Seun: I want to promote Python3 & CherryPy in Nigeria. I also want to bring great programmers out of the closet (for jobs).Exactly what I thought when I read this comment. Thank God Seun is upfront enough to say it. |
First, I have been working on this E-commerce Web Solution for the past 2years. Now, with the help of some related posts here on Nairaland, and some ideas from my useful head, I have solved many parts to it. Only a few more intricate and important issues to tackle, and God willing, I'm gonna be done with it before the year runs out. If E-commerce interests him, then, I might be ready to partner. Second, something in the education sector particularly for 1 million annual prospective customers. This one is much more promising but will involve much more funds cos China will be involved. I ain't disclosing any more than this cos the wind has ears. You may contact me. My contact info is in the signature below. |
If this is true, then either Mark is crazy insane or insane crazy. When you like a page, Unlike is displayed should you change your mind and want to reverse the Like action. I wonder why there should now be a hate button. Or is he also gonna make that with Unhate? Confusionist Mark! |
Seun, you are tempting me so much with this Python Programming Language. I don't know if I should start learning it so as to engage in these mouth-watering contests of yours or to give a blind eye. It's Ok! |
Fellow webmasters, I am in need of information on how I can start this bulk SMS business. Basically, all I need is information on how to get (own) my own gateway, and sell reseller packages to others. My question is: How can I get the gateway? I don't want to piggyback on another person's gateway as a reseller. So is it possible that I buy the gateway from a host or something? Your candid relies would be immensely appreciated! Thanks Y'all!!!!!! |
chibikee: if you have 25mil; which of these business will you invest in. which one is more recurative. Please advise.First, you need to ask: Is 25 million naira capable of starting any of the 3 businesses you mentioned? I can only answer to the best of knowledge, which is for Bottled Water Packaging business, but I recommend that you carry out a market survey for the remaining two. You need a feasibility study to have a view of what expect when starting your business. The feasibility study will be your hands-on guide, just like a quantity surveyor is in civil/building construction. Although a feasibility study is not a crystal ball, it helps you know the project cost, which includes all things from fixed assets (like Land, building, equipment/machines, fixtures/furniture, etc) working capital/operating expenses, manpower requirements/cost and raw materials requirement, source and cost. A feasibility study will also give you an overview of monthly financial projections for the first year and annual records for another 2 or 4 years. This helps especially in determining what production level you need to stay above break-even point and post a net profit. With knowledge of this you can also create marketing plan that will achieve the sales required to produce this result. I have the water packaging feasibility study, which I personally created with accompanying spreadsheet for all the financial tables. You could have it if you so desire, but it costs you though. My advice is that you take the time to find a good feasibility study for the other two businesses. That way, you can screen the three and see clearly which one looks more promising. I hope this helped. Good luck! |
Interesting tutorials! |
smile4kenn: I am a programmer and I work here in the USA(I get headaches staring and hitting my fingers everyday on python, Visual studio and SQL) This is just my second year working as a programmer after uni graduation. I am paid $36 an hour and I work 40+ hours a week. Do the maths yourselfWell, I did the math, and only few people earn up to that in Nigeria. @Seun, I would have jumped at your offer if Python or Linux were my forte. Nevertheless, I am available in case you need a trainee. Will like to work for you. |
sauer: You are on an island in the middle of a lake. The lake is in a remote part of the country and there has never been a bridge connecting the island to the mainland.First, let's see the definitions: An island is any piece of land that is surrounded by water. A lake is a body of water that is surrounded by land. Now, what is an island surrounded by a lake? It's a joke. |
Well, this software is free if you can just do a google search like me. Downloading the "Free" version and asking people to pay for it is unbelievable. It's FREE when someone downloads and becomes PAID when they make the mistake of not finding it to download for FREE... Very clever marketing technique...Selling a free product that can be downloaded for free and giving a paid version of that free version which is in truth a paid version because someone paid for something that's free (i hope the wordiness didn't confuse you). Give exact details as to the difference between the paid and free version or I will start linking to other forums that have had people talk about someone trying to sell this product when its free. You wouldn't be selling freely available software available in the VIP section of another forum, right? You wouldn't be selling software someone else created, right?... Because THAT is piracy. Not making any accusation, but you had better prove that the software is yours and that there is a "paid" version. |
hugooh42:Of course it is. Consultancy is part of my after sales service to all my clients. |

Domain mapping bro. No backyard method can easily match up with it. If credit card is a problem, use a payment service like orderbay as suggested by someone else. If it were a , I will easily show you the way out, cos google already have the mapping tool installed on its Blogger platform. |

Rhino.5dm:@Rhino, I for one never supported the subsidy removal from day one! But, from The Finance Minister's analysis that I watched recently on NTA, I think it's rationally Ok. My concern is whether this price increase will portend well for all and sundry. A friend on Facebook just informed me that each Fuel Station can fix their price. If that is true, then I think Competition will help stabilise the stop price sooner or later. |
Fuel N140 per litre at a filling station near me. Is that the new pump price? Or is this cos of the season? If it is the new price as a result of the subsidy removal, it then means that price of other commodities will appreciate to at least double the original price. Na Naija,we de. We are shock-absorbers by nature and I for one should cope! Thing is, if there can be uniform price increase across board, including SALARY, it shouldn't prove a problem. Otherwise, only God can help Nigerians! |
I need Bold2. Have N20k. |
