welcome back. I believe you had good intentions with APC but see what it has become.... I do not see these present people in APC beating PDP in 2015 going by what we see and hear these days. |
bigtt76:...seriously not a laffn marra for Keshi oooo. He will need that security everywhere if he gets back as SE coach. |
well good news. implications - become a broker under NSE look for foreign investors, create web sites to woo them too. let them open accounts in our banks, make transfers, buy naija stocks, you make commissions, etc. Investment gurus et all who know better, explain better. |
Wow, great feat. I had 3.66 then nobody looked my way chai naija . I believe there are real smart students in our institutions, some are swept away by unfavourable circumstances helped by poor education policies. |
Pinnick you could not have sacked Keshi whose contract expired. I know Keshi has not done so well from recent results of SE matches but Keshi has made his mark already so Pinnick withdraw the Word 'sacked', thank Keshi for holding fort without a contract when your NFF was in disarray. I wish Keshi all the best in his future endeavours. Amodu may you do the required magic and take SE to the nations cup finals...wherever it holds...we nor fear ebola again...seeing Morroco dey fear. |
Are these the men that played Argentina in the world cup? ADONBILIVIT! These are by no means champions of africa...... or are the SE players sabotaging Keshi? I ask this because with the tight rope for SEs qualifiaction the bite/fire is still absent. |
Surveying with GPS Overview: Initially developed for military use, GPS is now part of everyday life; used in mobile phones, in-car navigation and search and rescue equipment to mention just a few. But there is a wide variety of equipment and techniques that can be used for surveying. This web site provided by the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum gives more detail http://airandspace.si.edu/exhibitions/gps/ GPS was rapidly adapted for surveying, as it can give a position (Latitude, Longitude and Height) directly, without the need to measure angles and distances between intermediate points. Survey control could now be established almost anywhere and it was only necessary to have a clear view of the sky so the signal from the GPS satellites could be received clearly. GPS is similar in some ways to the Trilateration and EDM except that the known positions are now the GPS satellites (and their orbits) 20,000 km in space. The equipment and calculations are extremely complex, but for the user the process is generally very simple. In the commonly available receivers, the GPS receiver almost instantly works out its position (Latitude, Longitude and Height) with an uncertainty of a few metres, from the data broadcast by the satellites. This data includes a description of the satellites changing position (its orbit) and the time the data was transmitted. Surveyors and map makers use GPS for precision positioning. GPS is often used to map the location of such facilities as telephone poles, sewer lines, and fire hydrants. Surveyors use GPS to map construction sites and property lines. Forestry, mineral exploration, and wildlife habitat management all use GPS to precisely define positions of important assets and to identify changes. During data collection, GPS points can be assigned codes to identify them as roads, streams, or other objects. These data can then be compared and analyzed in computer programs called Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

arabbunkum: I totally agree with this man. Keshi is an analogue coach who does not fit into the required level of a modern football coach.NFF nor fit make Keshi digital coach? ![]() |

Was the ecowas official quarantined? if not then some 'gunpower' has surely exploded. Medical researchers should do something fast while we all take serious precautions for ourselves, our families and work places....earlier is better on this. Who's next? hmmmmn. |
pray and work hard, then victory. Kudos to the medical team and all those who contributed to the progress. I still think our medics can do better. |
PLAIN TRUTH..... EBOLA strikes "stone age" Africa. The entire continent, comprised largely of backward thinking people, is thrown into confusion. They were praying. Calling on God as usual. God doesn't drop vaccines or cures from heaven. I wonder why they can't get that into their thick skulls. EBOLA hit Africa in the 70s. The Americans took note. They developed a cure and locked it up in a wardrobe somewhere. A thinking society, a practical society, a sensible society. They solved the problem in the lab and not in the church or mosque. They know the solution to problems is not by handing it over to God or casting it on Jesus or Mohammed only but also by applying your God given intellect. They found a cure and locked it away, for a day it will be needed. We were in church and mosques, praying. So EBOLA hit West Africa and the entire continent became jittery. Hundreds died. America kept quiet. Two Americans got infected. The Americans opened their wardrobe, flew the cure to Africa and saved their citizens. The drug worked within minutes! The two citizens were saved. Not by prayers only but also by common sense preparation and hard work. God doesn't help the praying Africans with vaccines or cures. They die in their hundreds. It's because of their sins. What else will they say?The Americans don't help lazy minded Africans too. They make money with their vaccines, which praying Africans have to buy. Cos they won't spend their time taking the hard route to solve their problems. They will rather gather in special prayer grounds and ask God to intervene. But he does not always intervene when he has given you the means to solve it. Except maybe through the money making Pharma companies in America. Such is the life of those who don't think… ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOW...THE GODS CANNOT DO FOR A MAN WHAT HE OUGHT TO DO FOR HIMSELF. Our lab scientists and their research persons have a lot of work to do now and for the future. Rise Africa and my Nigeria! |

An extract: In order to help our Embassy Community better understand some of the key points about the Ebola virus we have consulted with our medical specialists at the U S State Department and assembled this list of bullet points worded in plain language for easy comprehension. Our medical specialists remind everyone that they should be following the guideline from the center for Disease Control and the World Health Organisation. • The suspected reservoirs for Ebola are fruit bats. • Transmission to humans is thought to originate from infected bats or primates that have become infected by bats. • Undercooked infected bat and primate (bush) meat transmits the virus to humans. • Human to human transmission is only achieved by physical contact with a person who is acutely and gravely ill from the Ebola virus or their body fluids. • Transmission among humans is almost exclusively among caregiver family members or health care workers tending to the very ill. • The virus is easily killed by contact with soap, bleach, sunlight, or drying. A washing machine will kill the virus in clothing saturated with infected body fluids. • A person can incubate the virus without symptoms for 2-21 days, the average being 5-8 days before becoming ill. THEY ARE NOT CONTAGIOUS until they are acutely ill. • Only when ill does the viral load express itself first in the blood and then in other bodily fluids (to include vomit, faeces, urine, breast milk, semen and sweat). • If you are walking around you are not infectious to others. • There are documented cases from Kikwit, DRC of an Ebola outbreak in a village that had the custom of children never touching an ill adult. Children living for days in small one room huts with parents who died from Ebola did not become infected. • You cannot contract Ebola by handling money, buying local bread or swimming in a pool. • There is no medical reason to stop flights, close boarders. From a friend. |

ok just what have you created to add to existence since you became aware of your potential? |
Sidajili: I think we should stick to the subject matter and discuss the use and regulation of theses 'toys' in a fresh post. Regulation is a huge discussion and we will get nowhere here.Well I believe you understand the implications of having just anyone use this type of 'toy' anywhere. Anyway as you said let's 'die' the matter afterall we have aviation authoriity and security agencies who should know what to do especially with current security challenges in Naija. Happy new year! |
I can see guys are already using these UAVs in Naija just like that. I think it's time the use is regulated before one 'big' bad news springs up. Authorities in US are trying to control the use of these 'toys'. |
wow...wow..wow. great beginning. Congratulations. I just hope there would sponsorships to further this on naija soil. This boy has demonstrated complete knowledge of what he required to get this done and as help came he did it! I am so happy reading this. God bless you more and keep you. |
That's better called UAV instead. It must have been launched from a nearby location to do an aerial Photogrammetric survey. Well the owner may look for it because of the data if he is not afraid of being attacked. Its not necessarily a toy. Its the new attraction for surveillance and aerial mapping. |

Worth thinking about and for our leaders: “It is said that no one truly knows a nation until one has been inside its jails. A nation should not be judged by how it treats its highest citizens, but its lowest ones.” ― Nelson Mandela |
