Chaoga:
I am 20 and for now don't know what to do with 350,000 Naira, So a friend told me investing in shares is good, but how do I go about it? I will need the money when I am 27, Like how much could it yield within that 7 years, Want to know how much I could realize because I thought of something else so wanted to compare. Advise will be highly apreciated.
Well stocks could be a good idea, but,Forex trading would be preferrable. This is not my opinion,it's what even Mega investors we call "The Big Dogs" would tell you. Most of them rarely trade stocks now.Just find out more about Warren Buffett-second world's richest, as well as George Soros.

Just follow my post here on Nairaland from today to see if it's something you could do.I'll be teaching Forex Basics for Beginners
BusinessRe: Aliko Dangote Is $2.5 Billion Richer Than Oprah Winfrey by Nairaplus(m): 11:40am On Sep 09, 2007
Dangote started business way back in 1977 with N500,000 loan from his uncle, Sanusi Dantata.

Let us be mathematical with this Capital loan he started with.

Way back in 1980,

$1 was worth N0.65.

Check http://www.nigeriaworld.com/feature/publication/peterside/060606.html

So,

N1 will be equal to $1.54

This means that Dangote got a loan of

$ 500,000 times 1.54

Which equals $770,000

NB:This was far back in 1980

Converting this sum with todays exchange rate of Naira to dollar, i.e $1 = N 130

We will be right to say dangote got a loan of

N 770,000 x 130

Which is equal to N 100,100,000.

If you are not good at reading numbers let me tell you in words:

Dangote got a loan of One Hundred point one million Naira as a loan from his uncle to start business.

So, he had a greater opportunity to be rich than Nigerian youths of today.

BusinessRe: I Have N15,000 To Invest. How Do I Go About It? by Nairaplus(m): 6:49pm On Aug 22, 2007
N15,000 is so much money that can be used in various ways.I'll try to give you a riddle that will lead you to an answer very fast.
If you woke up tomorrow morning with a lost list of issues on your agenda, and you want to tackle each one that same day, what should you do?
If you said PLAN, then you are right.
Put your money in a vehicle, like the stock market or the Forex market and watch your money grow.In fact you are better of with Forex.Either way you want to go,you will need to learn hard before leaping into it.
You can check http://forexnaira..com for more info on forex trading.
