BusinessRe: How Do I Become A Recharge Card Dealer? by Nairaplus(m): 2:21pm On Jul 24, 2011
The simple truth is that you cannot be certified a dealer. Do not ask me why. What is important is that you can register with any of them as a sub-dealer. You need at least N3million to comfortably start a full sub-dealership outfit dealing in all the GSM recharge cards.

PhonesRe: Mtn Has Started Billing For Dstv Mobile by Nairaplus(m): 7:19am On Jul 13, 2011
I have been using the maxi on my Nokia N96 for the past 2 weeks, although the system fails to deduct the N400 fee. I guess MTN have just found out that it's running an unintended promo. They will soon resolve the billing error and restore it but I miss Big Brother Amplified. No choice, we have to wait for them to fix the damn bug.
BusinessRe: Electricity: Nigerians To Pay More From July 1 by Nairaplus(m): 8:38am On Jun 25, 2011
omoola007:
This is why there will never be electricity in this country. At N10 who in their right minds will invest the Billions of $ needed to get the economy functioning well.

That way too low. How much do you pay per kilowatt to use generator?? that is about what PHCN price should be since they use the same generators (much bigger and inefficient) to transmit power to you.

Mark my words. Power will not get better until people are willing to pay market price and we all know that its not N10. If it was, nobody will care about PHCN because we will all generate our own power.
I don't think so bro. PHCN supplies electricity by a combination of several sources and with hydro being major I would say your argument is too shallow. I run my generator at 4Litre for every 5hours. If you do the maths, then it would come up to 29litres daily. Assuming a litre of fuel costs N65, that would be approximately N1,885 per day for just 21.6kwh. That is at the rate of N87 per Kwh. If I may ask you, Is that what neighbouring Ghana charges its citizens?
BusinessRe: Please Advice What Can I Do With £10,000 (2.5million Naira) In Nigeria? by Nairaplus(m): 8:05am On Jun 25, 2011

I guess you should stop wasting your time.Try to save more because that money is nothing to depend on in Nigeria.I live abroad too and currently I have 8.5M in cash in Nigeria but I know that the money cant do enough for me as per localising a business and settling down.I am tryiing to bring in additional 8M by the end of the year before I can risk going to Nigeria to do business. You will need to secure yourself against the risk of doing business incase something goes wrong.Nigeria has no credit system that can help your business.Beware my guy!
Good advice to heed. Meanwhile start learning now by reading Robert Kiyosaki's: Guide to Investing

Business To BusinessRe: Can You Sell Clothes/shoes? by Nairaplus(m): 11:47am On Jun 24, 2011
What good is a website address that you have set up with a product if you cannot share it even in your profile. I need to see the items you are selling and probably with the price tags on them before opting to venture with you. So please just add the website address to your sinature under your profile.
BusinessRe: Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Nairaplus(m): 11:40am On Jun 24, 2011
The problem is: "Most people are busy doing the wrong things!" Reading just the first book in the series is not enough. Read more. I have bought and read 9 of his books. It costs just N500 each. It doesn't hurt your pocket!

I am a big fan of Robert Kiyosaki. I am practising what he teaches and they really work for me. I don't know about you.

But come to think of it: Saving or Investing? Which is the best plan to follow? He did a very good job in explaining this. Moreover he writes his book based on personal experiences. As developed as America is, you cannot tell a lie as easily as you can do here in Nigeria. Because you know what? Someone will investigate and if they found out you are lying, they will spill the beans. And counting on the fact that he is a global celebrity, think of how widespread the effect of that would have been.

So stop arguing if he is telling the truth or not and start learning by keeping an open mind.

If you think he is lying start a business and do the exact opposite of what he teaches.

Just my one Naira contibution. Cheers!

You should have done much better by suggesting a better alternative to him. Do you know how much he can make as a subdealer?

@mboil, I do agree that you should research well before venturing into the business, and by that you can start from a registered dealer in your state. Sub-dealers are registered under a particular dealer and are paid directly by the Telecom Companies. That is, MTN pays you directly, Airtel, Etisalat, etc will do the same. The business is a turnover business, just like the pure water production business is, but it sells volume daily.

ComputersRe: Hello: Pls Help Wit A Link To Download Free Antivirus Trial Version by Nairaplus(m): 3:24pm On Jun 08, 2011
If you did not succeed while trying to download avast, the likely reason is that your internet connection is so slow that before the downloa completes, the network times out.

The Avast antivirus file is a bit large(it should be about 50MB in size), so your download may get to some percent to completion and report Download Failed as a result of this problem.

I have downloaded from Avast website countless times, so I know that the problem is 99% not likely from their side.

Try and get a faster internet connection. Then use a download manager to help your download.

Hope that helps!

BusinessRe: Information Required Regarding Raising Secure Finance In Nigeria? by Nairaplus(m): 6:59pm On Jun 04, 2011
The information you seek can be gotten for free from your banker. The bank basically want to know how much you are ready to put down. This can be as little as 30% of the property value. Then they will give you the rest. But it's not that simple, you have to dialogue with them.

Cheers!
