RexTramadol1: You can run a check
Even if most did not for respect but for international relations purposes Well they have to do it just to be politically correct but hey in one way or the other we are still under Britain's rule. Independence is just a farce here in Nigeria. |

obedience4: Twitter is your basis of your argument, when we are in the era of bots and spaming.. Like it or Not the Queen is loved by millions around the world. Her memories will live long. I didn't say people don't like her. It's just kind of like 50-50 you know. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: People Gather Outside Buckingham, Windsor, And Balmoral To Mourn The Queen(Pics) by nahr(f): 6:50pm On Sep 12, 2022 |
RexTramadol1: Ratio those who hate her to those who love her
Even in the UK, there were calls for cancellation of Monarchy but the death of the Queen is making those calling for cancellation have a rethink
There are far too many who want the status quo to remain.
Even those who aren’t slavers aren’t loved by all, that all her former colonies even flew their flags at half mast in her honor is something. Well it's just that she symbolises the end of an era and that's just it. I am not like hating on her or something but I just feel like here in this part of the world she really didn't have like anything special she did. I mean growing up as a small girl I used to hear about her a lot and I just wondered about her. Being the longest serving monarch might be a great feat but a lot of people in this generation don't hold the sentiments people attach to monarchical figures anymore. This shows a lot from what I have seen on tiktok and twitter like people are being openly disrespectful. What I know is that King Charles won't enjoy the level of dignity his mother managed to enjoy throughout her life time. PS: Are you sure all her former colonies are flying their flags at half mast? |

IamPlato: nigga every fvcking person allways has negative things to say about everybody whether whether they are sure of the information or not.
Many of una will not even reach her age talkless of her achievements.

Angel55555: Have you seen another verified account sharing her views about the late Queen? She's a Public figure, somethings are expected of her. We're all entitled to our views and opinion tho. Well someone has to break the norms. It's been a while, how have you been though? |

SmartyPants: Her reasons for feeling the way she felt or her reasoms for feeling the need to tweet what she says she felt?
Either way, no justificstion.
I'm open to being convinced...show me the irish educator of a similar standing who has made such comments. There might just be a high probability of one coming out soon, I never said I saw one yet but you know everyone is entitled to their opinion. Lecturers and professors involve themselves in controversies, they aren't like saints or bastions of discipline and morality. |

SmartyPants: She's a lecturer at a big university!
A public figure and one that should shape rational behavior!
Which Irish person of a similar standing has done such?? You know I think that she knew the consequences of what that tweet might have before she posted it. I can't call her irrational because she actually went ahead to state her reasons for the tweet. Besides how sure are you that any Irish person of similar standing haven't done such? |

Yet some people want to have Uju Anya hanged as if she is the only one on twitter who wrote negative things about the late queen. |

naijapikin2: despite the fact that manu won arsenal, arsenal are still way better than manu at present... Remember what happened yesterday?.. as an arsenal supporter we bear a lot of things, that's why many girls like dating arsenal supporters. Because to a large extent we are faithful to the things we hold dear. Do the research. Anyway welcome, be reminded it's a rough terrain. But at last we remain the best. Trust me, you'll enjoy the ride. Cheers. lol thanks |

FERNANDEZISBACK: One of the greatest the world ever had.. I see some hate her due to their defeat and all but they ain't blaming their so called leader who led them to their death.. They started the war by toppling the then Nigeria prime minister which led to their own taking over... After the whole thing backfired all they could do is blame this lady.. Greatest how please? By being the longest living monarch? Besides your analogy is quite wrong people hating on her are not only Igbos. Several Nigerians from other tribes have negative things to say about her too. Also moving away from Nigeria, you can see a lot ot tweets from indians, South Africans and several other people from countries the British have once ruled saying bad things about her. |

I don't know about others but to me Uju Anya just made herself more popular. I don't know why Jeff Bezos is pained though, perhaps he had ties with the late queen. |

naijapikin2: as much as I'm an arsenal supporter and I value your presence, I deem it proper to tell you that arsenal will also have it's future challenges. So please maintain your manu lane, because the possibility is high that you will one day dump arsenal maybe for fulham. I am an arsenal supporter because I want to and I am here to stay. Do you remember that man u thrashed arsenal in their last encounter? |

Parachoko: Can you show reason why you say the bolded? The Scottish were giving the chance to leave, they choose to stay. I don't think the new prime minister said anything about holding about referendum for the Scottish people again.
Not every Irish hate the British. Northern Ireland is still part of the UK, they choose to still be part of the UK. Was it not earlier this year that it was making rounds everywhere that northern Ireland will hold a referendum on joining Ireland? |
