One of the Cameroonian ladies was trying to get into our goal during a break in the game for a freekick. Our goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie, was telling her to go back. Asisat Oshoala saw what was happening and came and physically pushed the Cameroonian back.
While Oshoala was pushing that Cameroonian, another Cameroonian tried to run into our goal, but Chiamaka blocked her. However, the Cameroonian knocked down Chiamaka. Asisat then came and dragged that Cameroonian.
Luckily the lineswoman saw everything. A melee ensued and the lineswoman told the referee about the fact that the Cameroonian knocked down Chiamaka and the referee showed the Cameroonian a red card.
That was the second time that the Cameroonians tried to run into our goal.
Coach Randy Waldrum was asked about the drama in the post match press conference and he said that he doesn't believe in voodoo, so he'll let Deborah Abiodun answer the question.
Deborah Abiodun said (in Yoruba) "Omo ibile ni mi" (meaning, "I am a daughter of the soil). She said that she believes that the Cameroonians were just trying to distract them. She said that she doesn't believe in juju, she believes in God and she believes that the Cameroonians were just trying to distract the Falcons.
Even after the game, some Cameroonian fans kept going to her Instagram page to accuse her of using juju and they said that Nigeria would never qualify for the Olympics, so she decided to face them after we qualified (see second screenshot).
naptu2: We are experiencing a similar problem in Lekki Phase 1. LCC built a pedestrian bridge to enable people cross the expressway. They also erected a metal fence in the median of the expressway to stop people running across and endangering their lives. You will not believe the number of times that people have destroyed that fence. LCC also stationed Man O War officials to arrest people that are jaywalking (or jayrunning), but this has not stopped the problem. People still destroyed the fence in the middle of the night. Now it seems like LCC have given up. They haven't replaced the fence in quite a while.
Zxcvbnmghtr: Her success has everything to do with Nigeria. First she is a Nigerian who played for Nigeria and still plays for Nigeria. She got the opportunity to show case her talent by playing for Nigeria.
I have never seen that much nonsense before. She got to France by playing for the Nigerian Under 20 team at the 2018 FIFA Under 20 World Cup in France. That's where Paris FC saw her and became interested in her. They signed her in 2020.
Thewrath: Probably would have been a failed 7th wife like it’s practiced by the envious ones..her success has nothing to do with Nigeria as she is not on national representation.
🤣🤣🤣
Tell me you don't know anything about her without telling me you don't know anything about her.
