cc lalasticlala see the video of the things happening in the North, A State Government run company exposing the lives of its workers to a specially guarded raw material for making fertlizer which is also used by the islamic states in making explosives. This is quite worrisome. Especially in a season like this, there is no form of social distancing at the plant. The chemicals already has a side effect on people, which will automatically weaken the immune system, what will happen now that the world is battling COVID19?
Politics / Video: Kano State Is Exposing Its Workers To Health Risk At Fertilizer Plant by naijainfogalery: 11:31am On Jun 11, 2020
Some days ago, some fertilizer monitoring groups led a team to the Kano State Fertilizer company owned by Kano State Government and the result of their visit was scary, the workers were caught manually mixing the dangerous chemicals used to make fertilizer without any form of protection, thereby exposing the workers to serious health risks. This chemical used is making fertilizers is one of the most protected materials due to the fact that it is one of the materials used in making explosivfes (you can google This) . It was also discovered that most the dangerous chemical used for fertilizer production are allowed for use by the factory workers in this factory and such was capable of being used for many dangerous purposes.

Secondly In Nigeria, adulterating fertilizer is a punishable offence, according to the National Fertilizer Quality Control Act of 2019, and the terms of imprisonment ranges from 6 months of 2 years with options of fine ranging from N1 million to N2 million.

How a state government company will be involved in adulterating a product it is selling to its citizens is difficult to understand. Knowing fully well that if this chemicals are mixed wrongly, the fertilizer can destroy the soil, destroy crops and lead to famine and loss of investments. There is no way on earth that humans can manually mix this components thoroughly like machines.

It is also known that manual handling of fertilizer components may provide access to unauthorized people to have some of these raw materials such as Urea ammonium nitrate that could be used for illegal purposes. In these days of insecurity in the north west, a state government should know better.

Urea ammonium nitrate (UAN), anhydrous ammonia, ammonium nitrate, diammonium phosphate (DAP), ammonium sulfate, monoammonium phosphate (MAP), and muriate of potash are ingredients commonly found in commercially blended fertilizers.

According to Wikipedia, Urea nitrate is a fertilizer-based high explosive that has been used in improvised explosive devices in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, and various other terrorist acts elsewhere in the world, including the 1993 World Trade Center bombings. This is why the Federal Government, through the national Sovereign Wealth Authority, has exercised control of the chemicals to ensure they do not end up in the wrong hands. Why would a State Government make this easily reachable to those workers through manual mixing.

Watch Video here
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IovPU0zorlg&feature=youtu.be

So how would a governor that is battling COVID-19 also have a state-owned company manually mixing fertilizer, thereby exposing his people to health risks? How can Kano explain to the world why they are allowing unauthorized people access to the dangerous chemicals used to make fertilizers, knowing the possibilities it could be used for?

What Churches should do with Church Money by Pastor Sam Adeyemi
Pastor Sam Adeyemi is arguably one of the most respected men of God in Nigeria. Sam Adeyemi has been known over the years to reach out to the less privileged, give back to the public, rebuild and furnish Government dilapidated schools and most importantly blessed lives with his wonderful teachings. Remembered early this year, he once said Tithing is not compulsory under the new testaments unlike many men of God who wouldn’t dare say the truth. During one of the sermons in his church, he once again addressed the issue of what the church does with the church money.

He said the church money doesn’t belong to the Pastor and no pastor has the right to take out of it for selfish interest, He said rather, the church money is meant to be used primarily to take care of the welfare of church members. he said he believed every new testament church should make sure that they use the church money for the same thing the apostles in the bible use it for that is they should not allow any member of the church go to bed hungry, this is one obligation of the church.

Ninety percent of the accidents in Nigeria are as a result of human negligence and error. I was on my way to see a client in  a remote part of Lagos when I saw A danfo Bus with an unusual substance in the engine, On a further look, I realised that it was a plastic keg, which serves as the fuel tank was placed inside the engine, For a second I was shocked how people could place the lives of others in danger. This is like a time bomb waiting to happen., as it's only a matter of time,

Properties / Re: How Can I Evict A Flatmate? by naijainfogalery: 11:12pm On Apr 23, 2018
Number 1. What did you need a 3 bedroom flat for, you sound single , if you were married is a different case or using the other rooms as an office.

Anyways let's get to the main case, my dad is a landlord and I know how some tenants sometimes can be funny. If I were in your shoes. I wouldn't renew, I will just take excuse from Landlord to gimme 2 months, then when they won't be expecting I will get a new flat, self con preferably then move without telling them, these are the possible scenarios
a. Landlord didn't give them the house so he wouldn't even look at their faces to eject them
b. They are on a monthly payment plan and their payment has expired they can't sue you

But now that they wouldn't leave
a. Do not make any attempt to break their door, the moment you do haa that's when someone will tell you 10 million was in the room
b. Start by cutting off electricity to their rooms
c. Then change the main lock to your room, lock it up for 2 days without coming home but be prepared to be locked out too but anyone that mistakenly tries that, Just use community street shouting type to send him off your house, neighbors will add mouth to the matter
d. Unfortunate you can't do c because cohabiting another tenants and collecting money was against the agreement the landlord issued.

Intact all of una be the same thing

Romance / Why You Should Never Propose To Your Man by naijainfogalery: 5:16pm On Jan 15, 2018
So I saw the video of a lady that was rejected after she tried proposing to her man which happens to be a surprise proposal at the mall. The heartbroken lady who was seen crying uncontrollable couldn’t stand the rejection from her boo. There are some things that are non African in nature and if I must say, our African men are not ready for this yet, only few might see nothing wrong with it.

Just incase a voice is speaking to you or you are looking at creative ways to be romantic, My sister, I beg of you, Abort mission, Don’t ask the man to marry you publicly. Here are ten reasons why A lady should not propose to her man especially in this part of the world.

1. It’s un-African: Please don’t get me wrong, I am not saying it’s bad for you to ask a man out or ask him to marry you, but asking him publicly to marry you, isn’t something we are used to in this part of the world. In as much as I see nothing wrong in a woman asking a man out, but I don’t think most Nigerian men can stand their woman kneeling and proposing to them in public. Please don’t do it.

2. It kind of make a man feel less of himself: Men love to show that they are in charge, but in a case where they feel their authority or responsibility is being challenged, it becomes a problem. An average African man feel it’s his responsibility to ask you out, but in the case where you do it, you have denied him the feeling of being in charge. As funny as it sounds, that’s how they feel.

3. You might not be able to face the rejection: Unlike men that move on after being rejected, Most woman can’t stand the rejection. Why put yourself through unnecessary emotional and psychological heartache.

4. Your Relationship becomes a social media sensation : We all know social media has it’s ups and down but in and we all know how pushing your relationship on social media is not healthy for the relationship, as anything you say or do can be used to ridicule you online.

5. You don’t have privacy anymore : You lose your privacy as everyone now knows you. So you realise you might tend to start living a fake life just to please people.

6. If things go wrong with your relationship, it will be magnified online for a long time and don’t forget, that the internet never forgets. you will have to live with the guilt all your life.

7. Men are egocentric: Men naturally have big ego and they love to brag about it. A man that is being proposed to might feel his ego is being messed with.

8. He might not be ready or wants to settle with you , make sure you guys discuss this and is is actually interested in you.

9. His friends would mock him: Men unlike woman are very vocal with each other, I can imagine him sit with his friends at a bar and they are discussing relationship matters and he tries to give a point. Then you will hear stuff like, keep quiet you that cannot ask a woman to marry you.

10. Your man may not like the whole attention. Most men, let me say, 95% of Nigerian men won’t like to be put in this situation. So why do something that is against what they like,.

If you feel your man is not taking the right steps, Look for more creative ways to ask him to marry you or make him propose. Please don’t ask your man out publicly , he doesn’t like it.

Foreign Affairs / Germany To Pay Electricity Users Because It Generated Too Much Power by naijainfogalery: 9:57am On Oct 31, 2017
So I was reading a news online when I came across this news on Bloomberg, then I got the shock of my life. So apparently the power generation company in Germany produced a lot of power more than they need that if people dont use the power, It might shut down the plant, so in other to avoid that, they were willing to pay people to Use (waste) the excess power generated. Now this got me thinking, What the Hell is wrong with us in this part of the world?

http://www.naijanani.com/german-electric-company-pay-users-electricity-generated-much-energy/

Read story here":
German power producers are poised to pay customers to use electricity this weekend.

Wind generation is forecast to climb to a record on Sunday, creating more output than needed and driving electricity prices below zero, broker data compiled by Bloomberg show. It would be the first time this year that the average price for a whole day is negative, not just for specific hours.

Germany’s grid operators can struggle to keep the balance between how much energy people are using and how much is being produced when there are high amounts of wind generation. Negative prices mean that producers must either shut down power stations to reduce supply or pay consumers to take the electricity off the grid.

Wind output is forecast to peak at 39,190 megawatts at 7 a.m. on Sunday, equivalent to the output of about 40 nuclear reactors and enough to meet more than half of Germany’s total demand. Onshore wind turbines accounted for almost a third of Germany’s installed power capacity at the end of June and the nation is poised to increase new installations by 9 percent this year, according to industry federation BWE.

Wind power currently supplies about 10 percent of Europe’s electricity and is expected to continue to grow as the technology becomes cheaper. The cost of electricity from offshore wind farms, once one of the most expensive forms of green energy, is expected to slide by 71 percent over the next two decades, according to Bloomberg New Energy Finance.

Earlier this year, Germany shocked the renewable energy industry by handing out contracts to developers willing to build offshore farms without subsidy.

German wind generation reached a record 38,370 megawatts on March 18.

How an American Reported His missing Dog at a Nigerian police station and the reply he got
The article on Nairaland about a missing Nigerian dwarf goat in United State which took the City’s Sheriff to share the post of the missing goat on his social media, reminds me of an incident that happened in my area some years ago.
There is this Yankee returnee who upon getting back to Nigeria decided to get himself a puppy to keep him company. He is often seen every evening walking with his dearest puppy.
So one day he got an emergency call and he needed to quickly rush out forgetting to lock his dearest puppy inside. As we may have it, the puppy escaped through the small opening under the gate.
When he came back , he asked neighbours for the whereabout of his dearest dog and no one saw the dog. After searching frantically for over 2 hours, he decided to go and report the case at the nearest police station .
So the following conversation ensued between the returnee and the police man on duty.

Yankee Man: Good afternoon , Kally is missing please send some of your men to come look for her she is really young and doesn’t know her way.
Police : Oga please cool down you will need to write a report to help us in our search.
Yankee Man: you don’t understand you need to come now, she is just a puppy please come.
Police Man : You mean puppy a dog? Woo! Woo!! Woo!!! (Police man barking like a dog)
Yankee Man: Yes please yes, she is just a 3 month old puppy , she isn’t safe out there
Police man : (Getting angry and furious) you mean your dog got lost and we should follow you to go and look for it?
Yankee Man : Yes , please hurry man ! She isn’t safe out there please.
Police man : please give me a second (went inside and came out with a 2 old looking photo album, opens the book, calls the Yankee man to come closer and said ) You see this one she got missing 5 years ago , we never see am , you see this one, they say he follow man go , it’s been over 3 years , we never see am, you see this one , he is just 12 years old , her mum sent her on errands and she never came back , just last month , we never see am, you see this last one , 4 year old cute boy, was playing in the compound with his mates and till today we are still looking for him. In this book I have over 50 reported cases of missing people in the last 5 years. So human beings lost we never see them, so we should leave our job and follow you to start looking for a common dog, not even a dog self ordinary puppy?
Yankee Man : No no it’s not a common dog it’s Kally , she is a really amazing dog.
Police : Oga you better leave her right now before I change my mind

Yankee Man: (Walks away almost crying)

Some of people later went to console the man that was almost crying as little drops of water was already visible in his eyes. Some were saying , it’s just a dog now , is that why you are now crying ? don’t worry you will buy another one while others were just abusing him not to go and marry and be carrying dogs up and down like a little kid.

In the spirit of the Democracy day. Show some love

The recession is really biting hard on a lot of farmers and it is affecting their outputs negatively. A lot of farms are already shutting down.

Due to the recession in the country, A lot of farmers are really going through hell just to make ends meet. In the process, some of them are downsizing, looking for cheaper sources of inputs and other sources of feeds.

The frustrated farmer who lost over 1,000 crates of eggs worth over a million naira due to the economic recession has made a video in which he curses all Nigerian politicians.
