In both cases, I see the word 'alleged', meaning the Police have neither concluded their investigations into the matters nor has any court of law pronounced the guilt of the suspects

Yet our 'sensible' Police Force deemed it fit to socially and politically stigmatise one of them by exposing his picture and name to the public, while hiding the facial identity of one of their own who is a suspect as well

If this isn't Political witchhunting of the highest order, then I don't know what it is

She should serve the sentence.

She is a f00lish woman. She has no good advisers. I remember calling her out when she was flaunting her daughter on her birthday.

She recklessly killed the bread winner of a family (A medical doctor), instead of moving close and trying to ease their pain.

I thought she will have sense enough to start a trust / foundation in the Doctor's name and assist raise funds based on her influence to get scholarships for his children. Doing this alone is enough to show remorse and make the family drop any charges against her.

Rather, She was busy flaunting her daughter on Social Media, going for gigs. I heard that she was even drunk again at the AMVCA after party.

She did not manage the whole stuff well and deserves 10-20 years jail term because she might not have killed the Doctor if she was not drunk (That is a statement of fact recognized by the law. So her recklessness led to the death of the Doctor. It was not a mechanical fault.)

No need for sentiments and emotion. The Law is clear on what penalty for Involuntary Man Slaughter should be.

The court knows better and no amount of tribal, ethnic, religious or emotional sentiment can prevent the law from taking its course since she does not know how to use emotional intelligence to get an out of court settlement.

This is what you get from a society that worships materialism in all its guises. A society that mocks an intellectual or hard working individual. A society that has turned our brothers, sons, uncles, nephews, dad, cousins to murderers and theives and ritualists and connivers just to make money in an effort to be appreciated by society.

A society that applaudes our daughters, sisters, nieces, aunts, moms, cousins predereliction to selling their bodies for money in a bid to feel wholesome and appreciated by others.

Until there is a re-evaluation of our values, more happenings such as this will be our lot. Until we boo that politician riding in his Bentley rather than bestow him with chieftaincy titles, until we 'clap for the head' of that lady all decked out in the finest of apparels while reclining in the pilot seat of that Mercedes CLS and call her the asshewwoo she is as she has no means of explaining her wealth, until our ladies start questioning the source of income of our chaps who despite still living with their parents who aren't wealthy can afford to buy them 50,000k worth of presents while owning a 2014 Cross-tour and spending 100k in the club, until she can say No! I won't date you as your attitude to life is questionable and until she sees the man hustling legimately as an entrepreneur or an applicant as not being a slacker or loser or someone not worth her time, then, we must continue to 'park the shiit' that our warped societal values defecates in our living rooms.
