We are in an age where we grow up being told if you have a feeling toward someone, don't resist, engage. God ordained man-woman (not boy-girl or tenage) relationships for the purpose of marriage. This group is for those who are committed to wait, and when proved as a man will search for a Godly woman and when she has proved herself they prepare. He will honor her father and address him before approaching her. She will be virtuous and not take the initiative or be sensual toward him. They will honor God and each other and not be foolish enough to put himself in a situation where they as a couple are alone. Courtship will set the foundation for the two of the most important things God has ordained: marriage and parenthood. |

Blazay: You do really have a 'comprehension' problem. I only give credit on an individual basis, not as a group. I praised Phillip Emeagwali didn't I. In some regards, ethnicism has no place in the Nigerian individuality. . . it only takes a sophisticated mind to realize that. But you think in Ekiti. . . laugh in Ekiti. . . dream in Ekiti and piss in Ekiti. . . so I cannot blame you much.
If you read again. . . I stated a role model for Nigerian women. . . .of which my mother happens to belong. She has to get a piece of me for me to defend her rights to be whatever she wishes to be? I am having a laugh! Why won't I be defensive of her? If you can champion the causes of molested 13 year olds 'Yerimarized' by Nigerian men from the North to the Southern parts of Nigeria. . .someone has to champion those of the elderly and 'aging' too. . .that is where I choose to pitch my tent.
This is about respect for autonomy and choice. . . the right to be an adult female in Nigeria without the abusive mentality that permeates the Nigerian male psyche on all levels.
Sorry buddy. . . I live in a civilized society. . . .of what use will that be, if it could not show? A waste frankly.
Like the saying goes. . . you can take a monkey ourra the bush. . .but never the tropican rain forest ourra the Baboon! I am neither a retaaarded ethnisist(for we do have categories and sub-categories of ethnicists), nor sexist/bigot. . . like we see all over NL and Nigeria. Not my portion in the name of my lord! Amen. you are just completely judging her success from other peoples failure.just cos u accept that she is all that doesnt make her awesome in the minds of other people. Christ!there are so many older women that her more finer, more beautiful, prettier than her. not even that her unnatural face and hairline, that is dieing of freedom from overly used cosmetics |

Just accept the fact that it's really over. Don't assume that things will rekindle. You have to toughen up to survive in this world. There's a time for everything, so for now you just move on. Believe in the future. The future will hold something better. Move on. Move on. Move on |

Blazay: For women in Nigeria. . .a good role model about what it takes to live in a male-dominated society. Not for me pe se. I have a mom just like her. . . who does not give a damn what the world thinks. . . and I can most definitely appreciate here 'gusto feminique'! I wish more women would be like her. . . . Not these shrinking violets of hypocritical tainted virtues littered all over Nigeria and beyond Africa. I love assertive women.
Femme fatale!. . . .the ultimate.
No man that would interview this woman. . . that would not earn her respect. . . unlike the Waziri and Akunyili kinds. . . timid and extremely unexposed just get ur facts and definitions right about been a role model wish more women would be like her? hell no she cant even take the first 20 influential women in nigeria, mayb to guys sha or has she gottn a piece of u cos u seem to b defensive of her. |

I was once like U fired up and ready to do my part but meeeeeeeeeeen all u get out of trying to live right in this country is frustration and u get mocked by people who should know better. ' keep doing what is right ,dont give up' is what most of y'all will say but really do I have to and keep looking silly? No way. probably the reason people see my efforts as stupidity [and call me mumu] is because deep down they are comfortable with the way the country is , they may deny it but I mean if u really want a change so bad U'll work hard to change it right? So since everyone is right and the few people trying to do right are fools then lets carry on. Yea Yea bruv! cos it is your responsibility to define your destination in life and the problems you were born to solve |

chrishenzo: I don't worry about bribing, I worry about the inferiority complex of most Nigerians I worry about the lack of patriot of most Nigerians I worry about how most Nigerians swallow anything that media said but fail to understand that the greatest weapon on earth is not nuclear bomb but THE MEDIA. I worry about how most Nigerians are still living in modern day slavery I worry about how most Nigerians like to digest negative news without knowing that it affects them I worry about how most Nigerians shouts "Only in Nigeria" but failed to notice that the same crime happens everywhere. I worry about how most Nigerians are internet warriors but physically they don't have balls.
I was an advocate of "One Nigeria" but some weeks back I have to ask myself if there is anything like "One Nigeria". I was chatting with one Nigeria person some weeks ago, and we were discussing about Nigeria situation and how the country can change. But behold, the person open up his mouth and starts vomiting rubbish. He said "Nigeria is a hopeless country, Nigeria is a silly country, I hate Nigeria. I don't want to have anything to do with the country again. They are silly, they are criminals, frauds, and nothing good will come from the country. I won't go back until they fixed the country, etc. His voice was so loud and to make things worst, there were about 10-15 people from different countries around us. I was so embarrassed and ashamed of myself. I just told him " I'm disappointed in you" and the next time he said was "Who cares. silly hopeless country!"
All the other foreigners was surprised and one of them just told him that he is the most silly person he has ever come across in his entire 47years old. He asked the Nigerian guy, whether the country he is currently living was fixed by God? One of them asked me whether there are other brain dead people like this in Nigeria. My brothers I was confused and transfixed.
Finally don't get me wrong, bribing is ripping dip into the heart of Nigeria but instead of repeating the same issues that even a child knows about, why not find a solution to it. You can start by avoiding bribing from your own side. Fix yourself and you fix Nigeria. Anyone yo blame for your situation is the one you have given power to control your destiny |
