Requesting for your passport does not cancel or stop your application from processing. If it eventually gets approved you pay for courier service to send it back to them.

I specifically asked them this. Check last paragraph of attached photo .

That’s ridiculous for a renewal. It seems the standard wait time now is 6–8 months.

They need to do better. The UK receives 50x more applications, and you get a decision in less than a month.

Is there a way to know the particular month they are processing at the moment. I’m making travelling plans and thinking of asking them to return my passport.

They denied me there too. He is doubtful concerning coming to Nigeria and he had to go to Morocco with his friend because he is scared of traveling to far places alone. Morocco was our hope 😭
