide to blow the daggone whistle every 30 seconds? We'll see you in LA. Go Lakers! |
Fhucking refs and their phantom calls. Are you kidding me. Calling touch fouls in the NBA Finals. Anyways! It's not over until the fat lady sings. Fucking stupid conspiracy! Go Lakers! |
SeanT21:Lol. Keep your hopes up. You still have a shot. dapsycool:My alma mater. Go Bears! |
T@meD0:The one drop rule. Unfortunately, he is the very definition of BLACK, in America. |
anonimi:I did. Thus my reason for disagreeing with the sentence I isolated. |
landis:Nigerian economy is teetering on the edge of calamity and all you can blame is the historical relevance of a name? This has nothing to do with their Nigerian identity. Do you even understand the meaning of identity? Those who have broken the law and stolen her money are just looters and criminals. They're the exact people who have turned the economy into the catastrophe that it is today. |
Dude. Now I believe you're just talking out of your buttocks. Read it again 6 times. Nigerians don't identify with Nigeria. . . . What hogwash! Where do they identify with? Pakistan? Dudey, you can do better. If it's any news to you bro., we have had many years now to reclaim our cultural identity and we are doing a good job of it. A city's name isn't the cause of Nigeria's problems. You are just delusioned. You're just attaching too much stigma to this useless article, or just plain suffering from astigmatism. |
