But more importantly, if you are doing vigilante group during the night, ensure you get adequate sleep during the day, that's if your baby sleeps during the day or you have someone with you that can take care of the baby while you sleep. How is the night watch going?

Finally my night watch is over as chairman don sleep. Una good morning 2:23 am

Praise be to God we were officially 1 month old yesterday (July 22nd) and madam has decide to party all night. Normally madam do cooperate and sleep but today own na wa... For the last 3hours and been dancing and singing for her ooo

I wonder when we will call it a day.. Currently it 1.12am

Welcome to Moherhood!!!! It is a thing of joy ooooo. Na the vigil be that oooo. My baby did same for 1week i didnt sleep the migraine wey come dey do me no be small. Nne as she's sleeping, you too start to sleep your own too. My DD when its 9pm even after taking formula, she will not sleep until I put my nipple in her mouth. She will. Sleep with it. So what i do is arrange her beside me, place a high cloth on place my breast on it to face her mouth as shes sucking me am. Sleeping, when shes done, ahe remove her mouth from my nipple!!!! This is every night oooo so imagine. Dont worry we will get use to it!!!

The vigilante is truely real cappo...

Didn't understood until when night cones and I see her eyes shinning like full moon. Lol


I go sing sing dance dance so tey I go over tire befire she sleeps the worst is if I put her down she will just open eyes again

I can't really say much but I feel you need to study them to know the sensible one there so as to know who to give... And you can even call on such person to ask after lo even while at work and then couplesd with ur suprise visit u would know if ur little tips is working

I sha believe if the daycare is a good one there would be one of the staffs u can buy over and would treat lo specially


But be careful not to make it everyday things or too often so they won't treat lo bad whenever u don't give

In fact I made inquiry for another one and I'm withdrawing her immediately. They will be so surprised I won't even give them any reason at all. Foolish people I went there around 11 to peep at her only to see her diaper soiled with poo they were telling me she just poo. Imagine the rubbish. No wonder she is always having nappy rash.

I did use it then.... The only side effect I noticed was excessive sleep... I slept like there was no tomorrow... It makes one sleep excessively

Please don’t give anything to the baby..

Burp after feeding , watch what you eat(some baby reacts to some diary products and gas forming foods)
My children colic is always worse when I take dano milk so I learnt to stay off it..

Do tummy time ( lie baby on tummy for about 5-10 minutes daily, supervised and ensure the tummy is not full )

Bicycle exercise too helps (lie the baby on back and play with the legs like someone riding bicycle)

I think now I know why my gynae asked me to stay off milk and beans for now...

When the pressure was too much I had to get nospamin I used it for only few days

Above all what I just do it when they say use this, try it,...i juts pretend to have used it even when I haven't (esp when am not in support of it) cos I won't want to sound rude by saying I am not using it

Its the Lords doing, all thanks to God Almighty. Its a bouncing baby Boy, his all have prayed for.. He weighed 3kg, and came to this world after a serious tear at exaclty 11:45am. Glory to God. I later had to use nospamin when MIL and my mum won't lemme rest... What I just do was I give very little like 0 5ml of it.. Plus I didn't use it everyday ooo... Sometimes I just tell than have used it even when I haven't lol

For me I wore top and wrapper or skirts but raised my skirts to Tommy level above the site.. As for breastfeeding, I started allowing my lo to suck on the 3rd day when I was able strong enough.. Even though it didn't flow but I was adviced to allow lo keep sucking that it the more lo sucks the better my changes of milk flowing.. And by evening, I was able to breastfeed and then stop the sma she was talking (inshort na lo reject sma when she felt the difference in the taste of sma and breastmilk) lol

Start dropping her an hour or two before you start work. Show up unannounced sometimes to keep them in check. Be sweet and kind to the minders, above all pray to God for guidance and protection for your LO.

The day care my Daughter attends I saw spatula ( turning Stick) with the creche minder and I asked her what its for she said she uses it to turn babies that refused to crawl on time. I'm just worried Cos I din't expect to see that type of thing there she said its part of the job they do. I'm just worried ....I've also heard of situation where they use it to beat children under their feet...

It's one of those superstition I heard while growing up that one should use turning stick on babies who refused to crawl so as to enable them crawl know time

U know this 9ja we dey Ehn so many superstition and old wives tales

Try and start taking a week before resumption for a few hours , check on him unannounced to allay your fears that he’s been taken care of and trust in God for the best..

I express because I close late and from 6months I pack his food then breastfeed when I come back..

Sincerely this creche matter has been on.my mind for so long dd would be 3month by the time I resume and am being so scared of leaving her at the creche lol....

It's well guess I will let dd start before I resume work plus give them suprise visit. Then madam kaffy as regards expressing breastmilk what's the challenges plus disadvantages and necessary things cos thats what I intend to do

The last scan I did on Friday read baby weight at 3.05kg and I gave birth the next day... Baby weight was 2.5kg at birth... Just imagine the difference and I only took a small tea cup of tea and few biscuits on that Saturday morning oo

Two weeks after which was June 15th, I repeated the scan and it was still the same oblique lie and cord round her neck and foetal weight was already 3kg.. I did another scan (not 4D) at the state hospital I was shuffling with the private hospital and her WTF was 3.5kg. I became scared cos I always wanted to birth her myself and according to what I have read of sometimes the mother's height determine if she can birth a big baby herself.
My gynae gave the option of elcs as the weight was increasing and won't want lo to be up to 3.5kg considering am not a too tall person plus the fact that cord round the neck and scan can't detect how long or short the cord is to see if it can be possible to birth bet even despite that..Gynae said I had a week to decide whether I want elcs and the other state hospital wanted me to wait till I was in labour.

During my last week of deciding, I felt irregular contraction. I almost felt like I was gonna poo lo out one of those days..lol... I sha packed my bags and hubby was shivering like he as if pple don't make it after a cs(dont blame him though)
Then on Saturday morning to the Sunday of my birthday (though I wanted to go for the CS on Sunday so she can share same date).. Thank God hubby insisted cos when they brought lo out of me in the theatre she had pooed inside of me and was so shore that had to give her oxygen...Gynae names her miracle baby that any seconds after that she might be brought out dead... All praises to God... All throughout the process I felt like I was in a dream world... That after they finished my whole body was like wood I kept asking whr my hands and legs where lol..

Woke up few hours to hear lo crying for food (thank God I took sma gold)
Welcomed my princess at 12.00pm on 22nd June 2019 weighed 2.5kg at birth

Hmmm... Where do I start the journey has been mixed fun and can be stressful but Alhamdulilahi its all in praise just looking at my bibty..

I took in Oct last year and then I had serious Ms that I can't even hold water down... Absolutely nothing worked for me (tried sweet, Lipton, peppery food) I even throw up without haveinh anything inside.. At a point I felt I would vomit my intestine self... Lol
One Sunday evening, I went to the hospital to be sure this ms dey normal only to detect typoid and low Bp (am still amazed there is really low Bp cos na high I sabi). Working was challenging looking at the fact dt am a medical sales rep anyways second trimester came and was so full of energy.
Baby bump started showing towards third trimester that pple started congratulating me.. Lol...
Fast forward to June beginning when I did scan and realized bibty was oblique lie and had single loop of cord round her neck. My gynae advised we give her 2 weeks to see if the presentation would change along side the cord would remove.....

My baby eats a lot, sometimes I feel the breast milk is not enough for him. He sleeps after breastfeeding, before you know it he is up again demanding. Am a first time mum, so I am still a JJC in this thing.

Am a ftm too and spoke to my cousin how she coped after her mat leave and she talked about expressing breast milk for her lo and am looking at starting dt weeks to resumption. EBF is the best and stressful though ..u can try dt if u really feel EBF is ur plan don't let work be a barrier evrn though I know it can sha
