I will strongly advice that you should endure and round up your Bsc degree here in Nigeria and use it to apply for Msc in the US because you will have upper chance and have it in mind that they don't catch late comers coming to US to study, so exercise patience as well.

Start reading from previous parts and to learn more from this thread and also start researching for schools of your choice and before you finish your Nysc, you already have admission in any of the US schools for your masters degree..

If you're in your 4th year for a 4-year course, I think you should stay. Even 5-year course. Finish what you started, well. Except you're heavily loaded as per cash and/or you're top of your class in an highly competitive department, your chances of getting a transfer admission is slim. You'll need to secure admission first, before discussing visa.

Bad things happen everywhere. It would be naive not to think it doesn't. America is not perfect. What irks me is the way Nigerians talk as if personal rights is something they are used to. Fine. It happened. It is regrettable. But the way Nigerians are talking on this thread you'd think America is one horrible country. This coming from people who don't know the first thing about fighting for rights.

Now i understand why Nigeria does not provide these things to it's people. My bad. And America is a great country because it caters for the rights of more than a majority of it's people. I don't know what you were taught in school, but the rule in governance is, if you can provide for 50% of the population, you have a good system. And America has done that and then some. Nigeria cannot even provide for 10% of it's people. That is not even the point though. Why is it that in Nigeria you pay for these things and they are not even provided for and to you and you can't say a word but your chest becomes inflated when it involves America?

The funny thing is, back in Nigeria, you are all treated like dirt. Your own government treats you like you are sub human. But, when you go to a country where true freedom prevails, all of a sudden you remember that you have rights? The opening matches for the European Premier League season were held on the 13th of August, 2016. Amidst all the sports frenzies by fans, there are some points that should be noted from the results of the matches. 


We have highlighted five of these lessons below.




 

1.      Leicester doesn’t have what it takes to defend the title: The reigning EPL champions lost on the opening day of the season to Hull City – a team that is currently ‘manager-less'. Interestingly, they are the first defending EPL champions to lose on the opening day of a premier league season ever. From their not too appealing performance in the match, it is easy to deduce that the Premier league champions doesn't have what it takes to defend the title they won by losing just 3 matches throughout last season.


2.      Manchester United is the team to beat this season: With a sterling performance against Bournemouth, the Mourinho-led team showed their intent for the new season. With Paul Pogba expected to make his debut in the next match, it will be interesting to see how the other 19 teams wouldsurvive the Red Devils' onslaught throughout the season.


3.      Arsenal needs two marquee signings urgently:  Arsenal suffered defensively in their opening match defeat at home against Liverpool, conceding 3 first half goals in the space of 15 minutes. Arsene Wenger must give all it takes to sign anestablished defender and a 20-goal striker before the transfer market closes in the next 16 days.


4.      Liverpool's Klopp effect:  Last season, Jurgen Klopp didn’t have enough chance to effect his style in the Liverpool setup. A 4-0 trashing of Barcelona in a pre-season match and a 4-3 away win over the weekend in a potential ‘match of the season’ game against Arsenal at the Emirates stadium is enough proof of the Klopp's effects at the Reds. It will be interesting to see how much success this would bring to the Merseyside giant in the new season.


5.      Pep has a lot to do at Manchester City:  Much of the talk was on the Pep-Hart relationship, but the citizens win against Sunderland in their opening EPL fixture was far from impressive. For a team coached by arguably the best coach in the world, the display was well below par. Pep Guardiola will need to shun off unnecessary distractions from media talks and controversies within his squad and establish a formidable team at the Manchester-based side. He must enforce his way into the side in a very little time.
