About the bolded, so you admit that Covid-19 is deadly? Why, then, did Trump tell his supporters that Covid-19 is no deadlier than the average flu? If we take Trump's words at face value, then that bodes even worse for your argument: a virus that isn't deadlier than the flu -- which kills over 12,000 yearly in US -- has led to the deaths of 237,000 people -- almost 20 times the number of deaths caused by flu -- under the watch of the Trump administration.

The Democrats don't submit to Biden as the Republican party has to Trump, so if Biden wins and messes up, Democrats can join Republicans to deal with him. There are more registered Democrats than Republicans, and to claim that half the nation hates the nation because they don't share your political beliefs is childish, divisive, and destructive. The country ought to have policies that resonate with both sides. Pushing too far-left or too far-right -- like a 6 - 3 conservative Supreme Court -- is sure to result in backlash.

Obama was no saint by any means -- I totally agree with you on that, but neither is Trump. Both presidents have moved several times without Bipartisan support of their congress.

This election can go either way. Trump pulled off an amazing win in 2016, and I was happy because I hated Hillary. But 2020 isn't 2016: Trump is the incumbent, and Biden is more likable than Hillary.

Trump is using some points from his 2016 playbook, like trying to paint the Dem candidate as corrupt and himself as a savior. That isn't working so well now because everyone has witnessed what a Trump presidency is like; Trump isn't talking much about what he'd do if he's elected president again; and Biden is a more likable and cleaner candidate than Hillary.

Cleaner as in there aren't many - if any - scandals tied to him, so he can only be attacked through his son, Hunter. It's also not natural that the "Dem candidate is corrupt" rhetoric won't work as well a 2nd time as it did in 2016 - people have seen if all before.

Anyway, this election can go either way. It's just to wait and see.

Trump and Republicans can tout their crowds as much as they want, but they still understand that - even in the worst case scenario for Democrats - at least 65 million votes will be cast for Biden nationwide.

So, it's not by crowd. It's by those few Battleground states. Like others, I don't buy what the pollsters are selling. It's not over until it is.

Earlier this year I decided to start a relationship with a casual friend (a girl). She accepted my proposal although not without giving me much headache sha


So we started, having known alot about our past and in a bid to get the best out of what we have, we gave it all. Shared all our deepest secrets to each other - although I don't have any past still trailing me, my pasts (relationships) where gone and are very far from me. Same with her except for one.


He is a very trusted family friend of hers. Currently a seminarian for almost a decade and has a good chance of being a priest but still does fling with her until I came into the picture. Was a member of the mums prayer group and have been very close to the family for long.


She has been having this affair with the said guy without the knowledge of anyone around but a very close sis, I happen to be the second person to know. So this dude still has assess to her home and she to his home (although both of them don't spend much time with family again but occasionally come around).


MY FEARS

*They really really had a lot in the past, even as a seminarian, he indirectly made her end relationships, she claims to be over him but I usually see it as a conscious denial.
*When she's home and the guy is around, they get to meet- he even made advances at her sometime ago.
* My girl once told me she will want the want the guy (as a priest) to officiate our wedding.
* All about him is seriously threatening my religious life as a Catholic. Each time I see a Seminarian I will be like "hypocrite, this might be the guy who did this with my girlfriend". Imagine what this will be when he eventually becomes a priest.

WHAT I ASKED FOR

When she told all about him around March or April this year. I insisted on her completely cutting communication with him, but she vehemently refused then, somehow I accepted. I also wanted to know the said guy in person somehow (even if it's through Facebook since I wasn't close), but she still refused. I decided to give her time since we barely started. We've been good since then and things are going well. And I thought we've gotten over that.


Some days ago I stumbled upon a post on her Facebook wall over a sensitive topic. A guy who share a lot of similarities with this ex of her commented on it, using just a sentence to my explain my girls position on that topic. I concluded it's him. So i casually approached my girl - even with a plea not to get offended by what we will be talking about - that I have seen the guy shes been hiding from me. She said I was wrong about my assumptions, and later asked why I was bent on knowing this guy.

My people, I've spent since Monday trying to explain why i think it's important I know him, if not now but sooner considering how far we ( my girl and I) are going and cos we aren't in the same location. But she has totally refused insisting that she only did me a favour by letting me in on it and will not go further not even in future. She even threatened that we should walk away from the relationship if I insisted on knowing the guy.


So i kept asking myself...am I really asking for too much or is it right I know this person??

Some people are lucky, especially those who get to see clear red flags like these before going into a relationship.

I have written a bit about my own experience here. My ex used to think that it wasn't a big deal to go out with guys and visit their homes even. I thought I could change that, and I really liked her.

I think you already know that this girl is in love with that ex, but for some weird reason, you still want to enter into a relationship with her.

You see all those fears, they'll come through. Bro, I ended up wasting 7 years of my life, and it still didn't work out. Common sense is already out of the discussion, seeing as your girl is adamant on maintaining some kind of contact with that guy. She can't let him go, and you know this.

Bros, for your own sanity - and for the sake of not wasting your life as many in your situation ended up doing - run! Break up with her and run! Don't ever ignore red flags or hope they'll go away.
