#4 She is a conservative .
Hopefully she is a social conservative and will not allow gay people to take over the United Kingdom.
There is nothing she can do about the LGBT in UK. She will be crucified if she takes any action against them.
Foreign AffairsRe: Ten Things To Know About Liz Truss, New UK Prime Minister (Photos) by nahr(f):
The question is if she can deliver UK from the surging energy crisis within a week as she already promised. Also I want to see how she will tackle the current reduction in living standards over there. I see people congratulating her here but I don't think many Britons really like her and besides it wasn't like a general election she was only selected by the party.

I had to go on YouTube, BBC precisely and nobody was hyping or even congratulating her, many of the comments were negative and these are the people actually living there, like the Britons! I don't just get the hype with this woman on nairaland. Like what is she to Nigerians and what are Nigerians to her?

Three threads about this woman on front page? The way people here are praising and congratulating her is really bordering on pure sycophancy.

TravelRe: Nigerians Arriving Dubai Are Detained And Their Passports Seized (Video) by nahr(f): 6:42am On Sep 01, 2022
This is crazy. It probably has to do with some Nigerians who are over there doing some shady stuffs.

TV/MoviesRe: What's Importance Of Watching Horror Movies? by nahr(f): 6:02am On Aug 31, 2022
I don't think there is any importance, it's just pure entertainment. That rush of adrenaline you feel while watching it is great too. smiley

TV/MoviesRe: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by nahr(f): 7:23am On Aug 25, 2022
I watched "Respect" yesterday. it's a movie about the late queen of soul, Aretha Franklin. Although the movie was released last year and I sort of bumped into it online, it was a great watch and the acting was superb.

HALO

Still on episode 2. Fighting scenes in the movie looks like something gotten from a game.

It's kind of annoying if you ask me.
Halo is pretty nice for a movie based on a video game. The editing and acting is great. You will like it more when you watch the remaining episodes.

Nigeria is not a normal country.
PoliticsRe: No Going Back On Buhari’s Impeachment – Aggrieved Lawmakers by nahr(f): 7:31am On Aug 08, 2022
This is all just for show and besides it is too late. They are all trying to look good as if they aren't part of Nigeria's problem. Buhari will end up leaving Aso Rock in 2023 after finishing his tenure. These lawmakers won't enforce any impeachment, it's just all for clout so as to seem as if they are working.
