Politics7 Months Unpaid Civil Servants Salary: Aragbesola Says He Performed Excellently by nansng(op): 3:58pm On Jun 10, 2015
The Governor of the state of living spring, The state of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, has affirmed that his administration has performed Credibly well.

Meanwhile check by this newspaper shows that his government is yet to pay civil servants in the state for the past seven months.

The governor in a statement issued in Osogbo on Tuesday by his media aide, Mr. Semiu Okanlawon, scored himself high.

He was quoted as eulogizing himself during a courtesy visit to him by the Osun Action Strategy and Development Group.

According to him, “Despite the financial shortage, even the most virulent critics of this government cannot deny that the administration has performed creditably well.

“This government built roads, schools, supplied students with Opon Imo (Tablets of Knowledge), distributed uniforms to all public students in the state, created welfare programmes for the old and vulnerable people as well as supporting farmers.

“No state has done what Osun did in the area of security, which today has totally checked crimes and other anti-social activities in the state. Huge amount of money was committed to purchasing armoured personnel carrier and ambulances which are strategically located in the state and responding to distress calls round the clock.

“If all the programmes, with huge cost involved, are factored into the accruable revenue of the state, it will be crystal clear why the state is where it is today.”

He stated that the unchecked oil theft under the PDP, in which the nation was losing 400, 000 barrels per day, culminated in the drastic reduction of oil price in the international market.

“This price fall has created for the country a tragedy of huge proportion that translated into economic disaster, pains and agony for the workers across the country,” he said.

Aregbesola said the state collected N5bn as monthly allocation in February 2013 but the allocation drastically reduced to a mere N540m in April 2015.

He said further, “As we are trying to find solution to these challenges, we must not also run away from what brought us to this situation.

“For those who think this is an opportunity to pillory us in this economic condition, I pity them. Only God does not fail. We shall overcome; we shall recover from this challenge. I sympathise and feel for the workers. I appeal to them to bear with us as we work assiduously to end this problem. I assure them that the period of agony will soon be over.

“It is disheartening for people to work and such work fails to translate into wages. It is a harrowing experience for both workers and the government.”

PoliticsRivers Government Recovers 10 Vehicles Stolen By ‘amaechi’s Men’ by nansng(op): 10:10am On Jun 10, 2015
DETERMINED to get back government property looted from the Government House in Port Harcourt, security operatives on Monday evening recovered 10 vehicles allegedly stolen by officials of the immediate past administration in the state.

The vehicles were recovered from two locations identified as Rumuokparali and Trans-Amadi in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of the state.

A statement from Government House identified the recovered vehicles as one Coaster bus, two Nissan Urvan buses, two Higer vehicles, one Land Cruiser, one Toyota Hilux Pick-up, one Peugeot 607 Saloon car and two Peugeot 406 cars.

It was learnt that security operatives who conducted the operation were accompanied to the locations by some Government House employees.

The Rivers State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike, had, on assumption of duty, alleged massive looting of government property and facilities by the immediate past administration.

Wike had also taken leading Rivers State stakeholders on a tour of the Government House to see the points where facilities in Government House were either looted or vandalised.

The governor had, however, vowed that all stolen government property would be recovered while those found to have engaged in the criminal act would be made to face the wrath of the law.

A statement from Government House revealed that security operatives had begun the interrogation of those found at the locations where the stolen vehicles were recovered.

Government House in Port Harcourt says the property recovery process will be a continuous process.

Speaking on the development, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Ahmad Mohammad, told Southern City News on Tuesday that the command was able to recover the vehicles based on information that the stolen items were seen in unauthorised places.

“Acting on information that some suspected vehicles belonging to the Rivers State Government were seen parked in unauthorised yards, the command recovered three Coaster buses, two 306 Peugeot, two Hummer buses and one 306 Peugeot,” Mohammad said.

He, however, pointed out that investigation was still ongoing with a view to recovering more of the stolen vehicles and property removed without authorisation from the Government House.

PoliticsNigerians Fallen Soldiers: Time To Ask Questions by nansng(op): 9:47am On Jun 08, 2015
Roaming the internet and networking with friends and associates, I ran into a very unfortunate news about one of the Nigerian best citizen who news have it that he was fallen by the dreaded insurgent group; Bokoharam. It should be recalled that I have spoken publicly to the Nigeria populace concerning the body language of Nigerian military council to the welfares, and feelings of our fighting soldiers. Many issues have become covered as far as the operations of Nigerian military is concerned, it seems the best training of the army borders on how they can bully their fellow citizens into fearing them, and they glory in this ephemeral situation which makes them above board among their families, friends, and neighbors.
It has always been the news of soldiers kill 200 , soldiers kills 300 bokoharam, but the military have never published for once, the names of soldiers kill in confrontation against bokoharam, thus leaving Nigerians in a state of confusion of whether the soldiers are also been killed or they are just another Hollywood ‘james bond’ that can never die in a battle. We need to ask questions about the conditions of our fighting warriors in the land. They are the true heros of our democracy, not politicians who are benefiting from the same rot they help cause.

On 10th of November 2010, Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo, shared the sad story of how his father, a gallant soldier fought tiredly durrring the biafran war, but was found dead under the bridge after two (2) weeks of his death. Pa Ashimolowo Gold, who derived his name from his alias, ‘ashi ma lowo’ (we shall soon be rich) was a soldier who lived all his service years in one barrack or the other, the children also which include the now famous Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo was relocating from barracks to barracks supporting their father in his bid to help fight for the unity of this country. Alas, he died, only God knows when, but the autopsy revealed that his dead body has been stinking under the bridge for well over two weeks. How his body got there remain story for the gods. Ashimolowo’s family has never recovered from that sad experience, addressing the attentive crowd of participants at the Rev Sam Adeyemi’s event in 2010, he lamented ‘I can never die for this country’ he continue, ‘if you can, goodluck to you, but count me out’ I thought to myself, what’s Pastor Matthew saying? Why is he discouraging some of us that want to die for Nigeria, but today I know better? Nigeria doesn’t even have the correct database of her living citizens talk less of the dead. When you died for this country, memory of you dies with you. Only people with big names might be remembered occasionally. I regret lamenting on the lamentation of Pastor Mathew that day, because it would not take five full years before my own lamentation begins.

A lieutenant colonel confide in me that even Supreme Military Council does not have a data of how many soldier that have died in this war, couple with the fact that for them lives of junior soldiers are business as usual, I begin to see reasons in the report of Amnesty International that I had formally condemned. One of these days, I will retract my views on them in the newspapers, afterral, “a mistake made with boldness must be corrected with boldness”
More than thirty years after the unexplainable death of Pa Ashimolowo, another issue in the similitude of Pa Ashimolowo happened. Lt col Akinyemi Temidayo, a fine officer, and gallant soldier of the Nigeria Army, a former student leader in the osun state polytechnic iree, osun state. A graduate of Nigerian Defense Academy, was reported to have been killed in the war against bokoharam, this my brother was actually killed on 21st 2015, but the Nigerian military kept this away from his family and friends, his beautiful wife was not contacted at all, while roaming the social media, his wife Modupe Akinyemi saw the picture of her husband with RIP tag on it, while trying to digged further, it occurs to her that her husband had truly been deployed to Maduguri, Borno state, (the death center of Nigeria soldiers). She fell into coma. Friends and family don’t know anything; After severe questioning of whom it may concern in the army, the family was told to wait for twenty-four hours to get information. Had it been that the picture did not went viral on watssap , facebook and other social media, the story would have go the way that of Pa Ashimolowo goes. God have mercy, these Generals have questions to answer. Their shoulders are full of stars; their hands are full of blood.

I ventilated my position to the supreme military council of the nation on the death sentence passed on the twelve soldiers, the soldiers have genuine intentions for their country, how on heart will their good and risky will for their country led them to death in the hands of their superiors who have chosen to be ruthless and wicked.
Just for a quick recall, the condition in the barrack was such that does not befit a prodigal citizen; talk less of heroic men who at the risk of their life took a profession which is a short cut to hell. I salute the soldiers at the war front against external aggression, I spit on the pot belly Generals, I spit on their heartless chest, I spit on their greedily accumulated fleshy bodies, their lives is corruption personified, May they never escape the wrath of God! You push young soldiers to the war front and you sit there in Abuja, enjoying at the officers mess. That mess will mess you up, by the time the whole corrupt practices in Army is exposed to the public. STARS ON THEIR SHOULDER, BLOOD IN THEIR ARM.

Those twelve gallant soldiers were reportedly left for dead, they were staffed, hoping to use hunger and torture to kill them, nobody is saying anything about that, this country is next to hell, what shall be said to thousands of Nigerians, who want to offer themselves for a reasonable service for their country, what motivation would be given them, what inspiration are they getting already.

Nigerian soldiers are human beings too, they deserved human right, they deserved to be spoken for, and they are souls that must not be lost. Every lost soldier in this country must be celebrated. Instead of giving national honors to rogues and political misfits who go about milking the treasury of the country dry, lets for ones celebrate these young men, who consciously chose the part of death, that the country may live.
Great Soldiers of the Nigerian Army, I SALUTE YOU! You were there in the middle of the night, ensuring that we sleep in peace, you were there in the death cold sound of strange guns, when the enemies of this country came from nowhere, you were there to quench their fire of thorn, you broke the back of world war two, the peace of Africa was your hand work, the calmness of Liberia was your craft, you delivered sierra- Leone from the hegemony of rebels, you freed Uganda from the menace of genocide, without you in Nigeria, we would have no heroes.

PoliticsBuhari’s Trip To Niger, Chad Exposes APC Hipocrisy by nansng(op): 6:30pm On Jun 07, 2015
The Peoples Democratic Party , PDP, has accused the governing All Progressive Congress, APC, of double standard and insincerity as the party that once chastised immediate past President Goodluck Jonathan for seeking regional cooperation to finding solution to the challenge of insurgency is now hailing President Muhammadu Buhari for toeing the same line.

PDP National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh in a statement on Sunday said in the days ahead, Nigerians should expect further unmasking of APC’s double standard and blackmail upon which they rode to power.

The party also condemned the venom with which the APC attacked well-meaning Nigerians for daring to offer constructive criticisms to President Buhari, following apparent loss of tempo in the fight against insurgency since he took office, describing such as unacceptable in a democracy especially in a country like Nigeria where the citizens have been enjoying freedom of expression in the last 16 years under the PDP.

“The APC must understand that the hallmark of democracy is freedom of expression and opinion, particularly on governance issues; inalienable rights of all citizens guaranteed by the constitution and which must not be denied them under any guise whatsoever.

“Though we had decided to give President Muhammadu Buhari and the ruling party sometime to settle down, indicators show that the APC is not getting its bearing right and the PDP as a party that has nurtured and sustained democracy in the last 16 years, we cannot fold our hands and watch our nation drift towards dangerous undemocratic paths”, the party said.

The PDP lamented that since the APC took over power at the centre, there has been no clear sign of seriousness and direction, but confusion, selfish infighting and hysteria for positions of power while the nation drifts, noting that the situation is unhealthy for democracy and national development.

“The concern of well-meaning Nigerians is that this may be a pointer to the fact that the APC lacks clear-cut directions on how to govern a nation as complex as Nigeria”, it said.

The PDP observed that though some jostling for political offices are expected among politicians in a democracy, Nigerians are not comfortable with the confusion in the APC camp and the dimension it has assumed.

The party said “the negative effect of the glaring political commotion in the APC is compounding President Buhari’s self confessed nervousness and puzzlement, his flip-flops and worrisome reneging on campaign promises for which Nigerians will continue to hold him accountable.

“Instead of fighting for positions, which betrays their lust, APC leaders should be more concerned with how to help President Buhari, who is still struggling with his ministerial list and basic appointments more than a week after his inauguration.

“They should be more concerned with how to end insurgency by the end of July as promised by President Buhari in his April 2, 2015 CNN interview.

“They should be concerned about how to pay N5,000 each to 25 million poor Nigerians beginning from the end of June; how to bring the naira to the same value with the dollar; provide allowances to the discharged but unemployed Youth Corps members for Twelve (12) months; provide free education and meals for school children among others as they promised during the campaigns.

“We invite the APC to note the concern of Nigerians that the pictures emanating from their camp are not reassuring in this direction”, the PDP said.

My initial startup capital was #10,000 #smiles so I couldn't have possibly build a photo studio when I start this experiment that later manifest to business.

Beside you can hire a good photographer to take your product pictures for you if you are just starting and do not have good images of your product.

The cheapest photo studio will set you back with $350 without camera. The cheapest DSLR camera will cost you more than $400 without other investment in lens and tripod.

PoliticsJonathan Would’ve Suffered Worse Defeat If We Didn’t Help – Fani-kayode by nansng(op): 11:39pm On May 19, 2015
Former minister and spokesperson for President Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign, Femi Fani-Kayode, has debunked claims that hate campaign by some members of PDP Presidential Campaign Organisation caused the party’s defeat at the March 28 presidential election.

Mr. Fani-kayode, who served as Director of Media and Publicity of the organisation, spoke with newsmen in Abuja on Tuesday.

He said President Goodluck Jonathan would have lost the presidential election by at least 10 million votes but for the intervention of his campaign team.

Mr. Jonathan lost the election by less than 3 million votes.

He was reacting to recent accusation by the PDP National Working Committee (NWC) that the electoral misfortune that hit the party after the 2015 elections was due to hate campaigns by the party’s campaign organisation.

Mr. Fani-kayode, who described some members of the party’s NWC as “enemy within us”, alleged that two members of the committee were working for the opposition in the course of the election.

He described most members of the NWC as ignorant of party campaigns, adding that the campaign organisation “stood up for the party, fought for the President and did not betray the cause”.

While calling for the resignation of the NWC, Mr. Fani-Kayode defended the media strategy used by the PDP Presidential Campaign Organisation.

He also exonerated the First Lady, Patience Jonathan, Gov. Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State of blame in the loss of the party.

Mr. Fani-kayode said while President Jonathan was constantly under serious hostile pressure during the campaigns, the First Lady encouraged the organisation and inspired its members more than anyone else.

“I do not want to rock the boat out of respect for our President and our party elders; otherwise I would say a lot more that will shock the nation and the party faithful.

“I have a whole file on it which we compiled during the campaign. Two members of the NWC specifically were actually working for the APC and were on their payroll,” he said.

Their job, he added, was to destroy the PDP fortunes, expose its secrets, create discord in its ranks and undermine the efforts of the campaign organisation in the media campaign.

“That is just one shocker and there are plenty more. The time to talk is not now. That time will come.
“You will be shocked by what we know about these people and their sordid efforts to stop Jonathan and betray their own party.

“The truth is that the NWC has to go and I add my voice to that of Govs. Aliyu Babaginda, Sule Lamido, Ayodele Fayose and that of so many other people,” he said.

He added that there was need for a change at the top if the PDP was serious about forging party unity.
“This is critical to restoring its fortunes, redeeming it and winning the election in 2019.’’

Mr. Fani-Kayode, who described the APC media machine as awesome, maintained that for the first time since the establishment of APC, they were put on the defensive by the PDP presidential campaign organisation.

He, however, added that the PDP “must remain free of acrimony, united and focused”, saying the party must “throw out the bad eggs in the NWC”.

“In order to survive over the next four years as a party, we must make the necessary changes at the top; otherwise we will be utterly decimated.

“The present leadership of the party, particularly its information organ, has no chance of standing against an APC Federal Government because they are weak and lack understanding and courage.

“They will be savaged beyond belief and torn apart if they try it because they do not have the stomach, the grit, the appetite or the wherewithal for a long drawn fight”, he said.

He held that instead of preparing to defend the party faithful and fortunes of its members over the next four years, they were making allegations and alienating many party leaders.

Webmasters[google Adsense] How To Earn $100 Per Day With | I Think This Might Help Someone by nansng(op): 8:37am On May 09, 2015
Earning $100, $200 or even $300 per day with Google AdSense is not an impossible job.

Many bloggers and website owners are doing it, and you are not an exception. The only thing you need is better planning and execution, hard work, determination and passion for blogging about your topic or niche.

Before diving into the exact process, let’s know some terminology for better understanding of Google AdSense and how you can generate more revenue by selling your ad inventories on your blog.

What Is AdSense: It’s a monetization program by Google for online content from websites, mobile sites, and site search results with relevant and engaging ads.

CTR : Your ad Click-through Rate is the number of ad clicks divided by the number of individual ad impressions. Suppose you are showing 3 AdSense ads on every page, your 1 page view is equal to 3 ad impressions.

CTR = Clicks / Ad Impressions X 100

Suppose, you get 5 clicks out of 500 ad impressions, your CTR would be 1% (5/500X100).

CPC : Cost-Per-Click is the revenue you earn each time a visitor clicks on your ad. CPC is usually determined by the advertisers. In some competitive niches like finance, marketing, online products etc. advertisers may be willing to pay more per click than others.

CPM: CPM means “Cost Per 1000 Impressions.”

Sometimes advertisers opt for CPM ads instead of CPC and set their price for 1000 ad impressions. And they pay each time their ads appear on any website.

Let’s Make $100 Everyday With Google AdSense, Right?
For the convenience of calculation we assume that – You serve your AdSense ads on your blog or website, irrespective of showing your ads on your mobile site and added the site search results with AdSense.

Your CTR is 1% and your average CPC is $0.25. It’s quite achievable and lots of bloggers usually get it. We also assume that Page View = Ad Impression for easy calculation. You can manipulate the parameters on your own for desired results.

To make $100 everyday you need 40,000 Page Views/day Or, 400 Clicks a day @ 1% CTR and $0.25 CPC. For 40,000 Page Views you have to produce 500 awesome articles or blog posts which attract at least 80 or more page views/article everyday.
Apart from CPC, you will also earn from your CPM ad impressions. Irrespective of any niche, the average CPM earning is $1 to $1.5 per 1,000 impressions. You can make $40 to $60 per day easily from 40,000 page views.
You can also sell your Ad space directly or via BuySellAds.com and generate $6,000 Per Month on an average from 40,000 page views. Check out how webmasters and bloggers are making $6,000 to $8,000 Per Month from BuySellAds with forty thousand page views per day. So your daily earning will be $200 (6000/30=200).
A niche blog with high quality articles converts very well with affiliate marketing. You can easily earn $40 to $80/day from affiliate selling with correct implementation and execution.
Now your total earning per day is $100 + $40 + $200 +$40 = $380 from CPC, CPM, Direct Ad Sell, Affiliate Marketing for 40,000 page views per day. I’ve taken the lowest possible earnings from all the 4 sources.

$380 per day means $11,400 per month (380X30= 11,400) Or, $136,800 per year(11,400X12=136,800). Isn’t it a whooping amount to lead a lavish life?

Which is well above your desired earning of $100 per day from Google AdSense, right? 1000s of people are making money by writing articles, and you can also do it. The only thing I want to say is “Be Focused!”

PoliticsEven Gani Fawehinmi Endorsed Buhari- Spynigeria.com by nansng(op): 12:20pm On Mar 14, 2015
Gani Fawehinmi unknown to many endorsed Muhammadu Buhari of the then Presidential Candidate of The All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) in the 2007 Presidential election.

In His words:

My endorsement was based on the former head of state’s outstanding record of anti-corruption crusade, which Buhari brought to bear during his administration between December 1983 and August 1985.

Fawehinmi who received the former Army General and his entourage at his Ikeja G.R.A. residence at about 6:04pm also said that two other notable presidential candidates, Alhaji Umaru Musa Yar’Adua of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, of the Action Congress (AC), are not fit to rule the country.

He Further stated:

On Buhari’s credentials: “His profile has been very much known to me long before now. During the turbulent days of 1983 December 31st and August 1985, I had cause to support many of his activities.
“This is a serious election, very serious one. I’m happy, either morally or legally, one has fallen by the way side. With an avalanche of revelations of scandals whether $145m from the PTDF or other areas that have not been exhumed, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar can never be our president, that’s clear,” he said.
